It was a nice short tour, but we got to see many of the top sights of Paris. If you're looking for a pleasant evening it's a great choice.

Itinerary
A royal square designed by architect Gabriel in the 18th century. In 1792, this square was home to a guillotine that took thousands of victims’ lives. In 1836, King Louis Philippe installed the obelisk, a gift from Egypt.
Constructed as a stronghold in the 13th century, it went on to become the French royal residence and was transformed into a museum in 1793. Today, it displays over 35,000 words of art (Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo...). Since 1989, visitors enter through the glass pyramid, designed by architect Ieoh Ming Pei.
The neo-renaissance style Hôtel de Ville in Paris was rebuilt in the 19th century after being burnt down during the Commune rule of 1871. Today, it serves as the Paris City Hall.
What remains of the palace of the first kings of France, the Conciergerie became a prison during the French Revolution.
The ‘cradle’ of the city of Paris where its very first inhabitants (the Parisii) settled in the 3rd century BC.
A jewel of Gothic architecture. Beginning in 1163, construction wasn’t completed until 1350. It was celebrated by Victor Hugo in his famous novel, ‘The Hunchback of Notre-Dame’. We owe the restoration to architect Viollet-Le-Duc who undertook this project in the 19th century.
Formerly the île aux vaches (cow’s island), here you’ll find the most beautiful 16th and 17th century houses, constructed for the most part by architect Le Vau.
The oldest stone bridge in Paris, it was opened in 1606. At its centre, you can see the equestrian statue of King Henri IV, nicknamed Vert Galant (The Green Gallant) because of his many female conquests.
With its façade hinting at its past life as a railway station, constructed in 1900, it today serves as a museum displaying masterpieces of the 19th century, and more precisely, the work of the Impressionists.
Recognisable by its dome adorned in fine gold, it was originally built as a hospital for the war wounded under the reign of Louis XIV. Today, it houses the tomb of Napoleon I and the Musée de l’Armée (Military Museum).
Nicknamed the ‘Iron Lady’, it was designed by engineer Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World Exhibition. A genuine feat of engineering, she stands 324 metres high and weighs in at 10,000 tonnes.
Built for the 1937 World Exhibition, it houses various museums (the Naval Museum, the Museum of French Monuments, the Museum of Man...)

We travelled at night so magical. I do think there were far too many languages of explanation. Any other trip there were usually only two or three and everyone seemed happy.
Had great views of the city seeing many different sights such as the Eiffel Tower
it was a great experience- the only item would have been to hear the audio outside of the boat. but views were wonderful easy to get there and lines were fine !! we were able to pass the Hail Mary coverage for the NFL game which was cool !!
It was great to see all the sites. It was incredible, after 40 yrs to come back and see it all again. It wasn't crowded, so I was able to stand and take pictures without anyone in the way.
Cattle car experience hard to hear public announcement about sites. I did see pretty points of interest including Eiffel Tower however the view from the bridge is 100 times nicer... Not worth the money
This was not a good experience. Due to the fact that there were no time slots; the lines to board the boat were extremely long. We waited in over hour to board: we were not on board in time to see the sparkling of the Eiffel Tour. The commentary on the boat was only heard by those on the outside of the boat. I would think twice about recommending this tour.
Worst experience ever. Long lines and when we finally got close to boarding there were equipment issues and theee was absolutely NO communication. People just standing around ina huge crowd.
A total shambolic mess. Zero indication provided I’m expected wait times, only that the departures are very 30 mins and trip is approximately an hour. Arriving the security are rude and completely unhelpful. The queue snaked up the Seine river back about 300 meters. After a simple enquiry about expected wait times I was told to “get in line”. After I asked agin for expected wait time I was told “I don’t speak English”! Another concern is the boats being rammed to the point of overflow. This is honestly a gold diggers paradise and naive tourists shell out their money while this operator gets them through the profit sausage factory with zero customer service.
We took the night cruise and it was very nice to float down the Sienne River and see Paris at night. The grand finale was the Eiffel Tower lit up & sparkling, amazing! Definitely book this trip!
Was my dream, don’t worry about the seats later on you will be stand to take pictures just next to the Eiffel Tower it beautiful beautiful
It was an interesting trip seeing the sites around Paris along the Seine River. Needed a bandaid for a small cut, but I was sent from one person to another and never received any help. No crew members available to help.
Lovely, smooth, trip. Very entertaining.
We chose this tour because the time worked better with other activities and it’s location of the pick up/drop off locations and were pleased despite not being a full dinner cruise as we initially desired.
Great experience. Also you have flexibility with your ticket purchase, which suited us. Well organised. The bateaux is very sturdy and captained very well. Highly recommend evening tour.
Great cruise. We liked it so much we did it twice! Great break after a few hours on the feet. For our second time, we bought a bottle of rose from the shop at the boarding gate: they provide the glasses. So civilized!
