I booked this experience with my best friend as a gift for her 30th birthday, and it was so wonderful and extremely special. It was such a unique experience and a genuinely personal way to celebrate - and Mona is truly the heart of it all. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome. She is warm, kind, funny, and so easy to connect with that, within the few hours we spent together, it almost felt as though we had gained a new friend. Everything was prepared with so much thought and care, including an amazing spread of delicious food, with dietary requirements and allergies checked beforehand. What I loved most was how Mona helped us discover what we wanted to create. She asked thoughtful questions about us as individuals, but also about our friendship and what we appreciate about each other. This made the experience feel beautifully personal and even a little intimate, without ever being intrusive. Hearing my best friend say such lovely things about me unexpectedly, and being encouraged to reflect on what makes her so special to me, was incredibly wholesome and meaningful. Those conversations became part of our designs, making the finished pieces truly unique to us. Throughout the workshop, Mona guided us with so much patience and absolutely no judgment. There was a lot of creativity, lovely conversation, and just so, so much laughter. I will never forget the fun pictures we took with the magnifying glasses and tools, or simply how warm and joyful the entire experience felt. Mona, thank you for creating such a beautiful memory for us. Your warmth, kindness, humour, and the incredible care you put into every detail made this birthday gift more meaningful than I could have imagined. I would recommend Just Art! While vacationing in Paris, I found this class in L'Officie des spectacles, and signed up immediately. I have been making jewelry in silver and gold for over 20 years, and this looked like a different experience in a different medium. The studio was very inviting and well organized. Although I had signed up for the group class, on that Tuesday in the off season I was the only student - an unexpected bonus. Mona, my instructor, was warm and welcoming. Over the delicious lunch she provided we had an in-depth conversation about my jewelry experience, and what I was hoping to accomplish. Once we started working, she proved to be quite gifted in guiding me to designs that I was very happy with. I designed a stud earring for myself and a pair of drop earrings for my wife. When the finished products arrived, we were both delighted with the elegant results. I would definitely recommend the class to anyone interested in designing a really nice piece of jewelry and then having Mona bring your design to life.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this experience as I’m not very creative and wasn’t sure I’d be able to create something I liked. I was pleasantly surprised by how Mona was able to push us to get to know ourselves further, our strengths, likes and dislikes and use that to create a piece unique to us. I just got my earrings back and I am in love! Highly recommend this experience!

A member of my team at work found this workshop via Viator, and we had a great experience on a rainy Sunday a few weeks ago. I knew very little going in, but kind of assumed we could select beads out of buckets, clamp a few rhinestones together, and be on our merry way. But Mona had other plans. Mona is a master not just of her craft but of PROCESS. Our session began with a lovely meal with wine and some ice breaker-like exercises to get to know each other. (We were a mixed group.) After breaking bread together, we went through a series of group reflections to begin zooming in on what would make a piece of jewelry feel unique to each of us. We discussed inspiration, aspiration, and impact as we began clarifying our visions. Next, Mona led us deftly through sketching, making paper and clay models to try on, and selecting color combinations. Along the way we discussed our different silhouettes, colors, and vibes for our pieces - getting and giving feedback to one another. There was a beautiful sense of camaraderie and community. Mona then took our models and notes and we all departed while she set to work bringing our ephemera to life. She had our finished pieces delivered to our hotel one week later and we were able to wear them home to the US. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to explore their creativity and dip their toe into a new craft under the supervision of a true artist and teacher. It was great for our team to have this opportunity to learn more about what makes each of us “tick” and what each of us responds to aesthetically. Further, Mona is patient, funny, and kind, and the experience was one of the most unique I’ve had in Paris.

