Loved: * The concept of transforming a chateau with such intellectual history into a hotel. * Beautiful double-height ceilings and exceptional interior design throughout the hotel and rooms. * Excellent quality bedding, mattresses, robes, etc. * Housekeeping and support teams are outstanding. * The spa is beautiful, and the employees there are incredibly warm and kind. * Most of the staff are exceptional and genuinely contribute to a wonderful experience. Could improve: * Reception: Most reception staff are lovely, but one employee’s attitude toward international guests feels dismissive and, at times, unnecessarily suspicious. Unfortunately, we witnessed several interactions that felt inappropriate and even influenced the behavior of her younger colleagues who seemed eager to help. One person at the front desk can unfortunately affect the entire perception of a hotel and undermine the considerable effort the owners and management have invested. * The night room-service menu could be improved. * Aside from the beautiful Library, the hotel could further develop its lounge and/ or tea café space to offer guests more inviting places to relax informally throughout the day. The place already feels a bit secluded * On arrival around midday with luggage, no one came outside to assist until we walked in ourselves. This has apparently been mentioned before and may reflect limited staffing. Overall, there is so much to admire here. With some attention to the front-desk culture and staffing, this could be a truly exceptional property.

Saint James Paris exceeded my expectations on every level and is, without question, one of my favorite luxury hotel stays in Paris to date! Having stayed at many luxury properties around the world, I can confidently say the level of hospitality here is truly exceptional. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and remarkably attentive. I was consistently greeted with genuine smiles, and what impressed me most was their incredible attention to detail they remembered my room number each time I returned and made every interaction feel personal and effortless. The concierge team was outstanding. They thoughtfully arranged appointments, coordinated our visit to Versailles for the yearly ball, and handled every detail of our itinerary with professionalism and care. Their recommendations and seamless planning made our trip even more memorable. I was also celebrating my birthday during my stay, and the beautiful chocolate cake, handwritten note, and champagne waiting in my room were such a thoughtful and meaningful surprise. It's those personal touches that transform a great hotel into an unforgettable one. The property itself is stunning. The décor is elegant, timeless, and beautifully curated, creating a sense of classic Parisian luxury. Its location is another highlight peacefully tucked away from the bustle of the city while still conveniently close to the Champs-Élysées and many of Paris's most iconic attractions. From the impeccable service and exceptional staff to the beautiful rooms, wonderful cocktails, and breathtaking property, every detail of my stay was executed with care. Thank you to the entire Saint James Paris team for making my visit so special. I look forward to returning!

We absolutely adored our stay at St James Paris. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with genuine warmth and made to feel very special. The team anticipates your every need, creating an experience that feels effortless from start to finish. The grounds are absolutely stunning… you feel as though you’re staying on your own private Parisian estate. However, step outside the gates and you’re just moments from cafés, restaurants, shopping, and the Eiffel Tower. The design is everything you’d hope for: elegant, timeless, and unmistakably Parisian chic. Our room was stunning.. we loved the decor and views into the gardens. Obsessed with the hydrangeas. What truly sets St James Paris apart; however, is its exceptional hospitality. Every member of the team was attentive, gracious, and made our stay unforgettable. A special thank you to Marc, who went above and beyond with his kindness and made us feel incredibly welcome 🥰 The handwritten note and beautiful cake waiting for us to celebrate our honeymoon were such thoughtful touches. Simply amazing. We can’t wait to return!

A truly unforgettable experience in what has to be considered one of the absolute best hotels in Paris. The property and the furnishings itself stands alone as a piece of art, but what truly makes this experience special is the thoughtful and impeccable service; the staff at Saint James are attentive to details you wouldn't even consider, going the extra mile to make your stay special. A particular shout out to Marc, who made our honeymoon feel even more special. My only regret is not spending more time there!
