This was a wonderful tour and what really made it special was Harriet’s incredible knowledge and enthusiasm. It was a small tour with just three of us and it lasted about 3.5 hours. Harriet was wonderfully engaging mixing local history, architecture, culture, general French / France knowledge, and, of course, food and wine. I hadn’t explored this part of Paris much on prior visits but after this tour, I’m likely to find a hotel in this area next time. Highly recommended!

The Eating Europe Food and Wine Tour with Claire in Paris was amazing. Claire’s a parisien and her knowledge of the St. Germane area was awesome. Highly recommend and if you get Claire that is a bonus.

Great morning with Betsy who guided us for food around St Germain area of Paris. Really knowledgeable and passionate about Paris. She’s lived in Paris for a decade and originally from California. Great experiences starting with a croissant and coffee stop followed by savoury crepe, champagne and macaroon stops. Friendly, flexible and well planned and curated around what we wanted. Booked through Eating Europe it’s a great experience.

Betsy was an amazing tour guide. She was very knowledgeable of the area. The food was so good. Our favorite was the chocolate and the pork belly. This tour was the best end of our trip. Cannot see enough good things about it.

We had a fantastic time on an Eating Europe trip through Saint Germain with an excellent guide named Betsy. She was so sweet and so informative that it made the afternoon very special. Not to mention all of the wonderful food that we tasted including an apple tart, chocolate mousse, caviar with sparkling wine, quiche Loraine, pork belly with wine, a few yummy cheeses,and some amazing chocolate candy. My wife and I are both pretty introverted but Betsy was amazing to talk with. She also filled us in on many of the histories of the foods and also the history of the shops themselves. We had an amazing walking food tour through the Saint-Germain area in Paris. Our guide Harriet was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history and culture of the area to life. It was fantastic value for money and such a fun way to explore the neighbourhood while sampling lots of delicious local foods along the way. Highly recommend!

Fabulous tour with Betsy. A fourth tour for me, a second for another family and a first for another family member. Betsy was friendly, professional and fun as she guided us through the various stops. We were with a very nice group, and there were 8 of us including Betsy. We were better informed, and very satisfied after our tour. Our Eating Tour was fabulous thanks to Betsy Johnson, our guide. She is the rare person who has the ability to connect with everyone in her group (we were a fun group of 6). Her know knowledge about the history of food in Paris as we'll as other historical tidbits made this tour a memorable one.

The Saint Germain tour was wonderful. A must for anyone foodie, even if this is not your first visit. Everything was delicious and all from, small family-run shops that we would return to in a heartbeat. Our guide Lily was lovely and made it fun and interesting. Pointing out sights along the way as we made our way from one place to the next. Saint Germain is a gorgeous part of town too, so the tour is a treat for the eyes as well as the belly.

We had the BEST time with our guide, Betsy, on the Saint Germain Eating Europe tour. There were 8 stops with 1 to 4 tastes per stop over about a 3 hour time. Betsy provided history about France/Paris and the neighborhood as we walked which provided more insight to the food and local culture. We were hesitant initially to book with the price point but we would not hesitate to do this tour AGAIN or any other Eating Europe tour!

An outstanding way to spend an afternoon, eating your way around Saint Germain learning about the local history. Betsy was a fabulous guide. This was a highlight of our Paris trip! A must do. Highly recommended!