When we finally saw the finished products, we were blown away—she nailed our designs to an absolute 'T.' Our group of six, including four kids (ages 10–14), had such a memorable time at Mona’s jewelry-making class in Paris! From the moment we arrived, Mona made us feel completely welcome. We began with a delicious, freshly prepared lunch — the kids especially loved the local fruits and warm, crusty bread. Before diving into the creative part, Mona led us through some fun and thoughtful brainstorming questions. When she asked what people in the room would miss if someone left, my son answered “laughter and humor” — and everyone had to agree! It was such a lovely way to connect and set the tone for the rest of the experience. After that, we moved to the beautiful patio area where everything was perfectly arranged for us to explore sample earrings and necklaces. Mona guided us through designing our own pieces, encouraging everyone’s creativity — even the kids were totally engaged. We received our finished jewelry in September, after some changes in tariffs had made shipping tricky. Mona went the extra mile to make sure our pieces reached us without any additional cost. Her communication was prompt and warm throughout, and her dedication truly stood out. Mona’s studio is cozy, stylish, and inspiring — just like her work. Our handmade pieces are not only beautiful keepsakes but also reminders of a special afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and kindness. Mona is the ultimate host. First, she is just bright and joyful. Second, she offers a beautiful homemade lunch (with wine and beverages) that made us feel as if we were dining at her home. Third, she got to know us. I know I haven’t said anything about the jewelry making yet, but the experience was so much more than that. We learned about each other during the process. The pieces you design are delivered to you many months down the line, which we all thought would be just a great reminder of our Paris experience. Wonderful experience.

Looking to spend some 1 on 1 with my granddaughter who is into art. We arrived at Monas Studio, a small atelier in the Marais. Mona greeted us with her positive energy and we chatted over a lovely lite lunch. Mona showed us her jewelry collection with her unique style. We then tried on a few pieces of jewelry, made a few tweaks of our own, and in a few months our piece will arrive. My granddaughter had a wonderful time and we both have nice memories of our jewelry designing afternoon.

This is a luxury workshop not only because you design a luxury piece, but also because Mona herself is a luxury. She has a personality that makes you find your true self, and makes you question who you are and what you want. The dinner and the conversation with her are invaluable, and her insights about life are marvelous. A great experience to bond with whoever you are going with, and definetly a place we would come back.

This is a really great experience if you are interested in design and/or jewellery. The workshop is in an interesting medieval style space in the heart of the Maria's. The district full of interesting little shops full of lovely and quirky things. Also lots of tempting food shops. Mona who conducts the work shop is great. It's all about your own individual aesthetic and applying that to your individual piece.

This was perhaps the most unique interesting and creative excursion I’ve ever done in my travels. Mona is fantastic and engaging and warm and she will bring the creativity forth in you. Delightful food and wonderful conversation and a chance to meet other people. She draws out the child-like joy of creating even when we think we can’t. It is absolutely a top highlight of my trip to Paris and I highly recommend it. I would do it again the next time I visit. It’s so wonderful to be able to have a great experience in the heart of Paris that isn’t just seeing a tourist site. Treat yourself!

The afternoon I spent with Mona was delightful and insightful. Over delicious cheeses and wines we discussed art, philosophy, creativity, and the creative process. These discussions lead to personal introspection about what’s important to me with regard to various forms of art and how they can help us relate to others. Great mother/daughter experience in air-conditioned comfort on a very hot Paris day even for a tropical Queenslander. Cheese at lunch was to die for and rest of food locally sourced, fresh and, organic. Creative design process with Mona was engaging and unique ending in a memento of Paris that has true meaning and value. Easily accessible venue with no wait time. Personalised experience was value for money.

Surprisingly we learnt things about each other through the design process. Mona honed our creative thought processes (even my non arty daughter) to achieve outcomes that we were very happy with. Lunch was delightful and the cheese to die for! The air conditioning was welcome given the very hot day.

