Ze Hotel

The surrounding area is great and you are so close to other areas of Paris with the subway. I would say that they could add a coffee machine to the room or some other similar solution instead of charging us just for some coffee.

A good hotel. Friendly staff. The rooms are small but cosy. Nice decor. Good mattresses and pillows, slept well. Decent toiletries in the bathroom. The view is typical Parisian houses. There is something charming about it. The rooms are locked with a key, not a card, which also adds to the charm. Excellent location, everything is nearby, all the sights are within walking distance, we didn't even use public transport. Right next to the hotel, there are several chic boulangeries, wine and cheese shops, a supermarket, laundromats, and a scattering of restaurants a little further up towards Montmartre. Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur are a 15-minute walk away.

What a wonderful experience! Mr Kamrl, Rose and one other gentleman were FANTASTIC! Took my mother on a trip to Pais and it felt like we were staying with Family. We arrived super early and right away offered breakfast. Both Gentlemen were very attentive. Ms. Rose arrived and quickly got us settled in. Breakfast was as excellent. It is in a great spot. 15 min walk to the Eurostar and easy to get too Would definitely book again if I had the chance.

We´ve made a last minute booking directly on the website of the hotel. We booked a superior room since this was for the birthday of my wive and we wanted to have a more spacious room. When we arrived we were given a room which was not as big as the superior rooms shown on the pictures of their website. I asked if they have a bigger one but was told that they are fully booked. We only stayed two nights and there was anyhow not a lot we could have done. When we checked out I had the chance to talk to the hotel manager. He showed me a cheaper "club room" which was the same size as the room we had. Other rooms which were open since they were cleaned were significantly bigger. The manager just said our room is for Paris already a big size room and for them it is a superior room. No appology, no refund offered for the difference we paid compared to a club room. No shower curtain, so you have to take care you don´t flood the bathroom. On the positive side: Location is good, check-out at 11:00 is convenient, rooms were clean.
