The best thing about the hotel is its great location; halal restaurants and eateries are within walking distance. There is a great marketplace for vegetables and fruits a few steps away, where you can get fresh fruits and veggies. The receptionist is very courteous and very responsive. I do not like the isolated toilet from the bathroom, but the rest facilities are quite okay.

I had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Relais de Lyon By Malone. Everything was excellent from the moment I arrived. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the service was outstanding. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the hotel has a great location. It is very close to the metro, restaurants, cafés and the lively Bastille area, which made it very easy to explore Paris and enjoy the evenings. I especially appreciated the warm atmosphere and the helpfulness of the staff. I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris! Thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality! 🇫🇷❤️
The location is good, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. However, there is one major problem: items were stolen from my room by the housekeeping staff. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel. Guests should be able to leave their belongings in their rooms without worrying about them being taken while the room is being cleaned. I hope the hotel management takes this issue seriously and investigates what happened.
Whilst the hotel needs some updating I can not speak highly enough of the exceptional service. In particular the genuine kindness shown by Arnaud, Jamel and Isobel whilst we were visiting a family member at the nearby hospital was without doubt the best experience I have received at any hotel. Their support was personal and greatly appreciated.
This hotel is not 4 star, barely makes 3 stars. The room was clean and tidy but the hallway, balcony off the room and the rooftop was dirty (weeds growing everywhere). Not well maintained. For the price I paid for 3 nights, I was very disappointed. The breakfast is served in the basement in a room with no windows. I felt like I was staying in a hostel. Basic food and the waiter was not helpful when I asked if they had olive oil or extra bread. He was grumpy! Beatrice on reception is lovely and very friendly and happy to accommodate any requests. She did upgrade me to a better room when I told her my friend was unable to make the trip and I had already paid for two people. The hotel is in a good location, close to 2 metros and walking distance to le marais and Bastille areas which I loved.
