Audrey was a knowledgeable and charismatic guide. We were not very familiar with the Marais area of Paris and Audrey was able to share so much of its history. The food selected was delicious and we had a very enjoyable afternoon! Bring your appetite! There’s a lot to savour and enjoy.

Melvin was quite possibly the greatest tour guide I have ever had. His passion was contagious. He answered every question with enthusiasm and had tons of knowledge. He made it so much fun. Melvin, thank you for the greatest tour of my life. Highly recommend!! Ask for MELVIN
Great tour around Le Marais with Sten - highly recommend to anyone wishing to for a local experience with a touch of history and some wonderful tasty bites along the way. Thank you, we loved it!
Daniel was awesome. Highly recommend him!!
super interesting and fun trying lots of food
Kevan was a wealth of knowledge. Nothing better than having a tour guide that grew up in the neighborhood.
My wife and I had a great experience with Audrey on our private food tour. It was our first time to Paris and we did and saw so many things. I would say that our time with Audrey and places she took us may have been the highlight. She knows her history, context, cafes and personally connected with us. You need to go on this tour and ask for Audrey.
The food tour with Daniel was a highlight of our trip to Paris. Not only did we experience wonderful food, but we also learned about the history of the neighborhood and Paris. Daniel was engaging for all of us, even our two teen boys. Book the tour!
Daniel was an energetic and enthusiastic guide full of knowledge regarding French history, culture and food. He was great w the entire family and we were certainly not hungry when the tour was over. Would recommend!
Excellent food tour . Audrey is extremely knowledgeable with the history and culture of France in Paris. It is a pleasure to spend a couple of hours enjoying Parisian food with her.. hopefully in the future, we will do the tour again
Daniel was a great guide. We learned a ton and had some great food! Highly recommend.
Daniel was an amazing guide. We’ve done several tours and this rates as the best by far!
Daniel was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable of the history of Le Marais, as well as the history of the food/restaurants.
Great tour! Loved the combination of classic French fair and food culture. Thank you!
My sister and I signed up for the small group food tour of le Marais but ended up receiving a private tour, which was an unexpected treat! Audrey customized the tour based on our interests and added in historical information and shopping recommendations along the way. She was a fun guide who gave amazing food recommendations, and we had an amazing time! I’d definitely recommend taking a tour with her!
Dan was great. So much fun, very informative, interesting and great food!!!!! Wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
The small group tour was the perfect way to experience the food and area. Everything served was excellent. Nobody left hungry. Tour guide was outstanding.
Thank you Daniel for a wonderful day! Your explanation of French culture was only outdone by the excellent food! Well done!
It was a really fun tour with Audrey! She was charming and knowledgable. We enjoyed walking through the Marais and hearing about the local foods. Will recommend your tours and Audrey to friends visiting Paris.
Daniel was great! Great history lesson while enjoying foods around Marais. Kids had a blast and learned a lot. Thanks!!
Touring with Kevan has been like touring with a friend. A Parisian friend who loved sharing his passion of his hometown, Kevan brought a unique perspective to our tour his knowledge of the area and his anecdotes gave us a feeling like we were part of the community. Not a tour but a night out with a friend.
We thoroughly enjoyed this walking and tasting tour of Le Marais. Our guide, Audrey, was exceptionally knowledgeable, and her English was excellent. She was also incredibly hospitable—especially appreciated on such a hot day. It ended up being a private tour for just our family of 4. Although we were a bit tired from earlier activities, the pacing of the tour struck a perfect balance between walking and resting. Audrey handled the reservations and food orders seamlessly, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the experience. The food was both plentiful and delicious. While the order of tastings was a bit unexpected—with sweets appearing early and mid-tour rather than at the end—it seemed to follow the natural flow of the neighborhood, based on the locations of the shops. One especially thoughtful touch: Audrey offered to snap a photo of us as a family before we wrapped up. With so much of our attention on the incredible food, architecture, and culture around us, we hadn’t taken many group photos—so we really appreciated the gesture.
Audrey provided us an exceptional experience showcasing the gems of the Marais. She kindly satisfied our interest not just in French cuisine, but history and retail, as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better time. Thank you for the memory 🙏
Audrey was a lovely tour guide, very friendly, entertaining and had a great sense of humour. :) My children enjoyed listening to the facts about food, as well as the parts of history she shared with us. Not only was she very personable and easy to get along with, but her selections of must haves to try on the tour were so worth it! :) The quality of food & drinks that we were served were excellent - also discovered the “Diabolo” which might just be my most favourite drink to sip on across the cafés in Paris! It was really nice to be able to go around the Marais with her and get introduced to the neighbourhood. The tour is well worth it if you’re looking to discover the varieties of delicacies that await you in Paris!
We had such a great time today on a private food tour in Marais. Audrey was phenomenal, very sweet and engaging, even with our jet lagged group. We loved every minute, and are hoping to book again with Audrey, but I’m sure you probably in great hands with any guide. Thanks so much, Audrey!
We took the Le Marais food tour on our recent visit to Paris. We felt Daniel was a terrific guide and we were able to enjoy many excellent food tasting around La Marais. Daniel was very friendly, informative and engaging. We had a blast! Thanks Daniel and we would highly recommend the tour and Daniel's guidance.
Audrey was great— very energetic and knowledgeable about the food and culture! She chose a delicious variety of food to try.
