Really enjoyed our visit to the Orsay Museum. The building itself is beautiful and I loved seeing the famous clock inside. There were so many paintings I recognised from books and online, but seeing them in person was completely different. We spent around 2–3 hours there and could have stayed longer.

We visited Orsay in the afternoon and had a lovely time. The museum is not as overwhelming as the Louvre, so we could actually take our time looking at the artwork. The van Gogh paintings were a highlight for me. Definitely worth visiting of you enjoy art, even if you're not a huge museum person.
This was our first time visiting the Orsay Museum and we really liked it. The collection is impressive, but what I enjoyed most was being able to walk around at our own pace. The building itself is also worth seeing. A very nice experience overall and one of our favourite stops in Paris.
I’m not usually someone who spends hours in museums, but I actually really liked Orsay. There is a good mix of paintings and sculptures, and the old railway station building makes it feel different from other museums in Paris. The big clock area was also really nice for photos.
We almost skipped Orsay because we had already visited the Louvre, but I’m really glad we came. It felt a bit more relaxed and easier to explore. The Impressionist section was my favourite, especially Monet and Renoir. We just took our time walking around and really enjoyed it.
We visited Orsay on a rainy afternoon in Paris and it turned out to be a great choice. The museum is beautiful inside and there was plenty to see without feeling completely overwhelmed. I especially enjoyed the Impressionist paintings. We stayed for about three hours and really enjoyed the visit.
Excellent experience, we had a beautiful time, loved it one more time. Can’t come to Paris without stopping at d’Orsay, Paris would not be Paris without the museum.
Very easy to access the tickets from Viator. The art at the museum is amazing and conversion of the railway station is impressive. Shame that all the cafes were closed and insufficient places to sit for the number of people in the museum.
No skip the line. You have to wait. I’d avoid this group in its entirety because they’re not truthful.
We had tickets for the 9:30 am opening and stood in the queue. The opening pushed to 10am and then we were told there was technical difficulties so the museum works not open until noon, if it even opened at all. It was one of the hottest days in Paris, so there was no way my kids would’ve survived the heat at noon, so we had to give up our dream to go to the museum.
Tickets purchased via the museum was sold out but this booking had ample options! Smooth entry process despite construction
My ticket for this experience was purchased very last minute and was provided to me digitally in a very short time. They were very responsive when I had questions. I would definitely recommend this if you need to ensure entry to the museum for a certain time.
Myself and my daughter arrived on time To the museum only to be told that it had been cancelled due to the hot weather…no refund was given
Excellent experience. Booked last minute, literally 40 min before. Had our tickets available immediately. Very great communications from customer service in regards to where to be and how to access the tickets. Thank you! Highly recommend.
Ticket line was avoided with ordering from Viator. The museum is absolutely amazing. Plan on several hours to see the various galleries. We had lunch at the 5th floor cafe which was very good and reasonably priced with a view. Then go outside on the terrace for a wonderful view of the city.
It was horrible because the crowds were absolutely insane. Hundreds of people (tourists) in every single gallery, immovable in front of the famous paintings while listening to earphones or snapping photos. The worst museum experience of my life. Not to mention the very confusing signage and the complete lack of staff to offer help with directions. You'd think a state museum making tons of money would have the decency to provide dozens of helpful staff -- but they were nowhere to be seen. The current state of this museum for visitors -- beautiful as it is in itself -- is a blot on the name of Paris. (And they make you buy tickets in advance!!) DON'T COME TO THIS MUSEUM DURING SUMMER IF YOU CAN POSSIBLY AVOID IT. I will never do so myself, that's for sure.
Museum was excellent, but cannot emphasize enough to buy tickets before hand from museum directly. Tickets we were sold were way overpriced, meant to be timed but were not. Was charged for a child who are free, what a rip off.
The Mussee was excellent. Monet, Van Gogh, Rodin and many more. Three hours went by quickly. My wife and I are enriched by the beauty of the paintings and sculptures and the story behind them.
