Epernay And Reims Champagne Private Day Trip From Paris

Ivan is an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and courteous. He adapted to our schedule per our request and ensured we had a wonderful day.

Pick up was on time. Clean car. Friendly and knowledgeable driver. It’s an all day event but quite comfortable with a private driver.

Our driver, Ivan, was very professional and friendly. The tours of the caves and tastings at Moët et Chandon and Verve Cliquot were entertaining and informative. Stops at Hautvilliers, Eparnay and Reims were unguided. The lunch in Eparnay was not included in the tour.

We had an absolute wonderful day. It was very relaxing and our driver/guide, Alex, was awesome. Experiencing the champagne houses and learning about the champagne process was very interesting. Alex took the time to show us the sites and gave us the history of Reims and Epernay. Alex even showed us where Dom Perignon is buried. Nice bonus. We would not only recommend this experience, but I would highly suggest using Alex as your guide.

Our tour guide, Alex was wonderful and very attentive. He went above and beyond to ensure we see the best of the champagne region. We had a wonderful time taking with him and learning about the champagne region.

We had a wonderful day exploring the Champagne region. Ivan made sure that everything went very smoothly and we were able to fully enjoy the two Champagne houses as well as the beautiful surrounding countryside. Ivan even knew the best spots for photographs! Thanks for a great day!

Our Driver was Amazing. His name was Aslan. He communicated with us the night before for our Hotel pick up. The whole day was perfect and always on time. The champagne houses were so wonderful and very worthwhile. Went to Moët Chandon and Veuve Clicquot.

We booked this just a week ago after another our cancelled on us. The communication and ability to schedule was amazing. Alex communicated timely about pick up from our hotel in Paris and safely drove us to our destinations all day. He was informative about areas new to us. It was great day and great way to see Champagne area! Highly recommend to anyone wishing to do this for a day trip.

This Champagne tour was everything that we wanted! The tour company had great communication and information prior to the tour. Our driver and guide, Alex, was punctual, knowledgeable, respectful, and helpful...and not overly chatty, which we preferred. The tours at Moet and Veuve Cloquet were fantastic. This trip was exactly what we had hoped! Alex picked us up bright and early at 7 o'clock from our hotel. We enjoyed pleasant conversation on our trip to the Champagne region. We were able to visit Moët in the morning, are they lovely lunch at Pommery, and an afternoon tour at Mumm. We never felt rushed and it was great not to have to worry about driving so we can enjoy trip and truly relax. Alex was a terrific guide and timed our trip so we could stop an take pictures along our travels. We were back at our hotel by 6 pm! Would highly recommend this day trip from Paris!

Ivan toured us around Reims and Epernay! What a wonderful day! Visited Tatinger and Möet & Chandon which were amazing Champagne houses! Saw Notre Dame and had a delicious lunch, coffee and macaroons in Epernay. Enjoyed our day!

Our driver was Ivan and he was amazing, super informative, very cordial, spoke English very well, was protective of us to ensure we didn't go to the wrong place, stopped and took pictures at various points with really beautiful backdrops and to top it off he was a good photographer. He never hurried us, never spoke poorly or in a language we didn't understand. Really enjoyed the trip even more because of Ivan. We visited Taittinger and Pommerey. Both had great tours into the caves and explanations of how it's bottled, aged and even some of the original bottles of the first harvests. The tour at Pommerey includes a really deep set of stairs in to the caves and if you're challenged there is an elevator and nd the Pommeray guide made sure my husband had access (two replaced knees) At Taittinger theres about 100 stairs but you go down in levels, it was manageable and although on the way back up you go the whole amount of stairs, my husband made it and all was good. we had lunch in between and had time to visit Notre Dame of Reims and after completing the tour of caves we visited the Maison Pommerey for a tour of the Neo Gothic home. Beautifully restored. It was a wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic private day trip to the Champagne region that couldn’t have been better. The itinerary was perfectly balanced with visits to both a large well known house and a smaller traditional producer. Seeing the contrast between the two was a real highlight, the big house was impressive and polished, while the smaller one was authentic and hands on. Our guide/driver was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and professional. A truly memorable day and highly recommended for anyone wanting to get the most out of their day.

Ivan was wonderful and timely. We loved our Moet and Chandon visit. Lunch at Perrier Joet was lovely and easy. Mumms was also a nice afternoon tour. We enjoyed learning about Dom Perignon and visiting the Reims Notre Dame. We felt we had plenty of time. We were never rushed. The day was well organized.

He smoothly and expertly drove us from Paris to Reims and Epernay, pointing out key features and historical facts for our respective areas. He made our day effortless and enjoyable! We had an incredible day! Ivan our driver and guide made sure we had a perfect day. This was a unique tour in the only one we could find that visited Reims and Epernay in 1 day. They took care of our appointments for champagne tastings, provided water and rest stops, and overall very courteous! 10/10 would reccomend for a stress free way to maximize your day.

