We wanted to have an interactive and slower pace tour of the area and this was a huge success. Everyone in our group, from 11 years old to 76 enjoyed seeing the places and the experience of the area. It was very hot so having the slower pace was helpful for our group. We definitley recommend and would do a similar tour with this company again!

Dorene was an amazing tour guide! My kids loved the whole experience — from the food to the history and culture. Dorene gave us the glimpse of real Paris, beyond the touristy attractions.
I took this tour with my partner and our two kids (ages 8 and 4). We had a lovely time on this tour! Our guide, Dorine, was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood! The adults loved learning about the architecture and trying the food. The kids were very engaged in the scavenger/treasure hunt part. The distance was manageable for our kids, though the little one did want to be carried sometimes. We are so grateful to Dorine for making our first Paris activity such a memorable one! We would highly recommend this tour! Merci beaucoup!
Dorine did an excellent job of helping us relax and really enjoy the tour. We arrived, expecting to hit the ground running. Instead, we met at a very Parisien cafe for a coffee and croissant and enjoyed getting to know the other guests, people watching, etc. we then started the walk and she gave us great info on the area before stopping again at a Boulangerie for one of the best quiche Lorraine’s I’ve ever had and some orange juice. We then stopped at another cafe to have some wine and receive a little overview of French wine culture and traditions. The tour continued again with several stops, culminating in our goodbyes at the Sacre Cour basilica. Overall, a great, relaxing way to enjoy Montmarte.
This a really wonderful way to explore Montmartre with children (mine are 9 and 11). Our tour guide, Dorine, was outstanding- very informative and great with kids. The food tastings were so much fun. Highly recommend!
We highly recommend this tour! It was great fun experiencing Montmartre as a local with Dorine. She shared lots of tidbits about French food, habits, and culture that we never would have known if not for this tour with her. We are so grateful to her for sharing French culture with us!! It completely enriched our visit to Paris.
Julia was incredible - she was instantly warm from the start, making both us and our kids feel comfortable. We explored the area of Montmarte and Julia was gracious about moving at the kids speed (even if there were a few meltdowns from them). She knew the right stops to go to and was so knowledgable about the area and history - she even had an interactive game for our daughter to complete, which kept her engaged. She was so open and kind and gave us so much of her time, even giving us recommendations for later and taking wonderful photos of us to remember the trip by. 10 out of 10 recommend!
We had THE BEST tour with Julia, would highly recommend. The food was amazing and generous, and Julia was very engaging. We have two boys 11 and 13 who were super grateful of the scavenger hunt she had planned. Would highly recommend for a family.
Julia created a very memorable experience for all of us. She was super accommodating and we all had a wonderful time. This was a tour that was good for both adults and kids alike. We learned some of the history of Montmartre and tried some foods we’ve never had before but will never forget! We highly recommend taking her tour.
This was probably our kids favorite tour over the entire two week trip we took. Julia did a perfect job mixing food, history and giving us a sense of the neighborhood. Collecting food for a picnic at many local small shops was great, and fun game at the end let the kids get very involved. Would highly recommend for adults or families with kids- Julia was great!
We did this tour as a family of four including two girls 6 and 8 years old. Julia was our guide and she was amazing. We had a great time walking around the Montmartre area and sampling some delicious food from the neighborhood. She had some activities planned for the kids in the form of a puzzle which my daughters loved. We visited multiples shops in the area, historic landmarks and learned about the history of the neighborhood. This was a great tour and Julia was amazing. We greatly recommend this tour! Thank you Julia!
Julia was an amazing guide! There were nine of us - 4 adults, 3 teenagers, 2 kids. She made the entire experience educational and FUN! Definitely recommend booking this guided yummy food tour of a great neighborhood in Paris!
Julia was so lovely and the tour was fantastic for our family. Our girls really enjoyed the tour and it was great to go on a walking/ food tour with children in mind. If you want to do something a bit different with your fanily, I would highly recommend this tour.
Wonderful trip… we only wished we had done the tour the first day we were in Paris. She is Parisian and is very knowledgeable about all things Paris. Julia is professional and personal, willing to answer any questions. Highly recommend!!
It was wonderful. Me and my daughter we absolutely loved it. One of those unique tours where it can be enjoyable for both kids and parents.
We had a wonderful experience with Julia! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and had a good, balanced approach to the tour. The experience was like walking around town with a friend while enjoying good conversation. Good pace, not rushed at all, and she managed to keep even the young ones engaged and interested with the activities she included. Highly recommended. Thank you, Julia!
Julia was amazing. She was so kind, thoughtful and a wealth of knowledge. The tour had a mix of food and culture. Highly recommend.
I thought the tour guide was great and so was the food. She was very nice and gave interesting information. The cheese we ate with bread tasted good and was something I have never tried before. I, as a kid, recommend this tour.
JULIA is amazing. She is an Exemplary tour guide. Kiddos stayed engaged through out the tour and our walk in the back streets. We drank Good wine and ate authentic cheeses. Sad to see her leave at the end of this tour Sherry (mum) and Andy (dad) Two kiddos
Julia is like meeting a relative. So warm and inviting! The tour took us to areas of Montmartre we would not otherwise see.. She was good with the children and the games kept them interrested. It includes lots and is good value!