If you go down the stairs you can’t stop at the various floors. But if you go down the escalator you can stop at every floor. We learned the hard way.
Timed entry ticket to Musee D’Orsay was not a ticket! Missed out on timed entry. Had to wait 40 min in the rain. BEWARE. The confirmation email says we have a ticket , the museum says it was only a voucher. We called a random number in UNITED ARAM EMIRATES as listed in fine print —dialed over and over. Finally reached someone but it was too late. Lost our time in line.
Great museum. Spent a little over 2 hours exploring the different sections & floors.
M a me gave them our two extra. The “tix” that I saved to my Apple wallet (with a bar code) would not get us in. Luckily i had saved the email from Trip Advisor and the gracious ticket lady at the door navigated through all my email and was able to find what was needed. Don’t delete any emails from Trip Advisor! I opted to buy the audio guide for 6 Euros at the museum. It was nice to have but you can just read the museum’s labels on each object to get the gist. We spent 2.5 hours there and could have spent more. It is a confusing building, but so fun to just explore. Thumbs up!
The ticket process was simple and entry was smooth. The museum itself is beautiful and filled with incredible artworks. Definitely worth visiting while in Paris.
The ticket is marketed as direct ticket, but in fact what you get is not a real ticket. You will have to wait outside 15 mins before the exact time and be let in. With a real ticket, you can just go into the museum at a flexible time (even if you are 30 mins late than the ticket time, you will still be let in). Also if you buy ticket on site, it's only 14 euro for a full adult. I don't know why this sells for 30 euros?
This ticket is a SCAM! We ordered a timed entry at 9:30 for the Museè D’Orsay. they sent an email saying congratulations you have tickets for 930. But be aware this is not the official ticket that will come later. A few hours later, we received an email with our ticket and there was NO TIME ON IT. (And the heading said welcome to the LOUVRE) The ticket appeared to be for all day, but it had no QR code, which is what the museum uses for official tickets. The Museum prioritizes timed tickets over daily passes. We called the company - no answer. We called Trip Advisor and they couldn’t help so we requested a cancel. The only option (not possible because I would get sick) was to get in line an hour before the museum opened and hope that we were only in that line for a few hours and that they let us in, but they could not guarantee it because of a very popular exhibit & being sold out. THAT IS WHY WE PAID EXTRA FOR A TIMED TICKET!! My child lives too far away for us to travel all that way to stand in the freezing cold with no guarantee. TOTAL BAIT & SWITCH SCAM.
I had one question about meeting times, so I reached out to the agency. They replied fast and explained everything clearly. When we arrived, entry was exactly as promised. Great service.
After waiting 1.5 hours in line, was told by museum that tickets were fraudulent. When called company, found out it was a UAE number -- and upon further research, that company is registered in the UAE. Company did not fix up. Requested refund.
I never received the actual tickets. Just a voucher . The site took me around and around and never produced the QR codes. The museum took pity on us and let us in anyway.
THIS IS A SCAM!!!! I paid 160 euros for tickets that did not work. They said we had direct entry into the Musée D’Orsay at 10h30. We arrived 15 minutes before and were told that our tickets did not have any times on them and we would have to wait in the 3-4 hour line, which we did not have time to do. If we had waited in line, we could have paid 14 euros a ticket… so they charged almost 3 times for their fake tickets. This awful company has not responded to my numerous requests for a refund. DO NOT BOOK THIS!!!!
That was a fraud, paid 160 for 4 tickets not accepted at the museum , they didn’t answer on phone calls; no tickets available in their app, although confirmed number of times in both app An’s trip advisor. I request a full refund
Unfortunately did not have a pleasant experience with our passes. When purchased our passes, we were given a specific time of entry into the museum. Unfortunately, the tickets sent to us did not reflect the specified time and we were therefore obligated to stand in a line that did not provide “direct” entry despite the misleading title of this experience. It was regretful that this service was not true to the description and therefore caused distress and issues with admission to the museum.
