Sunny is the best guide ever! The meeting was on time, the communication was always clear, and they helped with every step! I highly recommend it!
Great to see Mont Saint-Michel.
Given the travel time required, there was not enough time at the abbey.
Great tour. Raymond our guide was knowledgeable and personable. Long day as described but totally worh it.
You have to let people know if any program or place they are visiting is closed or canceled. We drove 4 hours to see the Abby n it was closed for a concert n everyone was mad n disappointed
We got there and the abbey was closed for a concert . After a long bus ride I didn’t get to see the reason for my trip. Our guide was surprised too. He said we would get a refund from whoever we booked the trip with .he had called and was told I shiuld let you know
Mont Saint Michel is incredible. The Abbey and village dominate landscape and it is quite impressive to witness. Sonny was our guide and he is very friendly and approachable. You start with a 4 hour trip on a comfortable bus from Paris that includes a 20 minute break. Once there, you have access to the Abbey with an audio guide which is quite interesting. We had roughly 4 hours at the site which felt like enough time to walk the tour and enjoy a sit down lunch and not feel rushed. You end with the ride back that is similar to the departure. Overall, we’d recommend dedicating a day to do this. Sonny provided some great recommendations which we followed and turned out great.
What a nightmare! I got left behind at the gas station (first break) in the middle of France! Ridiculous! Stressed out completely pissed off! Sunni our guide never bothered to do a roll call before leaving! Got on the phone immediate with Viator they were very nice but it was complicated they had to get in touch with the the guide who wasn’t responding to his phone so I sat there for 90 mins until they realized I wasn’t with them. Then the plan was for me to catch a uber ( at their expense) to catch up to the bus that was left waiting for me until I reached them I’m sure EVERYONE on that bus was pissed by the time I finally got there but not one person said a word to me my facial expression was DO MOT COME FOR ME!!! Now of course we would be arriving at the castle extremely late but the did extend our time there for LEAVING ME behind which was good for the group. Viator did a good job as far handling the situation but it took a month to be reimbursed for my my very expensive uber ride ($307.US ) but I just got it back so now it’s over and I insisted they refund me for the tour which they did so that was good, but NEVER will I ever go with THE TOUR GUY name of company they used ever again. Can’t even begin to tell you how upset I was! But in the end they made it right. Just beware!
Location of bus pick up was exact. We were warmly welcomed to the tour by our guide Sunni. He gave us clear instructions about visiting the Mont and when to be back, with a clear warning about our return. We visited during high season, so there were a lot of other tourists, but I would still encourage someone to go. Mont St Michel is a wonderful, historical site that is worth the bus ride and wait in line! We saw the abbaye, had some drinks overlooking the beach, while enjoying the cool breeze (it was 99 degrees in Paris that day - GREAT planning in my part for this tour!). Just a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend Sunni and this tour.
Nice excursion! Bus transportation was very comfortable. Got rest stop on way there and back. Did get a chance to grab food due to early start time. Mont Saint-Michel was stunning. No place like it in the world. If you are able bring towels to wade near in the ocean.
Our guide was very approachable and knowledgable. The drive was very smooth.
Amira was exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging. We have booked several tours with the Tour Guy, and they have all been superb.
Our guide was Amira from The Tour Guy and she was awesome. She was very organized, kept everyone informed and made sure everything was taken care of and for us to focus on enjoying our trip to Mont Saint-Michel. Her historical stories and guide of Normandy and Paris was also very informative and fun and she also shared a lot of tips on best places to enjoy Paris on the way and back (it’s a long ride on the couch bus and she made it enjoyable and also the break stops in the middle was helpful).
Amira was a great tour guide. She was friendly, easy to talk to and very professional. She was very knowledgeable about the area and entertaining. The bus was fantastic and comfortable.
It was a great overall trip! The guide was kind it was a very nice bus and gave plentiful time at the stops and on the trip!
The Tour Guy cancelled our reservation last minute. I had booked excursion months ago. Very disappointed
It was advertised as a “guided tour” but in reality it was mainly just a bus ride with a ticket to the abbey, there was a guide that walked us through the village but we weren’t given any explanation or background about the history of the village, there wasn’t a human guided tour inside the abbey, we were told to download an app and then we listened to the audio guide, which was fairly good. You don’t actually get 4 full hours there, because it takes almost an hour from the parking lot to the shuttle stop and from there to the village then the abbey. You get one bathroom break during the ride (about 2.5 hr into the ride, and you have about 20-30 minutes break there).