Truly an amazing time! We saw so many incredible sites, including the Effiel tower during golden hour and sunset!!
We booked direct with Bateaux Mouches for €17 each which I thought was decent value. We arrived and queued, on a mid-August Saturday, for no more than 15 minutes. The boats are huge - nearly 1000 passengers (I think about 400 on our trip), most of whom sat on top. We sat outside on one side of the boat for shade on a 39 degree day. It is only an hour, but the scenery is lovely. There is commentary, but the sound quality is appalling and we heard virtually nothing - and I have good hearing! There is nothing on board so we took some water and beers. Well worth it and recommended
My best friend and I really enjoyed this cruise! It was such a beautiful and relaxing way to see Paris from the Seine and take in so many of the famous sights from a different perspective. We got some great views and awesome pics along the way. Definitely a must-do while visiting Paris!
The experience is good but the queues take up to 3 hours and there is not a priority despite the ticket you buy.
A Seine River cruise is one of the best ways to experience Paris from a different perspective. Although our early afternoon departure was a little warm, the breathtaking scenery more than made up for it. From historic landmarks to elegant bridges and beautiful riverside architecture, every moment offered another postcard-worthy view. A relaxing and highly recommended experience, especially if you can catch a morning or sunset departure.
Do not go after 9pm. People want to do this to see the Eiffel Tower lit and sparkling on the hour. My advice is to take the boat trip in the daytime and use a viewing point at night of which there are plenty to experience the Eiffel Tower after dark. Learn from our mistake. The queues are awful regardless of whether you purchase your tickets beforehand or not. We arrived at 9.30 and did not get on a boat until 11pm. It was a very scary experience of people pushing and shoving with no staff control whatsoever. Only saw staff at the turnstile where they pushed people through like cattle. Children crying and upset. I never want to experience anything like this ever again. Shocked by the lack of safeguarding. When we got onto the boat we were lucky to get a seat. You hear nothing of the audio recording. It’s so noisy on the boat and people smoking made it unpleasant. I feel sure (hope) you would have a better daytime experience.
Left me wanting more. Don’t do it! I’ve realized I wanted a nice pleasant experience so I should have paid more and bought something else. Cheap tickets , cheap experience. No lines, no crowd control, everyone was pushing, no workers except two security guards on land and two people on ship who did nothing. Repeat: NO LINES. It’s a free-for-all getting to the game, like cattle to their pen. Secure guards on land had to take turns as they took cigarettes breaks. People screaming, SCREECHING and sing through out the entire ride. It was so loud you couldn’t hear the voice guided recordings. I know people don’t want to hear those but it becomes annoying background sound with everyone talking so loudly. Crowds of people in the parking lot trying to find their bus was a nightmare.
Worse place to visit in Pasis Run away if you read this Bought the ticket without knowing
Very affordable and simple way to see sites along the river Bank we went just before the sunset crowd and it was perfect. Listened to the audio guide on my phone and was very relaxing for one hour and got great photos of the Eiffel Tower. Lots of people on the boat, but everyone was nice.. and very thankful for the low price as it was affordable.
Worthwhile excursion. We couldn't figure out why we had to go to the window at Bateaux Mouches even when we had our tickets in our possession. A little confusing. Other than that, a good cruise.
We went on the 9pm ride in July so we watched the sunset and the Eiffel Tower light up. The cruise was good value for money allowing you see most of the top attractions from the river. Highly recommend this for first timers to Paris
Such a big line it was impossible to wait with 2 little girls ! So we didn’t even go!! I wish that would have been said in the details before I got the tickets !
Although the views were nice on the boat ride, we could not hear any of the commentary or information provided. Too many people were just there to take instagram pictures and lots of people stood the entire way so you couldn’t see around them if you wanted to sit down.
Take the cruise when it’s not super hot. However there is some shade available. In summer lots of sun screen, drinks and a hat is essential. All the major landmarks are covered, which is fantastic.
This is a relaxing way to see Paris from the perspective of the Seine. We were limited on time in our itinerary and this was a way for me to give my daughter an opportunity to see what we missed. We took the cruise before sunset. I liked the flexibility on hoping on to this activity when it fit our schedule during that day.
Avoid! Really chaotic and stressful tour, hoards of people trying to work out what is going on and very few staff to help or give information. Directions were also wrong on the what’s app message I got. . Felt more like an evacuation from a war zone than a pleasure cruise!!! And I felt unsafe with surging crowds and no proper queuing system in place, or staff to guide people. Ships were also rammed and you can tell making money is the only priority rather than giving people a good experience. Wish we had gone with a smaller and more independent operator. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
The line was very long and there were many stressed people wondering if they would be able to use their boat ticket tonight (bookings are NOT made for a particular date/time). Staff were not helpful with information. But the line moves quickly once they start loading a boat and everyone did get on one. Probably a lot less chaotic for daytime cruises - every nighttime boat was full but we saw several in the daytime that had half as many people. Good luck if you are looking for a particular timing; I don’t think it’s possible. We were on a half-past the hour departure and we did catch the hourly Eiffel Tower sparkle but at a distance. However, once we docked, we were able to walk to the tower and catch the next sparkle up close. It’s impossible to hear the audio commentary (English and French) but you can download and listen on your phone.
