Whilst you pay a bit more to go up the Eiffel Tower it was worth it as we had a wonderful guide who guided us through the security checks and ticket barriers with barely any queuing and straight to the top of the tower. Chloe the guide gave us a good and informative presentation of the history of the tower and then we were left to explore the floors on our own. A great balance especially with teenagers!

We booked this the first day in Paris—it was perfect— our guide was great and very knowledgeable. Gave us plenty of time to explore the tower.
Guide was great. There was a lot of waiting. It would’ve been nice to know ahead of time to plan for that as many people had dinner reservations, and such.
Party of 9 enjoyed the tour and summit access. Tour guide was fluent in 5 languages which was impressive. Very thorough and friendly guide.
Our tour was canceled because of weather. We went on Saturday during the day and top floor was sold out. Then upon departure, elevator broke and we had to go down many flights of stairs.
The Guide was brilliant. Excellent English and French speaking guide. Tour was superb, had energy to the talk and was genuinely infused by the talk.
Well organised, avoided queues and short enough to not become boring for kids. Very recommended and the guide was very good
Chloe was awesome! Very interesting stories shared, kept us informed along the way :) office that we met up at was a close walk to the tower.
Everything about the experience was fine and very easy but I had misunderstood and thought I was just buying tickets so went straight into area and tried to get in the lift. I was informed very quickly that I needed to go to the office to pick up the tickets. It was all fine, but we didn’t need a guide or anybody to show us how to get in. If you just want tickets, I would go straight to the box office.
There was not a private elevator. We had to queue like everyone else. It is worth going to the summit. Stunning views
This was the perfect tour if you are looking for just a few interesting facts (not a history lesson) and quick entry to the tower. We booked the 10:15 tour and were up in the summit before it was open to public. Our guide Sydney was funny, knowledgeable and efficient. It was exactly what we were hoping for.
Our tour guide was very professional and gave great insights and instructions. He made sure our group had the best experience. He was very knowledgeable and saved us time not waiting in lines.
Marcela was an excellent guide. Inclusive of everyone, fun with lots of interesting stories. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Easy to organise. Great experience and worth going to the top. Wrap up warm as it was windy despite being sunny.
A great tour of the Eiffel Tower with Chloe. She shared a lot of interesting information about the history of the Eiffel Tower and made sure everyone had a safe and wonderful time. Merci Chloe!
I loved my Eiffel tower visit !! Alex, our guide, paid attention to the group and made sure we entered without any issue. Great sense of humour ! Highy recommend.
Ektanna was a fantastic guide! She was on time, pleasant, funny and had a great understanding of the Eiffel Tower’s history. I highly recommend her as a guide and hope I am spelling her name correctly.
The meeting point is just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and our guide, Ekaette (eh-kyatay), was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a good sense of humor. Security checkpoints are very thorough and takes time as part of the tour time but our guide continued to inform us about the history of the tower through the process. You can bring plastic water bottles but don't bring glass, wine bottles, openers, etc. The views were great, of course, and once the guide gets you to the second platform where you switch from one elevator to another elevator to the summit, she says her goodbyes and her job is done. Tip her there because once you enter the center elevator to the summit, you are free to stay as long as you want. We went at 4:45pm in October so by the time we got to the summit, the sun was near sunset and got some great sunset pictures along with a glass (plastic cone cup, no base) of champagne at the summit bar. Enjoy!
Hypolyte was excellent - knowledgeable and well timed. His English was superb and he connected well with everyone in the group.
The tour was a waste. No time saved in lines, very minimal guide engagement. Ended up costing 100 euros more than just getting tickets on site. Sydney was low energy, lacked engagement and rude when asked to take a photo. To be fair, I don’t think he realized we were part of his tour when this occurred. Highly recommend visiting the tower but save your money for something else!
We booked our Eiffel Tower summit visit through Viator and were scheduled to meet the tour operator at 10:00 am. Unfortunately, due to heavy traffic and ongoing protests in Paris, we were delayed by approximately 30 minutes. We contacted the organisers to explain the situation and kept them updated. Despite our late arrival, the service provider was extremely understanding and kindly accommodated us. A very special thank you to Ms Arnaud, who personally came to meet us and escorted us to the Eiffel Tower, ensuring we did not miss this wonderful experience. Her professionalism, kindness, flexibility and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction were truly exceptional. What could have been a disappointing experience turned into a memorable visit, thanks to her outstanding assistance. We sincerely appreciate this excellent customer service and highly recommend this tour operator. Thank you, Ms Arnaud, for going above and beyond to help us! 🇫🇷🗼❤️
October 2026: Wear layers - it was cold and windy at the top. On the upside - there were few crowds at the site
We were on a 4.45 tour and it all went smoothly. Michaela was a wonderful guide and was obviously very proud of the Eiffel Tower as she should be. It is hard to imagine that something built in 1889 was still functioning as it was designed 137 years later. The views from the top are amazing and the city "lines that emanate from the tower to all points of the city is amazing. If you can set aside the time watching the lights of Paris coming on is a wonderful "add on" to a special tour. Michaela thank you for your knowledge and care.
