Amazing immersion experience The location can be a bit hard to find, but when you enter the cellar you experience its old world charm and ambiance. Our host was very attentive and entertaining. The fusion menu was more than we could eat and plenty to drink.

A very personal dining experience with lovely food and great staff. We had what turned out to be a private dining experience at Chief's restaurant. We loved the food, the stories; around a wonderful treat.

I was looking for an alternative to a traditional food tour and this was exactly what I hoped it would be. A chef-inspired private dinner where the chef interacts with guests to describe each course and the taste experience he hoped guests would have. Four creative, delicious food courses with wine pairings. Fun to meet new people and share a dinner with them. Chef Jean Yves is a wonderful host and a terrific chef - highly recommend!

The food was absolutely outstanding! We had a group of 7 and had a wonderful experience. I would book this again upon my next return. The ambiance couldn’t be better! The chef and his sous chef were extremely communicative and personable.

Food was phenomenal. The chef and sous chef were fantastic. The chef's gastronomic knowledge and exciting personality made the time spent refreshing. Great ambience. The majority of the group stayed an extra hour or more after the experience was over because the chef was so entertaining and the food was so good.

Great Experience with Jean! We had a lovely time and wound up having a combined booking with another couple. The conversation was friendly, the atmosphere quaint, and the food was excellent. It was great listening to how the food was prepared as well as the proper way to enjoy each course. The macaron was out of this world. Definitely would recommend.

A fun dining experience. Very personable and felt special. The dining area felt cozy and inviting. Would be nice to have a choice of 2 items per course instead of just one or even some vegetarian options. For those with mobility issues the only way to get to the dining area is by going down a flight of stairs.

Wow…. This was hands down one of the most amazing experiences I have ever done. I am dreaming of this meal days later. We booked this activity for myself, my 10 year old son and my husband. We all three enjoyed every dish. The flavors were so complex and delicious. The dishes are intricate and the chef walks you through a journey with every dish he prepares and serves. A kind and gracious host who loves what he does. It came through in the atmosphere and the food. I am literally dreaming of that sabayon sauce. One day, I hope to have it again. A once-in-a-lifetime dining experience. Chef Jean Yves provided so much more than an amazing dinner. He provided invaluable insight into dining. He explained each dish and how the ingredients were blended to delight the palate. The meal was unbelievably delicious, but to be invited into the home & heart of a master chef who is so passionate about food, was a unique pleasure.

This was one of the best experiences I have had. Johnny is fabulous at what he does. He explained each dish and the process of making it. Food was amazing with so many new flavors that meshed Asian and French cuisine. Small group made this feel like an intimate dinner party in someone’s home. Highly recommend.

We are glad the chef and the sommelier took the time after each dish were served, and before we dove into it, to explain the origin of each ingredient in the dish, the wine pairing, and the order that each component of the dish are to be eaten. It really enhances the experience, allowing us to really appreciate the complexity of each dish. It was truly an eye opening experience.

This was definitely a highlight of our trip! What an amazing experience because not only was the food superb and satiated our palates, the stories and history behind each course and wine pairing educated us. It was a mind, body, and soulful evening. Master Chef offered us some guessing games re: flavors which was so much fun because it taught us how to taste and where the layers of flavors arrive in our palate. The textures of the food and the combinations were exquisite. We can't wait to come back next time for a cooking class with Master Chef Jean-Ives. His knowledge of ingredients and how they play with each other is solid. He is an artist with the layerings of the flavors, textures & colors. We enjoyed our conversations with him and his sous chef. His passion comes alive in each dish. The food is a fusion of asian and European/French cuisines. You are missing out if you don't go to this one. He also is willing to work with various food challenges that customers may have. Fortunately, we didn't have any and it was an evening we will not forget.

A wonderful evening with one taste sensation after the other. We were two couples that joined three other foodies in the cozy wine cellar of the chefs home. He explained each dish in detail even as far as the order to eat it for the best experience on the palette. We all agreed it was the best evening in Paris!!! We hope to return!

