Itinerary
Begin your experience at the iconic Sacré-Cœur Basilica, one of Paris's most breathtaking landmarks. Perched atop Montmartre Hill, it offers stunning panoramic views over the city and a chance to admire its remarkable white-stone architecture before continuing your journey through the charming streets of Montmartre.
Place du Tertre is the vibrant heart of Montmartre, famous for its lively square filled with local artists painting and sketching in the open air. Surrounded by charming cafés and historic streets, it captures the timeless bohemian spirit of Paris and offers a glimpse into the neighborhood’s artistic heritage.
La Maison Rose is one of Montmartre’s most charming and photographed spots, instantly recognizable by its soft pink façade and ivy-covered walls. Tucked away on a quiet corner, this historic café has long been a favorite among artists and locals, offering a glimpse into the village-like atmosphere that makes Montmartre so unique.
The Clos Montmartre Vineyard is one of Paris’s best-kept secrets, a small working vineyard hidden in the heart of the city. Tucked away on the slopes of Montmartre, it continues a centuries-old winemaking tradition and offers a rare glimpse into Paris’s rural past, surrounded by quiet charm and unexpected greenery.
The Dalida Statue is a tribute to the beloved French-Italian singer Dalida, who lived in Montmartre and remains an enduring icon of Parisian culture. Located on a quiet square with beautiful views over the city, it is a peaceful and reflective stop that honors her legacy and the artistic spirit of the neighborhood.
Le Passe-Muraille is a famous bronze sculpture tucked into the walls of Montmartre, inspired by a short story by Marcel Aymé. It depicts a man passing through a wall, symbolizing imagination, freedom, and the surreal spirit of Parisian art. Visitors often stop here for a photo and a moment of curiosity in one of Montmartre’s most whimsical corners.
The Moulin de la Galette is one of Montmartre’s most iconic historic windmills, once a popular dance hall frequented by artists such as Renoir. Today, it stands as a beautiful reminder of the area’s bohemian past, surrounded by charming streets that still carry the spirit of old Paris.
Le Bateau-Lavoir is a legendary artistic landmark in Montmartre, known as the birthplace of modern art in Paris. This humble building once hosted famous artists like Picasso and Modigliani, who lived and worked here in the early 20th century. Today, it stands as a symbol of creativity and the rich bohemian history of the neighborhood.
The Wall of Love (Le Mur des Je t’aime) is a unique Montmartre landmark where “I love you” is written in over 250 languages across a deep blue tiled wall. Created by artists Frédéric Baron and Claire Kito, it celebrates love and unity in the heart of Paris and has become one of the neighborhood’s most popular romantic stops.

This was a great visit and tour for my family if adult children. We toured the interior first to beat the crowd and then joined the gude outside. We were so grateful they scheduled the early morning trip that way. Leo was a wonderful guide, very clear and on top of his facts and stories. The renewed Notre Dame is luminous and deserves a visit.
