Choose an entry time when booking, then meet your host 15 minutes ahead of time at the designated meeting spot and make the short walk over to the Eiffel Tower together. Follow your host onto the priority access elevator. Zip up to the second level, where you can get excellent photo ops and panoramic views of Paris from 375 feet (114 meters) above the ground. Listen to a brief orientation, then you're on your own to wander and take in the sights as you please. Views include the Champ de Mars, Sacré Coeur, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre's iconic pyramid-shaped building. Please note: Summit access is not included on this tour. You are not able to purchase a ticket on the second level to head up on your own.
Skip the tour, save your money and go on your own. The guide gave us a 5-minute presentation- walked us through the line-and left. Buy your own tickets and save a few dollars.
Catalina our tour guide was the best. Knowledgeable and helpful, really enjoyed having her guide us. Note that even with a group you still have to do some waiting. I recommend allowing 3 hours from the time you get to the meeting point to the end. Especially if you want to spend time in be summit and visit the shops in the first floor

Having found tickets on the official Eiffel site were sold out, or at inconvenient times, we happened across this tour, which clearly had availability at the times we wanted to go. In the end, it was a great stroke of luck as we had a wonderful experience with Ekaette. We all met at the tour office, only a very short stroll from the tower, where we were handed out tickets. Then strolled to the tower where she ushered us in, and gave us a lot of information before we went up the first lift. She accompanied us to the 2nd floor before leaving and ensured we were all sure where to go etc. Throughout, Ekaette was full of information, very lively, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, we found out things we had not realised and were very pleased we had not just booked tickets and done things ourselves. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a terrific tour guide, a Nigerian lady nicknamed Grandma. Very informative and a good sense of humor. She took us up to the 2nd floor by elevator and we took the optional extension to the summit. We started the tour at 7:15PM, which was perfect because we saw the tower in the daylight, surrounding sights at dusk, and then in the night. Spectacular views, sights, and overall experience! We also got lucky because they sometimes close the summit because of wind, but they opened for us when the wind died down! The only negative are the crowds. They really pack you into the elevators. This tour was definitely worth it.
I booked with Paris Tours just with an Eiffel Tower Google search, last minute. Maud was our energetic, French tour guide and we enjoyed her historic images and information. We went directly to the head of the line for security and timed tickets. Maud dropped us off on the second level and we were on our own which was fine. Yes, we bought the expensive Champagne at the summit and toasted a beautiful day at the top of the world. Also had a beer at the terrace on the first level, with the glass floor. Very cool.
Well organised experience. Meeting arrangements were very clear and we were well looked after throughout. Chloe, our tour guide, was excellent- charming and informative. She made our transition through the entrance process and up to the second level quick and straightforward. Skipping past the lines was great and it was worth every penny. Would highly recommend!
My tour guide Sydney was great he was funny , informative and I honestly wish the tour was a bit longer because the Eiffel Tower has so much history .

I visited the Eiffel Tower with my family this July. I wasn't aware that you need to buy tickets to the summit well in advance for the peak summer season, so we initially missed out on the official website. After searching online, I came across Viator. Even though the price is more expensive compared to the official Eiffel Tower tickets, it was completely worth it given our situation, and I managed to secure tickets for my whole family. The booking process was very smooth. I actually used the live chat feature on their website, and the tour expert was excellent at explaining all the details. The service overall was pretty good, especially the timely reminders leading up to the day. The tour was well-organised with clear, advance notifications about the meeting point. There was also good follow-up once we arrived at the meeting location. One important tip for other travellers: I was looking for a "Viator" sign at the meeting point, but it is actually a local office with a different name located at 41 Av. de la Bourdonnais, 75007 Paris. Our tour guide, Deborah, was fantastic. She took the time to provide a brief and interesting history of the Eiffel Tower, guided us up to the second floor, and made sure we were well looked after. We had a great experience and highly recommend this tour if you miss out on official tickets!
Easy to find starting location and the tour guide shared interesting things with my kids about the Eiffel Tower. It is a quick tour as they give you free time at the tower afterwards. Made getting tickets easy.
Trop was good. Valid for the money - not. Ticks were about 40€ but we paid close to 100€ to guarantee a spot at a specific time. More money for guaranteed ascent to the top floor fir a given day. Having more time and more options. Would suggest picking the ticks up yourself. The guide was good.

It was a beautiful view but be prepared to be on your feet as soon as you arrive at the tour company’s office. There is no seating while waiting and while being assigned to a group. Everything was handled on the sidewalk. Overall the tour was fine, but I think overpriced for the limited time with the guide.