We had an amazing experience at Just Art with Mona on April 21, 2024. First, I’m NOT an arts and crafts person. So I loved it when Mona asked us what our goal was for the jewelry making class. Took me a minute to realize that it was the creativity I craved. And so it happened. Mona lead us through a discovery of colors and shapes, testing styles & lengths of earrings with our faces. We got to draw all the possible shapes we liked, and then cut out and painting a paper versions of our earring. I never thought I would get to a place where I loved what I made. The earrings became more that just earrings, they became a reflection of me. Additionally, we are vegetarians and Mona prepared a Parisian-style vegetarian feast complete with wine to help to loosen the creativity bones. I strongly recommend Just Art! It’s a completely unique experience. Don’t worry about it, just go there, let your troubles fade away, and you might just discover a little bit about yourself in the process. Life changing. Mono is very talented and helped me and my friend design statement jewelry. She enjoy her work so much that she continue to work with us until past midnight. She also ensured that we have taxi to go back.

I really enjoyed my jewelry making session with Mona. She is experienced. She is also a fun figure and motivator. In this session, apart from gaining basic knowledge about how to make jewelry, I also learned something that I think is important, namely growing our ability to be patient in going through the entire process and exploring our creativity. I fully understand that with this 3 hours session, I will not be able to immediately take home the actual products; From my experience attending similar sessions, we only learned how to make basic or dummy products, while the finishing will be done by the organizer. I highly recommend anyone who wants to fill their time with activities that can improve our creativity or artistic skills to take part in creative sessions such as jewelry making with Mona. Mona is very welcoming and super nice. I got the session as a gift from friends. The experience was enjoyable but it was not what I expected which is my fault for not reading the details. I thought it would be a jewelry workshop to learn how to make a piece of jewelry from start to finish and leave with it. Mona explains the process and helps you to come up with and select a design for either a very small non hanging earring or necklace. Mona then makes the jewelry using a kind of resin that she developed and she sends it to you three months later. So although it was interesting and enjoyable you need to be aware that you do not actually make a piece of jewelry and leave with it.

This was such an amazing experience!! I learned so much about jewelry design and creation, while also learning how to just relax and have fun. Can’t recommend this experience enough!

My daughter and I did this class together. It was so much fun designing our own unique pieces. Mona helped us bring out our creative side. Mona served us a light lunch and got to know us before we started designing. During lunch she taught us some fundamentals for jewelry design. We can’t wait to see our pieces in there finished form!

This experience was fabulous! Mona was quite accommodating to my schedule. There was one other lady in my class. We sat and enjoyed a delicious lunch and chatted like we were old friends. Mona gave us the run down of the class, I already knew I would be paying extra because I love dangly earrings and those aren't included... but I was there for it! We worked together, the three of us, to find the best colors and shapes for myself and the other participant. They gave me advice, Mona and I gave the other lady advice. We were able to create and color our pieces on paper, "laminate" them to put them on our ear for an example, then we made clay copies. Now Mona is going to create replicas of the pieces we created in her unique style. She did tell us it takes about 3 months to get the piece, but shipping is included. I cannot wait to get my piece. It's not exactly what I thought I would've have done when I walked in, but I'm really confident and excited with what the three of us came up with for me. I will definitely wear them proudly! This was a great experience! I would do it again! They also both gave me recommendations for my trip based on their experiences. I walked away more than satisfied! Strongly recommend.

Among the many tour options that Paris offers, this was a great option to escape the same tourist routines. The instructor, Mona, is an extremely pleasant and friendly person. The experience was incredible, and it wasn't just limited to knowledge of jewelry, Mona made a point of helping with restaurant tips, and even walked with me to the river Seine to show me the beautiful way to the Effiel tower. Mona was a joy! The experience was totally unexpected, not at all what I imagined and I mean that in the best way possible. It was an exploration in creativity and the process of that creativity. And the dinner was amazing!! I would absolutely recommend this to everyone I know.