This is a scam- don't fall for it. They advertise with the words "Direct" and tell you to pick a time but when you go to the d'Orsay you have to go to the general line (not the line with the the set time). The general line is super long. The fact that this company is telling you to pick a time is a scam because this ticket is not for a set time (tickets for a set time have a separate and shorter line). Yet this company is charging more for their tickets. False advertising. Very dishonest.
World Pass Tour’s communication was very clear from the beginning. They provided straightforward instructions and helped answer my questions quickly. The actual entry was effortless and well organized.
It was easy entrance ( last minute availability was fortunate) and fantastic museum to visit. The building itself is awesome to see. Definitely should be on everyone’s Paris itinerary.
Fantastic museum. Got last minute tickets through trip advisor which was great. The museum is amazing and easy to get around
The ticket is not time stamped. You still have to wait in a long line. It would have been better to wait in the line for people without tickets. I had to bug the company for my tickets and service was poor. If online tickets are sold out just go to the museum. The museum itself is wonderful.
Great museum-no complaints. Loved it. The experience was subpar; from the inability to load tickets prior to arrival, to tickets not loading upon arrival, to multiple people from the museum trying to help me figure out why they wouldn’t load, to attempting to contact for help via text and phone (number for contact in case of issues was a cell phone in Dubai), this premuseum experience was a shitshow. Because we were patient and my email showed we had paid for entry, the manager was kind enough to let us in. The only follow up I have received on my request for assistance is this review prompt.
We were initially concerned about visiting the Orsay on a sold-out date, but the Direct to Musée d'Orsay service had tickets available, allowing us to enjoy the museum without any hassle. Their efficiency and reliability ensured we didn't miss out on this incredible experience.
The Musée d'Orsay is a treasure trove of Impressionist art, housed in a stunning former railway station. From Monet to Van Gogh, the collection is breathtaking. The museum's architecture and ambiance add to the charm, making it a must-visit for art enthusiasts in Paris.
We booked our Orsay tickets through World Pass Tour Paris, and their customer service was outstanding. They provided clear instructions and were quick to respond to our queries, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend their services for a smooth museum visit!
This museum is my favorite Paris Museum, so I was excited to actually be in Paris when the Sargent paintings were there. Great museum!!
This is just entry tickets, no tour, no guide. It was not clear the tickets would be sent through Whatsapp the morning of. I randomly happened to see the message and was able to download the tickets while I was in line to enter. You can pay less through other sites and through the museum website. I paid at least twice what the museum would charge and more than other tour operators I checked afterwards so check prices at multiple places before you buy. The museum itself is wonderful and has a large collection.
We paid for tickets and they provided the incorrect date. What waste of time and money, even retrieving the incorrect tickets was a nightmare. We ended up buying new tickets for half the price because the poor woman felt sorry for us. This whole thing is a scam
The museum is wonderful although very crowded. The special exhibition of Sargeant’s work was well-done. I did have a problem retrieving the tickets I purchased through Viator and the staff said this often happens.
It was easy to order and pay. The tickets popped up on my home iPhone screen just like airline boarding passes. My only reason for not giving a 5 is I think if I used the Musee d’Odsey website I would have paid less. The tickets I purchased seemed more expensive than direct from the museum. Otherwise the experience was fine.
This is a great way to get tickets when they were otherwise sold out. Company was easy to work with.
A really excellent museum there is a cafe and free lockers to leave your coat whilst inside. The impressionist works are wonderful the museum was busy but very enjoyable. The director entry tickets made getting in a lot quicker.
Very nice to get to go right in, our queue was only a few minutes. Absolutely loved the museum and the ticket we got from this provider.
Could not access viator pdf - spent 30 minutes trying with no success. Viator sent a new pdf well after we were already somewhere else in paris. We were not the only people experiencing the same thing. Very disappointed. Very poor experience. Will not book thru viator again.
The Musée d’Orsay is stunning. The building itself, once a train station, is beautiful, and the art collection is one of the best in the world. From Degas’ ballerinas to Van Gogh’s self-portraits, every room is filled with masterpieces. Highly recommended for any art lover.