Easy booking process with clear details of what the tour included. We met at the given address - easy to find with some lovely bars and restaurants nearby. Our tour guide met us outside and gave us our tickets, walked us to the tour and provided us with some facts and information about the Eiffel Tower. We were escorted through security and into the tour, with lots of information along the way. Once on the second floor we were taken to the lift to access the summit (which is the ticket we had booked). We were then left to explore the tower at our leisure with no restrictions on the time we spend there. Highly recommended.

This was a very disappointing experience. Our tour began late as whoever our tour guide was going to be was “stuck at the Effifel Tower” per the employee taking row. This is understandable as I can see with crowds but our tour ended at exactly 1 hr from when it should have started no extra time was given back to us. We lost about 20 to 25 mins of the actual tour. What was the very disappointing part is the guide took us up the elevator took us to 2 places and basically told us what we could see from the 2nd level such as over there is Notre Dame , over hear is this and that. Only about 3 to 4 sentences about the actual Tower, nothing truly about the building of the tower or the man and story behind it. He did speak of the elevators but only that one is by Otis and one by the French and a guest asked what was the difference and the response… electric. As I had been through a tour 2 years ago with Viator I had some knowledge but I had brought other family to learn about the tower. I almost felt that he made some things up and just wasn’t knowledgeable about the tower. It’s possible that he may have been a fill in and his specialty lies elsewhere. I fell like some of my cost should be refunded and I sure be charged only for the cost of skip the line elevator ride only. The description on this tour stated the following “Hear insightful commentary from your guide and learn all about the famous icon before enjoying free time to explore on your own.” This definitely Did Not happen but letting us know we could explore on our own did. So disappointed.

seriousy overcrowded ... even dangerous at points ... it is hard to enjoy anything in the middle of such a mess up there, but the trip and view deserve the burden ... for me, the best part was to see details of the metal structure up-close. Not much information was given during the tour; pretty messy the whole process... starting with the fact that a whole bunch of people waiting for their tours had to meet on the sidewalk...
I wanna start this by saying the guy who was our guide was very nice and very knowledgeable. My issue is we were supposed to be with him for an hour and a half at the Eiffel Tower. By the time we walked over and got to the second floor and heard his information on the three sides of the tower. We were only an hour into what we paid for. He then said you could stay here as long as you want and left us. We were the only Americans in our group, And what upset me is after we left him. He was still with the other people talking to them about different things, but we were not included overall pass on this trip. You can do exactly what he did by yourself for far less.
Warning ⚠️ Do not go to Eiffel tower go to our office. I feel this message should be the very 1st thing mentioned in our confirmation email when we booked our tickets in advance of traveling. We had it all planned out it was our 19th wedding anniversary, we had our children with us. We got the train from London, booked a hotel within walking distance of the Eiffel tower. Sadly we didn't read the small print at the very end of the email telling us to go to a meeting point 5 mins away from the Eiffel tower. By the time we realised it was too late. We were not the only ones to make this mistake. We met an American couple & their child who did the same thing. Money wasted & it wasn't cheep. No refunds. Ripoff. PUT A NOTE AT THE TOP OF CONFIRMATION EMAIL SO THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANOTHER FAMILY.
Tour was just as described. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the Eiffel Tower. Once in the tower we were free to do whatever we want. Highly recommended.
Our guide was excellent and gave us lots of information. We all had a great experience. The tour was very expensive for a family of 7 but we were unable to book summit tickets even when going on line ahead of time.

Awesome experience! We took the eiffel towers tour with access to the top. Emmanuel was an outstanding guide!! Planned it so we would be there for sunset (9:50pm). The view from both levels was amazing.
Hassle free way to make it to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Our guide was every good and whisked us through the security process and easily got on elevators to the first level. The guide left us on our own at that point, but was very easy to get next elevator to the top. Great experience.

I had a problem finding where to meet the guide. The ticket said to meet by the lift. I didn’t receive any more information about where to meet. I was supposed to get an email, but I did not. This was my first time taking a tour in a foreign country, and I made the mistake of thinking there would be someone by the lift, as the ticket said, to help me. There was no one there to tell me where to meet the guide. When my appointment time came around no one called or reached out to me in any way to help or question where I was. When i finally determined where the meeting location was i went there but that was 40 minutes late. There was no one there that knew the tour guide company. There is no refund within 24 hours so I paid over $400 for an experience I did not get. When you pay that much for something you expect more quality and assistance. I had my family running all over the Eiffel Tower trying to find the tour guide, and we ended up getting nothing except frustration and regret. Everyone seems happy to take my money but not happy to make sure I get what I paid for. My recommendation for new travelers is if you book a tour guide make sure you get very specific instructions, because you will be left behind and they will gladly keep your money if you aren’t where you’re supposed to be.