Our tour guide was excellent. Easy to get into security. Highly recommend especially since there were no more tickets available from the actual site
The staff was great. It was a short walk from the meeting place to the Tower. We arrrived early and waited at an outdoor cafe. There was a lot of walking. Viviews from the tower were magnificent. We had a glass of champagne on the tower (24 Euro per glass).
I bought the summit ticket and thought the champagne was included in the ticket price. It was not-pretty pricey. Also I had to change my date by one day and no refund for the day I needed to cancel. Again very pricey. The summit is worth the price along with skipping the line, but make sure to ask all of your questions ahead of time.
Great experience to ride the lift to top of the Eiffel Tower as it is an amazing structure. Our guide Ekaette gave a great, entertaining introduction to how the tower came to be and guided us to the lifts. All in all a great experience!
Our guide Christophe was excellent, very knowledgeable, excellent language skills, possessed a deep understanding of both the material and its historical context, although the Louvre was very crowded, he navigated us to our best advantage
This tour is a great balance of guided and self-exploration at the top of the Tower. The guide explains the background to construction and ongoing maintenance before guiding the small group to the top (with no time limit for staying at the top). Having a pre-bought ticket reduces hassle of queuing, and our guide Maud was great fun and helped find the right spots for family photos - thank you :-)
The guide was great but the crowds were terrible. The supposed time slots were not maintained so everyone crowded to the top. Not very enjoyable.
Catalina was an amazing tour guide. I would recommend her to any group; adults, kids or anyone else. Enjoy!
Great explanation of tower history guide was well versed and spoke clear English to the tour group at all times
absolutely no reason to take this tour. The guy spoke for five minutes total No advantage in lines really and all the information given was on placards on the wall
Easy to book and worth the time and money! Take an uber to the tour meeting spot to make sure you end up in the right location. Emmanuel was an amazing tour guide! He was accommodating, knowledgeable and fun.
Having a guide is great explains about the tower. Our guide was very knowledgeable and nice took our picture so nice !
The walk from the meet up point wasn’t far from Eiffel Tower. Plenty of information. Tour guide (grandmother) was great. Skipping lines was also a bonus and at the top the view was tremendous. Foods expensive and so is gift shop but was expected. Would definitely recommend
Very informative and well planned. A good pace & easy climbing. Well worth the Money. The view was breathtaking.
To expensive for that tour…not worth the money. It was nice but for way to much money for the tour. …………………………….
Amazing time - our host Marcella was amazing. Very knowledgeable and she had a great energy. We would definitely recommend both her and the tour.
Sydney was a good guide - nice to have someone who knows where to go and how to bypass the queues !!
Firstly I was late about 15 min and they waited for me! Then, Cătălina our tour guide, was wonderful, funny and knew a lot about the history of the Eiffel Tower!
Horrible . We were told to meet at a certain address on the voucher but one hour before the tour, we received a text telling us to meet at a different address. We waited and waited and no guide showed up . After we tried to call many times, finally someone answered and said the text was a mistake . We missed the tour. Horrible experience
I contacted Viator ticket office before our Eiffel Tower visit because the weather forecast was predicting rain. I specifically asked whether it would be possible to change our time or tickets to another day, as I was concerned that the weather would affect the experience. I was told that the tour would go ahead rain or shine, so we decided to keep our booking and attend as planned. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were then informed that access to the summit was not possible due to the weather conditions. This was extremely disappointing, particularly because I had contacted the ticket office beforehand specifically to discuss the forecast and whether changing our booking would be possible. We were not advised that poor weather could result in the summit being closed, therefore not fulfilling their sold ticket. I understand that weather conditions are outside Viator’s control, but I feel the communication could have been much better. Being told simply that the tour would go ahead “rain or shine” gave us the impression that the full experience we had paid for, including the summit, would still be available. Overall, a very disappointing experience and one that could potentially have been avoided with clearer information when I contacted the ticket office beforehand.
Our guide made our trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower the best activity we did in Paris. Facts we found out about made the difference in making it a wonderful experience. Stunning view.
It was my 64th birthday so I wanted to do something special. Our tour guide was very informative. We went all the way to the top and had champagne. You could see all of Paris from the second floor. It was well worth the money. Loved it!
The guide was personable and offered some information we otherwise would not have known. This seemed to be worth the cost due to the "skip the line" part of the experience. A guide was nice, but not necessary. We did meet at their office which was a few blocks away, so be sure to note that location.
Our tour guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. She made the entire process effortless. She enjoys her craft.
The tour guide was very informative spoke great English and was funny and personable. Skipping the line was huge and got us through security very quickly and up on the elevators without any delay.
I would just buy a ticket to see the Eiffel Tower. The guide was not very beneficial. We walked to the Eiffel Tower.
Wonderful tour and wonder tour guide. Very informative and a great opportunity to see the Eiffel Tower at your leisure after the tour.