This is a must try and do once you're in Paris! Master Chef Jean's foods and sake was amazingly delicious. Each meal was prepared appealing, tasteful, and cooked perfectly. Each course has a story which is so historically interesting. A must do and you will not regret it!

I got to celebrate my company’s end of the year dinner at Jean-Yves last December. We absolutely loved the event. The food was delicious and the venue was very cozy and intimate. Jean-Yves took time to explain all about the dishes and ingredients he used. Highly recommended

We had the pleasure of dining with Jean Yves in his home. His food was exquisite and we were seated with other guests in his dining room. The service was incredible and he made the dinner approachable, even to our teenagers who joined us. We were able to meet other people from around the world and had a terrific time. I would certainly schedule another dinner there next time we're ever in Paris.

Last October my husband and I had the best time eating, drinking, learning and sharing around Chef Jean-Yves dinner table. Our first trip to Paris was everything we thought it would be and this dinner made it even more memorable. So glad we booked it, money well spent. Finding our way to his home was quite an experience in itself because we took the metro from our hotel in the 7th arrondissement all the way across town at night. His place is in a completely different part of the city with it’s own atmosphere and vibe. As we walked to our destination we stumbled across a cool little bar and decided to pass the time before dinner having a few drinks and chatting up the bartender. Which was a good call because he had lots of inside tips and recommendations that we ended up exploring later on in our trip to Paris. When we arrived at his home, Chef Jean-Yves greeted us at the door and brought us down to his cozy wine cellar dining room where we had a lovely champagne cocktail. Shortly after our arrival we were joined by a nice family and it just so happened, they came from the same area and state as we do. Which was such a lucky coincidence as it allowed for easy conversation and added positively to the experience. Sometimes communal seating can be awkward, but not in our case. Overall, it felt really nice to have a true Parisian experience with this brilliant Chef. His gastronomic knowledge and expertise are in no way pretentious or off putting. He will make you feel like a student and a pampered guest all at the same time with his warm smile and professionalism. The entire meal was delectable from start to finish including the wine pairings. I have to say the dessert was my favorite and that’s huge because I’m not really into sweets but my goodness it was mind blowing. I’ll definitely be back!

In Sept of 2018 we found out about Eat With and booked a dinner in Paris with Chef Jean-Yves. This was our first experience with this and it was fantastic! We hope to enjoy many more in our travels. Chef hosted the dinner at his home and there were 12 of us who dined together. Two couples were from Paris and the rest of us were from the US traveling around France. The food and wine pairings were delicious and the whole experience was a special treat to add to the experience of Paris. I highly recommend Chef Jean-Yves as well as the Eat With experience!

My now-husband and I enjoyed an evening with Jean-Yves and another couple on our last night in Paris during our honeymoon. The "dining cave" was unique and special, and the food was absolutely one of our top meals in Paris. After 4 days of eating duck, we were a little concerned to find that duck was the entree yet again for us, however it ended up being our favorite duck dish of the week and we gladly scarfed it down. It was incredible! We also sincerely enjoyed the chef's story and a description of each dish. This meal comes highly recommended.

After multiple trips to Paris, we were looking for something different to do. What an amazing dining experience with Chef Jean-Yves. Not only was the food outstanding, the surroundings were beautiful and the evening was magical. We are still talking about it, two years later! Our visit was in January, 2018. The drop down won’t let us go to that time.

After many visits to Paris, this time, we were looking for a new dining experience in the city and found chef Jean Yves Vuong via TripAdvisor. The place is cozy, the food was excellent and the service was superb. The chef helped us to be comfortable and enjoyed the meal with strangers, which is what traveling is all about. The experience is unmatched comparing to any other dining experiences we had in the past. We really recommend the chef for anyone who is visiting Paris and would like a different experience from a typical meal.

Fun experience at a great location. As you will be dining with up to 12 other people I guess your experience will depend on your fellow diners but we had good ones!

From the welcome cocktail to the macaron dessert, Jean-Yves made us travel from Asia to Europe telling the story behind each dish and ingredient. The table was beautifully decorated and we had the best time and conversations with the other guests. If you want a taste of fusion, multiculturality, and style in Paris, this is your place!