Audrey was a good tour guide and is very knowledgeable of downtown Paris. However, it was overpriced. We were told to “come hungry” as we were going to experience lots of food and drink on the tour. The food consisted of: a croissant, a macaroon, a piece of chocolate, charcuterie (with one glass of wine), a puffed pastry and French onion soup (with one glass of red wine). With a price tag of just under $1,000 USD for 6 people we were all disappointed in the tour. We had much higher expectations and much greater meals at that price.
We enjoyed all of the food on our tour and especially liked Ife (or Ifé?) our tour guide. He was very kind and engaging and knew a lot about the food and Le Marais. We loved the first place we went to - a patisserie. The raspberry macaron was the best I’ve ever had and the small caramel cakes were divine. We liked the assortment of cheeses we had and the wine that was paired with it. The onion soup was delicious. And the macarons we had at the end were also delicious.
Great tour. Lots of fun. Guide Audrey was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Food was great. Don't eat first!
Lorraine was our tour guide for the evening and she was delightful and very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed learning about the area and cuisine!
Daniel was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide which extended way beyond the food we tasted. Highly recommended.
Daniel was amazing! He took us on a lovely guided tour through Le Marais in Paris. Very knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed all the food stops and people watching. I would definitely do another tour with him again.
We took the private food tour in La Marais with Daniel and it was just phenomenal. We are a family with 3 kids ages 8-13. First of all the neighborhood and setting is amazing. Beautiful Sunday day helps too. Daniel had the perfect stops, the perfect food, wine for me :), so much historical narrative that was easy to digest for kids as well. We discovered mosaics on the buildings and the teddy bears in the balconies (and why), along with the oldest building in Paris, that one must make bread in order to sell it, the origin of the farmers market, how macarons were a tool for diplomacy and much more. Of course croissants, macarons, onion soup, chocolates and falafel were involved. The day went by so quickly and my kids still talk about it. We would repeat this tour in the next trip. Amazing neighborhood as well with great shopping, art and fashion. Thank you LIV TOURS and Daniel, for giving us these memories.
Our guide was great. But the food was TERRIBLE. It’s insulting to French food to offer what was offered for 500 €. We’ve been in Paris for 5 days it was by far the worst food of our entire trip. You are paying for a guide to walk you into a bakery and order you a croissant. You also are paying to be walked into a cafe and ordered and cheese and charcuterie board. These are all things you can do for yourself. The cafes are cheap and low quality in terms of food and wine. I didn’t even eat at the last stop because the soup was so bad and the wine so cheap. Save your money and for this price do 2 (or more) nice lunches or dinners.
This was a terrific introduction to Le Marais and some of the most iconic French cuisine. Our tour guide, Diane, was very knowledgeable and shared a lot about French culture, along with the food. A great way to spend our first evening in Paris!
The food tour was our favorite thing that we did on our trip. I wish we could have Daniel as our guide for all of our tours. He was so knowledgeable and interesting. He felt like a friend as he walked us from historic spot to delicious food stop. I wish I was a better writer because my family’s enjoyment of Daniel’s tour is not done justice by this description.
Daniel was engaging, knowledgeable and charismatic. We absolutely loved him, he was great would recommend him 100/100!
My family and I just finished a tour with Daniel and he was great. Even after a delayed arrival by us due to New Year's Eve road closures, Daniel was ready to go and made the tour fun for our kids (9 and 10). He was a wealth of knowledge on the area and clearly passionate about the history of this great part of the city. The food we tried was quite tasty too! I would recommend this tour!
What an exceptional way to not only learn to eat as the French do but also get some history of not only Le Marais but also Paris. We booked the semiprivate tour but happened to be lucky enough to only be two. We certainly didn’t go hungry and we were glad that we had chosen the 4:30 pm start time. Daniel was a great guide and a fountain of knowledge but in a warm and friendly way.
Sergio was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! He has such a deep understanding of Paris & French history and was extremely personable. We had a great time with him and will recommend him to all our family and friends! A must do while in Paris!
Daniel was exceptional. Wonderful knowledge of La Marais. Great food, we experienced many unique tastes. The falafel was the best I've ever had. Really great time!
We had an amazing tour with Sergio. He was extremely knowledgeable and so much fun. The stops were well-chosen- the food was incredible, the proprietors were friendly and we learned so much along the way!
Daniele was an incredibly knowledgable guide from the very start of our tour. He knew so much about the history of the food and the architecture of the area to the leadership changes of the Kings and so forth. Whereever we walked, he told us stories and historical facts that we never knew. And all of the food was excellent.
Audrey was amazing! So fun and knowledgeable! You need to come hungry! Fun for all ages. She was so helpful and told us where to go.
Daniel was amazing!!! Super engaging and knowledgeable!!! Lots of fun and very enjoyable!!! Thank you so much. We’ll be back!!!
The entire tour with Daniel was outstanding. Learned a lot about La Marais given the knowledge he had of the area. Highly recommend this food and wine tasting tour with Daniel.
Highly recommend this tour, Sergio was amazing! He is so knowledgable of Parisian culture and history. This was our first trip to Paris, and Sergio took us to so many places we probably wouldn’t have come across on our own. Every place kept getting better! It was a nice change to be off the beaten path and partake in more local experiences. Thank you Sergio!
He was really knowledgeable and had a lot of great facts to share. We stopped into a few places that were off the beaten path and wouldn’t have been on our list. The whole experience was great!
Sergio is the most amazing guide! With his guidance I discovered different aspects of food in Paris. Especially the onion soup was amazing! He is a very knowledgeable and fun guy. I highly recommend taking a tour with him!
