You will meet your guide just outside the Louvre, and then you will waste no time to purchase tickets at the door as we will take care of pre-booking them for you! After security checks you will get straight down to business and start the exploration of the world famous Louvre museum ! Originally built in the 12th century, it has been both a fortress and royal residence over the centuries, and now it provides our expert guide with a multitude of themes on which to focus, such as the Egyptian Gods or the Legend of the Mona Lisa. Your children will be intrigued and entertained by fascinating facts about the history of the museum and the masterpieces it houses. You will be spoilt for choice of works of art on display by Géricault, Canova, Delacroix, Bernini and Michelangelo, to name just a few. Then there are the Crown Jewels, Napoleon III's Apartments, or the most famous exhibit of them all, the Mona Lisa.
This tour was amazing. My kids, 5 & 8, were engaged the entire time. I also completely enjoyed myself, having been to the Louvre on my own once before, I learned so much. In addition to Anna being amazing with our kids, having a pro lead you around this huge maze of a museum is priceless! I could not recommend this tour more.

Very informative and enjoyable tour that efficiently moved our way through the museum in an engaging way.
We were a bigger group (with 6 kids) and we had 2 guides. Helene and Aguette were wonderful! They split up so one could give an adults version of the tour and the other one kept the kids in our group ages 5-9 super engaged with a scavenger type tour. They were both very patient and helped us navigate our strollers to see the Louvre highlights. All of us including the kiddos were able to get close to the Mona Lisa. Highly recommended!
It was a wonderful experience, the tour was divided into an adult component and a children’s component so we can actually enjoy the Louvre as well and learn new things. It was very interactive and our guides, Helene and Agathe were wonderful 🤍

Rosana was an excellent guide. My nine year old daughter, elderly parents, and I all enjoyed the tour. My mother has limited mobility, and we brought her wheelchair with us. Rosana took us on routes within the museum that had lifts. We saved a lot of time because of her familiarity with the museum. It is a huge and overwhelming place. I was glad to have Rosana lead us to the things we wanted to see. I had a list of pieces (the big names, mostly). We saw all of them and more. I know we couldn’t have seen all that we did in three hours, if it wasn’t for Rosana. She had visual aides and fun questions to keep my daughter entertained. I was also pleased with the efficient and friendly communication with the tour operator, Paris Tours with Kids, and the ease with getting in touch with Rosana on the day of the tour. I’m very pleased with our tour and would definitely recommend it.
The only way to do the Louvre with kids is if you have a private guide. We managed to see all the highlights and learn a lot in a short time. Guide was great with engaging my older kids (12/9yo); the 5yo was definitely bored though, not sure there is a way to avoid that.

Great tour with Laurita! Our 7-year-old loved seeing the Louvre, which is something we were afraid was impossible. Laurita kept it interesting and fun with her animated delivery and a constant smile. Regular games and questions also kept her involved. And the adults loved it too! Highly recommend this tour!
Anna did such a wonderful job and made our tour really special. She was great explaining things to my 10 year old grandson and was completely tuned in to his interests. She challenged him with questions and set a great pace for us to see all the things he desired. Highly recommend.

The tour exceeded ALL of my expectations! Agathe was absolutely wonderful, so great with our daughter; she had endless information to share in a kid friendly format and made the paintings even more fun with search games (I.e. can you find all six dogs or the hidden crown?). Best way to see the Louvre for an 8 year old ( and quite frankly the adults too- we enjoyed the information just as much!), Agathe made it such a highlight of our trip- thank you!!!

Our tour guide, Laurita, was absolutely amazing. She was very knowledgeable and kept all of our 3 kids (15, 11, and 9) engaged the entire time. I can't recommend this Louvre Highlights Tour for Kids enough. My husband and I both learned a lot from Laurita as well.
The tour was educational, and the guide engaged our kids (ages 16 and 14). The pace and total time worked well for getting an overview of the Louvre.

Fantastic experience with the kids. The kids participated actively in the tour and questions from the guide. The guide was quizzing them all along the visit making them connect what they learn with what they were seeing. They loved it! (And I was dreading: 2 hrs walking around the museum with the kids?! Who can survive that!). It turns out that kids had fun, and adults as well! We visited early in the morning and Louvre was quite empty which was absolutely exclusive! Thank you to our English speaking guide Rosana!!! Best experience highly recommended!

Today we had a tour with Dominique during our visit to the Louvre. She took care of all of the tickets and picked us up in a good spot while taking us quickly through the line. She was very thoughtful and had learned our kids names well in advance. She was clearly very prepared for giving a tour to young kids. Our boys are 4 and 6 so keeping it interesting for three hours was challenging but she was an expert at the museum and entertaining kids. As adults we also learned a lot of new things about the museum and exhibits while engaging in activities for the kids to make sure they enjoyed the art exhibits and history of the museum itself. She was also very thoughtful in planning out routes for our stroller as the kids get tired and ensuring they had bathroom breaks as needed. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this tour for any parents wanting to see the Louvre with their kids and wanting to make the most out of it. Thanks for everything!
We had a great tour at the Louvre. Our guide, Dominique, was kind and easy to understand, and she had picked some great artworks to show us. Our 10-year-old son, who speaks a little English, also learned a lot of cool stuff, and as the tour went on, his shyness disappeared. The 2 hour tour was perfect time wise, it didn't feel too long or too short. The tour is expensive compared to general admission, but if we hadn't had Dominique to guide us, we would probably gotten lost, it would not have run as smooth as it did, and we would not have seen the "good stuff". So the tour is worth it! Merci 😊
Excellent expérience. Our guide Pauline was very knowledgeable and went into great detail on both the history of the museum and the artwork itself. She kept our kids engaged and came prepared with a treasure hunt to teach them about the art that suited both our nine year old and our thirteen year old. Highly recommend

Our private guide Dominique was especially engaging to our 10 year old. When we were looking at Greek sculptures she taught her details that helped identify which Greek god it was. She made it fun by asking her to see if she could find all the animals in a painting. She asked for our daughter what she thought might be happening in a particular scene, paying attention to the expressions and relationships between characters. She showed her how an innovative painting technique made the viewer feel like the eyes would follow you. We all learnt so much and while we covered just the tip of the iceberg this was one of the most memorable museum trips. We will be back to explore more with another guided tour.

We had clear communication even before our visit. The meeting point was easily found, and our lovely guide wore something we could easily identify from all of the other people around. She was so informative and we saw so much interesting art. She also had so many interesting historical facts. My 12 year old was enthralled. We would do it all over again.
