Touring the Musée d Orsay with Juan Carlos was the best museum experience we have had anywhere. We were expecting the usual canned painting descriptions, the one the guide could give in their sleep. What Juan Carlos delivered was a description of the social, economic and political conditions occurring from the birth of Impressionism through Cubism and beyond. His enthusiasm and knowledge were infectious, we highly recommend him.

Fantastic tour guide and fantastic tour! I was a little reluctant because of the cost and I'm pretty familiar with Impressionist art, but this was my boyfriend's first trip to Paris and I really want him to have a good time and to love the Orsay as much as I do. Our tour guide, Nancy from England, was fantastic! She took us through the lower floors the Orsay, which I normally would have skipped, and I was so impressed! She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and listened when I had things to add--like that Degas lived for 4 months in New Orleans and had an American mother. She was just terrific! Highly recommended!

Sunday was our guide & she did a wonderful in-depth tour of the Musée d’Orsay. She really explained the paintings & how the styles evolved from the Renaissance painters to the Impressionist movement. She engaged us to think about the way the paintings were painted & then explained how they were originally received in the French Salons during their respective eras. I found Sunday to be very knowledgeable, entertaining & enthusiastic during the entire tour. I highly recommend booking this tour!!

We loved our Musee D'Orsay tour with Ivana. She provided a master class in the evolution of art - to and through the impressionist era. Ivana was very engaging and knowledgable. She was so good, she managed to capture the attention of my seemingly emotionless 20 year old step son. An impressive feat! Thank you, Ivana!

Daniel has an impressive knowledge of the key developments in the history of French art leading up to and including the Impressionist period. He offered interesting insights into how historical events influenced and contributed to the artistic elements.

Marcel made this most memorable starting with a "skip the line" easy access into the museum. Great education on the early 19th century and transitioning to the early 20th century with the Impressionists. Understanding how society of the time viewed what was good and acceptable vs. what was forward thinking with the coming of a much different view by the young impressionists. Very interesting and thought provoking.

Our tour guide, Hugo, was absolutely wonderful!!! He was born to teach and share his love of art. With his guidance, the Musée d’Orsay came alive for our family. He knit together the art, history, culture, and architecture in a way that inspired all of us, from the adults (who had seen the museum before but learned so many new things) to the teen who just completed a year long study of art history to the 10 year old for whom all of this was new. Hugo was funny, engaged and energetic. His wonderful personality as he walked us through each area of the museum led this to being the favorite activity in Paris for every member of our family!!!

Dunja was a wonderful guide and walked us through the progression of art over time, and gave us insight of the artists who learned from each other and would repeat a theme in their own interpretation. A great way to experience the museum!

Hugo was funny, intelligent and very educational. Two and a half hours felt like 5 minutes. When the tour ended i wanted to stay for more.

Booked this months ahead of our trip and so naturally I've been looking forward to it and it certainly did not disappoint! Yes, it's not exactly the cheapest but it's definitely worth every penny. Our guide (Elizabeth) was super friendly with the kids (we have a 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter) and the information was just right for all of us. In fact, I love how she built up the stories chronologically and her dramatic antics (in a good way!) help to keep the kids focused on her throughout the tour. Totally recommended for anyone looking to do a family friendly, impressionist 101 tour at the Musee d'Orsay.

I already knew the Orsay museum. But with Florent, I discovered a wonderful new museum that is unforgettable.

Incredible visit to the D'Orsay, SERGIO is an excellent guide, the best we have had. His work is spectacular; his knowledge and interaction make you understand the visit in a different way. He gave us the historical, social, cultural, economic, and political context of the museum and the entire collection. Truly, the highest recommendation to take as many tours as possible with Sergio; he will make every euro worth it.

A wonderful experience with our Lou guide! She was very friendly and cute to our young children. We learned a lot and enjoyed the museum a lot. We highly recommend it.
