Wonderful tour with Fetah - he did a great job!!
Ife was our tour guide and was amazing! His knowledge and passion for history and art were impressive. We had a great time and zero regrets using The Tour Guy for our Louvre adventure!
Well worth the extra cost to have a semi private tour. Our guide Ruth was very knowledgeable not just about the art on exhibition but also about the best way to move around the museum and get the most from the tour. Highly recommended.
Fetah was amazing! He was knowledgeable and funny we had a great time!
We had the most interesting tour with our guide Radza who was very interesting and knowledgeable on the art and history on all the pieces exhibited at the Louvre. I learned so much on this tour. Her explanations and knowledge on the artists, their different styles gave me so much more appreciation for these masterpieces. I would highly recommend booking a semi-private group where 6 people allows you to interact with your guide and see much more.
Fetah did a nice job of funneling us through the crowds and highlighting works with stories and history. So much to see but we got a good glimpse of most of it with time to circle back and dive deeper.
I book the guide for my wife four our wedding anniversary, a few days before the tour date wedding received an email with the time and meeting point. Upon arrival we was greeted with a friendly smile and asked what we wanted to see in the Louvre we entered the museum without having to wait in any queues we managed to get straight in, hafid was very knowledgeable of the museum and knew the best route for us to take and walked at a pace that everyone was comfortable with he was very knowledgeable about the artwork and sculptures that he showed us and gave us some back story about the pieces. He went through the history of the Louvre and showed us the dungeon and the remains of the fortress it once was which was amazing he made sure that the group was together at all times and nobody got left behind and that we saw everything that we wanted to see I can’t recommend him highly enough it was better than I could have ever imagined it made my wife’s dreams come true of visiting the Louvre.
Good and very detailed experience about the inportant stuff.
Joe was a wonderful tour guide. We had a fabulous time at the Louvre learning so much art in history. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.
Joe was absolutely amazing! His love and passion for art and history really showed with everything that he talked about. He was thorough in explaining all the different sculptures and Paintings and telling stories about the artists. Joe was vocally expressive in the best way that really kept everyone engaged. We are so happy we took this tour and got Joe as our guide. We highly recommend this tour!
Ife was amazing! Very knowledgeable and interesting. Would highly recommend
Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable! Easy meeting spot and just the right length of time
Our tour guide was absolutely amazing! She had so much knowledge it was a blast- the ONLY downside is when you book the semi private tour you don’t get an earpiece and radio to the guide. This made it hard to hear and a bit chaotic. It would have made a huge diffference having that!
Hafid was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable about the Louvre and gave the history and backstory of all of the things that we saw. We had a great time.
Great experience overall! Hafid did a fantastic job giving the history of the different pieces and rooms we saw. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Louvre for the first time.
Avi was absolutely phenomenal! I’ve visited the Louvre several times on my own, without a guide, but this time I decided to book a semi-private tour with my mom, and we were both blown away. Avi was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely funny. He brought the Louvre and its masterpieces to life in a way we never could have experienced on our own. The 2.5 hours absolutely flew by! We learned so much, laughed a lot, and had such a wonderful experience. 10/10...we couldn’t recommend Avi highly enough!
Wonderful art history knowledge
Fateh was an excellent guide. Thoroughly enjoyed this!
This was my 3rd visit to the Louvre and I learned so many new things. The guide Marianne was interesting, passionate and extremely knowledgeable the visit was enhanced with so many back stories on the art works
Marianne was knowledgeable and personable during our group tour. It was after a long day, but she made it well worth the time.
Ruth was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of some of the highlights of the Louvre. We loved the tour and she made it even better!
Joe was a great guide who was very informative and experienced and full of great story telling. Highly recommend!
Maryam was great. She was so passionated, friendly and detailed. I felt like she show me her property. Highly recommended
We had a wonderful tour with Ife! He told wonderful stories about the artwork and was very knowledgeable of the art. The Louvre is an overwhelmingly large museum, but Ife made it feel accessible. We highly recommend this tour.
Claire is very knowledgable and lovely to listen to. She did a very comprehensive visit.
Dunja was exquisite. This was so fun and the guide was so knowledgeable.
Ruth was great! Very educational and efficient! Highly recommend to others!
Our visit to the Louvre Museum was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. What made it even more special was having Anne-Claire as our guide. Anne-Claire was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, warm, and engaging. She provided us with comprehensive and fascinating information about the Louvre’s extraordinary history, its architecture, the masterpieces, and the stories behind the art. Her explanations brought the museum to life and helped us appreciate the incredible details and historical significance that we would otherwise have easily missed. What we appreciated most was her patience, attention to detail, and willingness to answer every question. She guided us smoothly through the museum, made the experience enjoyable for everyone, and provided exceptional support throughout the visit. A huge thank you to Anne-Claire for making our Louvre visit so memorable. Her passion, expertise, and dedication truly made the experience unforgettable. We highly recommend her to anyone visiting the Louvre — she is an exceptional guide and an absolute credit to the experience!