Collected from our Hotel in Paris at 7.00am this is a full day tour but entirely worth it. Comfortable 7 people mover and driver, plus Anna, our private guide who drove with us and passed on a wealth of knowledge all things, Parisian, Reims & Epernay. The Reims Cathedral is a magnificent part of the region and France's history with 31 Kings ordained there. The stained glass windows were stunning. We visited Tattinger, Verve Cliqout and Dom Peringon / Moet Chandon to learn and taste their wares. 😋 Finally, we stopped at the church where Dom is entombed which was old and beautiful. We did incurr a small mishap with the car, which was addressed quickly with a fast solution to keep us on track and we missed nothing. Loved it and do recommend. Thankyou 👏🏻🍾🥂

Had a fantastic day out to the champagne region and visited Veuve and Chandon. Our guide Ivan was fantastic, on time, and very informative. If you love Veuve then this a must do. Even recommending us a place to go for dinner on the way back into Paris which was great.

Alex was a great driver and host, went above and beyond! He was so informative, telling us all about the spots we stopped to take in views. We had a tasting and cellar tour at Veuve Clicquot and Moet & Chandon- both were incredible!! Alex was waiting for us at the end of each and sent us to a wonderful lunch in Épernay in between our tours. 100% recommend!

This was an excellently planned tour and very well carried out by a marvelous driver. Ivan was well prepared and very polite and showed us additional places to visit. We were able to taste the best champagnes from the best wineries in the champagne region of France. 5 stars!

Awesome day to the champagne area with Ivan! We seriously recommend this day trip from Paris. It was a beautiful and easy drive. Ivan planned our day perfectly. Three tastings and a delicious lunch. We have been to Paris several times, but never the champagne region. Beautiful and delicious. Great for couples and/or a girls day out. Be sure and ask for Ivan. This is the perfect day trip from Paris if you want to take in some Champagne houses and also see the main historical sites from this area. Reims Cathedral is breathtaking. Alex was my guide for the day and he was excellent. Prompt, well versed in the area and a pleasure to spend the day with. Can’t recommend this enough. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely Amazing, Alex our tour private driver was incredible, super attentive to cover all our needs, we never felt rush and we entertained a great talk during our journey. He picked us up at our hotel at 7:30 am and drove us first to see the Notre Dame Cathedral of Reims very unique experience stepping into 1000 years of historical landmark, then we proceeded to our first cellar Veuve Clicquot to do our 11 am tour with Valeria that was incredible, we learned so much and had a wonderful 4 glasses of different Champagne. Cellars were a little chilly so consider to bring a light jacket for your comfort but is not really necessary. From there we went to visit Hautvillers to see the grave of Dom Perignon and lunch in Epernay. I love an exquisite stop we did to take amazing pictures from the vineyards, absolutely beautiful, Alex was so kind to take family pictures, always going beyond and above to make sure we were having a good time. Then the last part of our tour was to visit at 3 pm Moet et Chandon Cellar with Inoa and had two glasses of different Moet Chandon Champagne, Imperial and Vintage 2016 both incredible! Both cellars tours were for 1.5 hours enough time to learn so much about the history of the house, method of Champenoise, and tasting. Again very impressive tour to cover so much in a day trip, highly recommended. So blessed to enjoy this unforgettable experience, thank you so much Alex looking forward to do more tours in the future with your company!!

Alex took us on the day trip of a lifetime. After he met us at our hotel in Paris with his spotless and extremely comfortable car, we were whisked away for a dream day in the Champagne region. He organised everything, so we didn't have to think of a thing, including a timely coffee stop on the way out of the city. He was so courteous and explained our itinerary for the day, which included two visits to champagne houses in Reims, one family run (Taitinger, his suggestion), and the larger Veuve Cliquot. We loved Taitinger for its excellent tour and wonderful champagne. We also had a visit to the breathtaking cathedral of Reims and Alex recommended a wonderful lunch nearby. He also drove us to Epernay at our request to see the Avenue of Champagne, with a surprise stop on the way to see the Dom Perignon's grave in Hautvillers. It was a wonderful day and exceeded our expectations. Alex is a true gentleman. Patient and attentive, he treated us both to a day we will always remember.

Eric, our guide was punctual in picking us up at our hotel. He had water for us. We departed for the Champagne country. We stopped at a lively area about half way for pictures. Then on to the abbey where Dom Parignon is buried. We never felt rushed. Then to the first Champagne house, Moët. It was the best and our guide there was very knowledgeable. We then had a lovely lunch and on to the second Champagne house. Pommery. After we finished our tour and tasting, Eric took us to the Cathedral in Reims. It was breathtaking! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and can’t praise Eric highly enough!

Absolutely amazing day! My husband I traveled with our 21 year old daughter and one of her friends. Was so nice to have a private car (which was luxurious and comfortable) to pick us up at our hotel and drop us off at the conclusion of our day. Our tour guide David was WONDERFUL!! Knowledge, like, accommodating with our schedule. The history behind Veuve was great and we enjoyed one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten outside at their cafe after our tour. Seeing the grave of Dom Perignon was good to see. We visited Moet which was absolutely luxurious! Go see Napoleon’s hat! We sat outside at Moet and enjoyed caviar for the first time and lovely champagne. We would absolutely book with David and the tour company again! They were so incredible! 5-stars all the way around!

Anna our guide was delightful and knowledgeable on a veriety of subjects. She made the ride to and from interesting. We visited 2 champagne houses. Had tours of the cellers and tastings. It was a great way to experience the champagne region of France.