We were lucky to be the only two participants so Rita could adjust our tour entirely to my and my daughters requests. Rita’s explanations about history, architecture, culture, art were interesting. For my daughter the treasure hunt game was the most interesting part. (We finished in record time, how many minutes is a secret ;-) The meeting point is well chosen for visitors arriving by metro, just across the road from the subway exit (line no 12) in the coffee shop across the road. After a simple breakfast (croissant and coffee) we started the tour, in between there was a second coffee break (good also for a beer or aperitif) and at the end a small meal for lunch. Rita was also attentive to hygiene having hand sanitizer at hand and reminded us as well of pickpockets in crowded areas. We didn’t climb on the tower of Sacre coeur because the waiting line was too long (c. 1 hour). After Rita’s tour we strolled around for another hour, before we returned to the city centre.
This is an amazing walk through Montmartre with stops at local restaurants, cute secret stories about the places we visited and hidden spots in Montmartre. Julia is a local and we can feel it!
Extremely fun tour with the lovely Julia! It felt like a good friend showing me around the neighbourhood. She has great stories and cool off-tourists
I had such a great time doing this tour with our guide Julia. Very knowledgable, she gaves us a lot of tips on where to go and what to do next. We really enjoyed the escape game part. I recommend to do this a the begining of your trip so you know what to do next !
Amazing walking tour around the city, our guide show us stores and places we wouldn’t thought of going ourself. We learn a lot of Paris history and we even enjoy some little snacks. I enjoy this experience a lot !
Loved this guided tour of Montmartre! I recommend it to anyone unfamiliar with the area and its rich, surprising history and colorful buildings and boutiques! The format is very original, for a couple of hours you really feel like a Parisian walking around in this cute area, you get to learn more about the culture, the architecture, and the famous people who made Montmartre so famous. It's the best to discover nice shops where actual Parisian people get their tasty food and cute objects to decor their homes!
One of the highlights of our last trip to Paris! We were looking for an authentic experience with a local guide and foremost off the beaten track, wanted to avoid a tourist trap… Julia showed us Montmartre in a very personal and fun way, it def felt enlightening and so refreshing! It was such a pleasure to meet you Julia, thank you for your energy and your vivid spirit. Be sure we’ll be in touch next time we visit Paris and we can’t wait to discover another neighborhood with you to feel more Parisian than ever. Cheers from Soho, K&M
Most amazing time, it was incredibly fun! The tour was filled with lively animations that made the experience so much more enjoyable than a classic guided tour. From interactive exhibits to engaging activities, every moment was infused with excitement and laughter. Our guide Julia was exceptionally friendly and made the experience even better with her warmth and humor. Exploring Montmartre iconic landmarks and hidden gems in such a dynamic way was an absolute blast. It's a memory I'll treasure forever , thank you !
What a great family experience! A tour that goes off the tourist trail. The children were delighted. We recommend !
We had a great time discovering the neighborhood with Julia, who told us its secrets. As comfortable in English as in French, dynamic, we couldn't have dreamed of a better time for this moment playing tourist in Paris. Many thanks Julia, we will remember it for a long time!
Many thanks to Julia who showed us the 9th arrondissement in a different light! We were able to learn more about the history of the neighborhood, little anecdotes and have fun at the local merchants! We had a great time and met some great people, thank you again!

Julia introduced us to the Montmartre district in its intimacy with superb addresses. She is charming and full of humor. I highly recommend his tour.
The guided tour with Julia through the streets of Montmartre was a unique experience! We explore the typical architecture of Paris and the anecdotes about the neighborhood. We tasted delicious cheeses, and the clue game was great. And to top it all off, we ended up at a restaurant on the Place du Tertre where the food and wine was excellent! I would do it again with friends without hesitation.
Finally an anti-cliché tour in Paris! It's simple; even as a Parisian I rediscovered the Montmartre district with taste, humor and culture 🤗 Run there!
An absolutely brilliant experience and one that I recommend ++ to anyone who wants to discover Paris (Montmartre) differently, whether with family, friends, or even alone. Julia is a candy, with communicative energy. Lots of sharing of culinary, historical and architectural anecdotes. How to really enjoy a visit accompanied by a resident who loves her neighborhood. THANKS !
Great tour! I discovered lots of new places in Montmartre that I didn’t know. Thank you to the guide for your enthusiasm and sharing
Excellent time with a super nice group! Julia, our guide, lives in the neighborhood and knows it like the back of her hand, which made the visit truly authentic. Far from the classic tour where we are only told historical facts, Julia knew how to fill us with History while sharing surprising anecdotes because they are specific to the habits of the locals in the neighborhood. Thanks Julia!
Great experience! Julia knows how to help us discover a Paris different from those of classic tours with clear explanations and authentic encounters. I recommend !
Julia is a passionate guide and she transmits this love of the city to us during a great walk in the neighborhood. The different spots on the route are well chosen and relevant, and the little anecdotes are a real joy. Little extra, she’s a real Parisian. Chic and good advice… I recommend!
