Chose this hostel because it seemed to be worth the extra money due to cool branding. Unfortunately branding is the only cool thing about it. Service is bad, in particular due to the morning shifts - not hospitable and slow. Every day there is a line to check out and check in, on my checkout day we had to ask housekeeping staff to call in someone to the reception because there were 8 people waiting for 20 minutes. The staff on the evening shifts were way more pleasant and helpful, big thanks to them! The beds are fine, though the room amenities were not matching the price - the locker squeaked like crazy, impossible to open without waking everyone up. The door to the bathroom won’t lock unless you pull really hard on it. Common areas are cute, furniture is stylish, but the elevator is rather slow. The area is not really Montmartre, it’s really close to it though. Can’t say it’s my favourite part of Paris where I stayed, but it was rather convenient. All in all - would not recommend, either go for something cheaper that will match the expectations or look for alternatives.

I stayed one night and it was perfect for that. The rooms were clean and perfectly suited for a quick stop over. 24/7 reception and the card access made it feel safe as a solo traveller. I had only one other lady in our 4 bed dorm so it was quiet. Great location being a short walk from Gare du Nord. Downside being bag storage cost, so I had to carry my stuff all day after checkout.
What a pleasant surprise. This is a new hostel and the fittings are all new. The bedrooms (dorms) are very clean and beds comfortable. Air-conditioning was great. Bathroom inside the dorms. I have travelled extensively in hostels all over the world and this place is right up there in every quality. The €8 breakfast was good value. The staff were very helpful and kind. I would recommend this place without hesitation. 5 Stars
I had an amazing stay at this hotel in France. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and community-driven. It genuinely feels like a home away from home. A special mention to Kevin, who was outstanding. He helped me with local knowledge about French history, great places to visit, and useful things to be aware of as a tourist. His care, attention, and professionalism made a real difference. Another staff member with dreadlocks and an athletic build was also excellent. I did not get his name, but he was smart, attentive, supportive, and clearly listens carefully to guests. A few of the newer team members still have room to grow, but that is completely understandable with a new brand. With the right training and leadership, this hotel has serious potential. As someone who has owned large companies, I can honestly say staff like Kevin and the other gentleman are the type of people you treat like gold. They create real value for the business. I wish this hotel great success. They are building something special, not just a hotel, but a place with heart, community, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended. Kind regards Tyson
Warning: Do Not Stay Here! My biggest regret was selecting this hostel. I have no idea how they got such high ratings on google. First of all, the place is filthy. The beds are fine but the carpets in the entry and stairwells and hallways are disgusting. It’s obviously a construction zone and not ready to receive guests. This should be made very clear at the time of booking. Second, and most importantly, this is not a safe neighbourhood. There are a lot of drug users and homeless outside- it didn’t feel safe even at 10 am. I’ve been to Paris several times and it was my mistake not to check carefully the neighbourhood. All of the women I stayed with in the dorm had the same feeling of discomfort. Finally the check in staff are very disinterested and unwelcoming, except Louise who is very kind. This place doesn’t have an uplifting vibe and for 50 euro a night go somewhere else. Go to Generator or Jo and Joe or literally any other hostel. Photos attached.