The reward of experiencing Mont Saint Michel was well worth the somewhat long bus ride. Imene was a wonderful guide. The coaches used were comfortable and there were rest stops midway in each direction. That said, this trip is not suitable for folks with mobility issues. There are a lot of steep stairs to climb, some without handrails, to your the monastery.
Amira was super nice and super engaging! Very attentive and clear on the instructions and indications. Overall experience was a 10/10!
Our Guide was Amira, she's a fun person. The tour was nice and efficient. It was a nice sunny day, turned out a bit hot at the end. The guide shared the story and background of the Normandy area. Initially I felt the 3.5hr would not be enough but it turned out to be enough as inside the church/castle you won't spend too much time. The bus was new, very well maintained and comfortable.
Best Tour. it’s absolutely worth it. The island looks magical, especially early morning or evening when there are fewer crowds. 🌊🏰
A great tour to Mont Saint Michel with a fantastic guide Amira … Amira is very knowledgeable and always great story teller. Overall it was a great experience.
Long drive, the tour begins at 7 am and back to Paris at 9 pm. 4 hours going and 4 hours back. After 2 hours drive, There was a 15 mins break at a gas station/ truck stop where you can use the bathroom, get drinks and food. Surprisingly, It was extremely clean! The guide asked us to downloaded an app in the phone where you can listen to a little summary about Mont st Michel. Then she gave us an intro of the place. Once we arrived, she rode with us on the free tram and showed us where the steps are to get to the Abby. We then are free on our own. We need to Be back at 3:30pm. We got about 3.5 hours. Luckily, our group was very small and everything went smoothly.
Amira is very good at keeping the group informed, on time and everything planned accordingly. She did not disappoint, and was so kind and easy to talk to about any Paris related questions. She really made the experience extra special! Thank you !!
Amira was very kind and very informative. Extremely patient, recommend her for anyone trying to do a tour
Amira was a great guide! She made the tour enjoyable
This tour was a really wonderful experience. Not only was Mont st Michel itself an incredible place to see and explore, but our tour guide Amira made the whole trip more meaningful for everyone - she gave us lots of relevant historical context, told interesting stories, and even ended the trip with some really good recommendations! The drive was very long, but with enough breaks for everyone to be comfortable and beautiful views the whole time, even that wasn’t too bad. I would definitely recommend this day trip!
Daniel is great guy, perfect day.
Once again Daniel was amazing. Full of knowledge, humor and energy. Second tour with him this week, it was not any.less.impressive. appreciate the hard work and good time Jeff
We did the tour with Daniel and it was very good, the tour was fun and very informative but at the same time we were free to explore the place. Crew was very polite and Daniel specially was awesome. Definitely recommend it!
Excellent trip to a world wonder. Daniel, the Guide for this trip, kept in touch with customers/ tourists to ensure everyone was on time. B Mercedes Benz van was clean and it was a smooth ride to destination and back. Highly recommend. 10/10
Daniel was informative and entertaining. My second tour with Daniel and he was exceptional. Enjoyed the tour immensely.
This trip served as a shuttle to mt st Michel. We received 5 minutes of history, and a tour guide walk to the abbey. We were a smaller group, so they put us in a van with no bathroom and no WiFi. They did stop at the 2 hour mark for a quick bathroom break. We expected more interactive adventure as we have received on other trips. Also, our driver wouldn’t let us have any food or drink on the van because he didn’t want to clean up after us. It was a difficult 4 hour trip each way with all of these rules, and it took away from our comfort.
Great experience. Beautiful day and visit. Raymond, our guide was fantastic!
Easy trip! A helpful guide! Worth the trip with the family!
It was a very good experience; everything worked well, clear starting point, very comfortable and safe bus, and a guide very willing to share and answer questions. While it is scary when they leave you at the entrance of the abbey, everything is clear and works out in the end. The place looks like it is from a story; the photos from the base complement those from the top of the Abbey. What impresses the most is the place and its features.
Very short time, you need to run to visit the whole place