Loved the tour! Our guide was amazing!! 10/10
I had a great experience at the Louvre with my sister. Our tour guide, Dunja, was amazing- she really cared about what we wanted to see and was very knowledgeable about all the art and history. We were in a group of 6 which was great, we got around quickly and weren’t overwhelmed. I would definitely come back for another visit again!
Our guide Liz for our small group tour of the Louvre was great, very personable and highly knowledgeable. The tour broker was The Tour Guy and the company employing Liz was Uncle Sam’s Tours. The tour group size was capped at 6 allowing easier communication with our tour guide Liz. Liz was worldly having studied in multiple countries, including the US and now at the Sorbonne. As such she had firm command of languages, includingEnglish and English idiom, making communication quite easy for the American tourist. Liz nimbly navigated the summer crowds at the museum. This tour hit approximately a dozen of the most iconic works of art in the museum—really just a brief survey. We later took advantage of timed tickets that we had purchased for a Wednesday evening in order to explore further various exhibits that could not be recently encompassed in the introductory guided tour. A cautionary note: the official audio guide that can be rented at the Louvre provides commentary on a seemingly small number of pieces—so it seemed marginally worth the purchase. The organization of this semiprivate tour could be refined —particularly the check in with the guide. Also it was not clear why the tour meeting time was 9:15am rather than earlier in order to avoid more of the early crowds. It also seemed as if we spent 30 to 45 minutes of the entiretour time just navigating security line and check-in now required to the guide. Overall I would recommend this semi-private, small group tour for someone for whom the Louvre is a new experience.
Great guide. Learned a lot very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Flor is one of the best tour person
We had a great tour of the Louvre with Ruth and would definitely recommend her. She was so knowledgeable and knew her stuff! You could tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that made the whole experience so much more interesting. The Louvre is huge and can feel a bit overwhelming, but Ruth made it easy to navigate and pointed out so many things we would have walked straight past on our own. She shared lots of interesting stories and little details that really brought the artworks to life. It was one of the highlights of our time in Paris. Thanks, Ruth, for such a fun and informative tour!
Maryam was an excellent an knowledgeable guide. She answered any questions we had and got us to all the main things to see in the Louvre.
Astrid is a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We had a great time. Highly recommend!
Maryam was an excellent guide. She got us into the Louvre when all the tickets were otherwise sold out and we skipped the lines. She took us through the masterpieces in 2.5 hours. The perfect amount of time to have an overview and then we could decide on our own where to dive deeper. She gave just the right level of depth, with humor sprinkled in. Very knowledgeable. Even my 14 year old enjoyed it. Would highly recommend her.
This was an excellent tour with an excellent guide. We had a total of six people in the group. Hit the highlights in an efficient amount of time.
The man who gave the tour was great. The company is MISLEADING. The only reason I paid $600+ for this tour is because it says Mona Lisa. I even emailed in advance to ask if it provided special access to the Mona Lisa and they replied yes in a way that was misleading. It turns out there was NO SPECIAL SKIP THE LINE ACCESS to the Mona Lisa. I paid $600+ to have a tour guide who walked me to the general public line of the Mona Lisa. I EMAILED IN ADVANCE and they lied. The tour guide was great. The company lied.
The tour was very informative and we went to parts of the Louvre we would not have visited without the guide. We moved around quickly and could not have seen more in the time we were there.
Educational and efficient. Glad we went
The guide, Avi was just excellent. His knowledge of art history was amazing and he kept it light and humorous, made the whole tour very enjoyable as well as informative.
Avi was a truly fantastic guide. Honestly, one of the best guided tours I’ve done in any country.
Marianne was fabulous! She was very intelligent and insightful. There is so much to learn and I would recommend to anyone else!
Victor was an absolutely amazing tour guide. I typically dislike museums and find them boring but he made it super interesting. He was so knowledgeable and shared so many cool facts along with the history of pieces.
Our tour guide was amazing! Lots of great information and had a lot of "inside" knowledge. It wasn't that busy, so seeing the Mona Lisa and other works of art was not crowded and extremely smooth. We walked through in about 2.5 hours. Could stay longer, but it was a great tour.
My wife and I enjoyed the semi-private tour with Fateh very much! He helped us nagvigate the huge museum and huge crowds very efficiently, and we were able to see all of the major pieces (except the Crown Jewels which are still closed). We were able to take some extra photos along the way to be able to look back, and we had free time after the tour to continue to explore the Louvre.
Had a great experience, Fatah was very knowledgeable and his translation to English was easy to understand
100% recommend taking the tour. I would have never known where to start!