Great introduction to the Paris sights. Nice, relaxing trip along the Seine and back to the port. Did this first to orient ourselves to Paris.
The lines were so long, we couldn't do the pre-purchased cruise. We arrived with 4 boats remaining and it became clear we would need to wait 90+ minutes and we were incredibly disappointed. We had heard about the convenience of flexibility - but wish we had gone with a different boat company.
Leisurely cruise on the Seine. Information given over intercom system in multiple languages. What you have to remember, is the river sits below ground level, so most of the buildings you see, you see only the upper floors - the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc. Good view of the Eiffel Tower since it is so tall and the Alexander III bridge, which you glide under. Round trip cruise is about 60 - 70 minutes from their departure point.
So much to see and do in this city , where do you begin. I recommend this company to do a one hour boat cruise on the river Siene. The start is just up the river from the Eiffel tower and not under the tower , as that was three times busier. We were on a boat within 10 minutes , no queue and only half a boat of people in June on a day of extreme heat 38 degrees. The seat is comfortable , the Mitsubishi air conditioning unit worked extremely well inside. We chose to sit in the breeze and out of the sun for most of the hour long trip through the notable areas of Paris. We then got off and chose a tub tub ride to Notre Dame for a traditional French Cafe lunch. The boat was mostly clean with plenty of rubbish bins. They have three toilets , so I suggest to go before you go on the boat or you miss the amazing buildings and sights while in a queue ( ladies) . I congratulate this company for giving a brief description of the main historical buildings and recommend going on a Monday when all the museums are closed.
Choose the last boat to see the lights and the Eiffel Tower lightning on the hour. Excellent experience to complete your trip
It was a hot day so waiting in air conditioned room/ shop next to boat was great. Also could sit in cooled area under deck. On top we found area in shade at front where heard the description of what we saw very clearly In multiple languages. Could also wash your hands on board, which was great. Service was very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.
We spent 1 hour on the boat cruising the Seine - from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame. It was a pleasant, comfortable ride and a great way to see the sites!
It was a cold and cloudy day when we took the cruise. We sat up top. Commentary was in English but was hard to understand. It was nice to see all the historical buildings from the water.
Views were STUNNING (you get extremely close to the Eiffel Tower), but other tourists were obnoxious. There should be rules around when people are allowed to stand, take photos, etc., or at least someone with the company enforcing order on the deck. Our cruise had high schoolers running back and forth and screaming, and other adults who blocked our views and even grabbed us to stabilize themselves while rising from their seats to get the “perfect” photo. All of the noise drowned out the facts about the buildings, so we didn’t get much from it other than nice views and a few mediocre pictures.
Our family of 3 enjoyed seeing Paris from the Seine. We took the 9:30pm departure so got to enjoy sunset and see the lights of the city including the Eiffel Tower sparkling at the top of the hour. Just know that there are a lot of people on the boat, many who stand up in front of you to take pictures, and it’s impossible to hear any of the narration. But we found a spot near the front of the boat on the lower level, standing near the rail, and were better able to enjoy our experience.
Evening rides can be crowded. Recommend sitting on port side of boat for first leg of trip, then to starboard.
The trip on the river Seine is good, it's an easy way to see the sights. I had some issues signing into the app with an endless loop between the email link and the login page, but I was able to get my tickets on the website. Note: you can't use the e-tickets, you must queue to go to the ticket office where they print paper tickets.
This is the cheapest way to cruise around seine river and see the beautiful landmarks of Paris. This is worth a visit and i highly suggest. BUT … make sure you accordingly, this summer expect a long queue especially between 7pm to 10:30pm. The place was so packed, there is queue but there are « entitled people « who just cuts in the line and pushes themselves to go in front. They must put a rope or barrier like other major landmarks in the city to avoid a heated argument amongst guests. It was HOT and tooo crowded, as much as you want to be patient, you will not be able to when a group of 6 people decides to go past everyone as they feel they deserve to be infront. When we were there, the group in front of us called out a couple who just cut in with care at all. Good tour Good value But just create a better process for the queue to avoid people fighting
Exelent relaxing enjoyable 1 hour seating Beautiful views
We were lucky to get a sunny day with blue skies. The boarding process was smooth, and there were plenty of seats for everybody. The views were just amazing. Very good experience!
Always have a good experience with this tour. Tour location is easy to access and staff is friendly.
Bought tickets day of with no problem. 20 pounds per person. Worth it!!! We went 8:30-9:30 and enjoyed still seeing the sights in some evening lighting and then ending the cruise with the sunset. Seating was comfortable. Would highly recommend using this line!!!