Mona and her workshop is a magic balm for weary hearts, kids at heart, and everyone in between! I first stumbled upon the Just Art Paris experience in August 2022. Born and raised in NYC, I began traveling to other metropolis in SEARCH of unforgettable experiences across the globe. (Where else do you go when the Big Apple is your home? None other than Paris!) Prior to the workshop, I had had a few disheartening experiences during the "must dos" - Moulin Rouge, the Louvre, yet I wasn't ready to give up on seeking the magic of Paris that I was told by so many was sure to enchant me. Should I go home early?, I'd questioned, and fired up my computer - there I found a class that was touted as "hands on", "off the beaten path", and "quiet". I IMMEDIATELY booked a slot for 8AM the next day. I am SO glad I held out hope - the very next morning, Mona greeted me with a smile and eggs, and made me feel RIGHT at home, 4000 miles away. That was over a year ago! I have since returned to do another workshop, and honestly, learned JUST as much if not more than I did the first time, about jewelry design, and life at large. No matter your creativity level, design background, or taste, Mona cultivates a unique environment and energy that is simply unforgettable. Mona is a warm, inviting woman who brings out your creativity, even in someone like me, which I don’t consider myself creative at all. Mona made us feel comfortable and confident in our jewelry making skills. Definitely a 5 star event!! Mona is a great host and designer!! She prepared a wonderful dinner. When it came time for designing your jewelry Mona had a series of questions that made you question think about yourself which gave us design ideas that had personal meaning. Mona process provoked ideas so that we were able find a basic theme, make various sketches, color them, try each one on to chose a final design. Interestingly, the design met all of the personal thoughts that Mona had you think of through her questions. We can’t wait to see the final product. Unfortunately the process takes about 3 months to complete.. We realize that art is not an overnight process. UThis class has been one of the highlites of our visit to Paris.

We had the Best experience! I would highly recommend designing jewelry! It was a highlight of our trip! My best friend and I showed up to a gourmet breakfast feast that was made for us! It was so delicious! We all got to know eachother and got comfortable. I am not crafty at all but you don't have to be to do this. Anyone can do it! We were taken step by step and had a blast! Wow what a fantastic afternoon! My daughter (15) and I have come to Paris for a long weekend for some daddy / daughter time and she found this activity for us to do. I was delighted at the prospect of having her attention for a few hours (and a bit nervous about what level of creativity I’d need to have). We started off with a relaxing light lunch and got to know Mona, who is an amazing woman and an example of what you can achieve if you put your mind to it. The jewellery designing was great. Mona put me at ease - my role was to assist the great designer, my daughter. There was a clear method to what we were doing and it was really creative, in a really open and accepting way (even as a boring corporate lawyer I felt involved in the creative process!). Key thing is my daughter had a wonderful experience and the jewellery will hopeful be a great reminder of a Lena afternoon with her dad. I couldn’t recommend this activity more. Thanks Mona!

My partner and I truly enjoyed this very unique experience in Paris and we highly recommend this for anyone who wants to do an activity that is truly out of the ordinary. Mona started off with a delicious lunch she prepared where we got to get to know each other prior to beginning the jewelry design workshop. She is very warm and seemed genuinely curious about getting to know each of us, so we both felt very comfortable. Once the workshop started she made sure each of us were very involved in the design processes and quickly understood each of our strengths so she was able to tailor the experiences with those observations. She gave us freedom to try unusual designs and encouraged all ideas-crazy and all. It was very interesting learning about the design process and getting to apply those skills in real time. It’s a very collaborative process and truly fun between the conversation, hands-on tasks, and the flowing wine. Great bonding or team-building experience as well. We truly enjoyed this and recommend this experience to anyone (“creative” or not). As long as you come in with an open mind and willingness to participate, anyone can let their inner creativity shine here with the guidance of Mona.

This was my second time designing my own luxury jewelry at the Just Art atelier in Paris. Again, an absolutely unforgettable experience! :) The host, Mona is the kindest, most sincere person who really empowers you to use your intuition and inner creativity to design jewelry that best expresses who you are. She has such a streamlined, well thought out process for designing, that takes jewelry beyond just a sparkling accessory to wear... her jewelry has a soul to it. Some of my absolute favorite memories of Paris were created in this atelier... this experience is absolutely worth it.
