We had a wonderful experience on our Le Marais Food & Wine Tour with Sherif! Sherif was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He really knows his wine, food, and cheese, but what made the tour especially memorable was how connected he is to the local community. Everywhere we went, you could see the genuine relationships he has with the people and places in the neighborhood. Sherif chose four different stops for us, where we enjoyed wine and cheese, an appetizer, a main dish, and dessert. Each place was unique, with its own small Parisian charm and strong connection to the community. It felt much more personal than simply visiting restaurants and tasting food. One of the best parts of the experience was simply getting to know Sherif and talking with him throughout the tour. His hospitality was top-notch, and by the end, it felt more like spending an afternoon with a local friend than being on a guided tour. Sherif planned a wonderful tour of Le Marais. He taught us so much about the neighborhood and brought us to the most delicious places to eat. He chose delicious food and wine pairings. Sherif is an enthusiastic and interesting guide. He took great effort to choose local shops and restaurants that reflect the flavors and widely varied area of this area of the city. We tasted our way through some amazing local favorites…French cheeses, charcuterie, wine, gratin dauphinois, French onion soup, escargots, croque monsieur, beef bourguignon, and even an incredible sorbet. 🍷🧀🥖🐌 Sherif also took us through some of the most charming parts of Le Marais, including the Marché des Enfants Rouges, Rue des Rosiers in the Jewish Quarter, and Place des Vosges. He shared the history, stories, and little details that we would have completely missed on our own. But honestly, what made the experience unforgettable was Sherif himself. He was warm, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely excited to share his Paris with us. You could tell that he loves his neighborhood and the people in it, and by the end of the day, we felt like we were experiencing Paris with a friend rather than simply taking a tour. You are a fantastic, enthusiastic young man, who catered to us for 3 full hours, of history, as well as the best Parisian culinary experience. I highly recommend this excellent food tour with Sherif. The food, the wines, the atmosphere, and all the insights along the way were exactly what a good food tour should be. Sherif is not only a knowledgeable and entertaining guide, but a true foodie, and I have never met a guide with such deep knowledge and passion for cheese. I had such a lovely evening on this food tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris, especially if you’re staying in or near Le Marais. Achraf was a fantastic host – warm, professional, and very easy to spend time with. From the moment I booked, his communication was reassuring, and as a solo female traveller I felt completely comfortable and at ease throughout. The tour itself was a perfect mix of great food, gentle walking, and really interesting insights into both the neighbourhood and the food we were tasting. It wasn’t just about eating (although the food was incredible!) – it was also about understanding the origin and culture behind it all, which made the experience really rich and meaningful. Food highlights included top-class charcuterie and cheeses, delicious escargot, a beautiful beef bourguignon, and wonderful sweet treats - profiterole and macaron. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and it was really nice to meet some of the local restaurant owners along the way. We also spent time wandering through the streets of Le Marais and around Place des Vosges, which was a lovely way to get a feel for the area. It felt relaxed and unhurried, more like being shown around by someone who genuinely loves the neighbourhood than being on a formal tour. Overall, it was a fantastic introduction to Le Marais and a really enjoyable evening. If you’re considering booking, I would absolutely recommend it – you won’t regret it.

Great private food tour experience with Sherif. The meals were full sized portions so this tour will fed you and you will not be hungry. We went to a number of local places that were off the beaten path and I got a chance to experience less crowds and places I would have never known how to find. The food selections were all delicious and Sherif was a great guide who shared in depth knowledge about the food, venues as well as the areas we walked through to get to each location. I'd highly recommend this tour with Sherif if you want to eat good food, know the history and enjoy yourself.
