Wow, the negative reviews were right - this property has seen better days and does not feel luxurious or like a five star property at all. Majestic Spa and Hotel is a glorified run down serviced apartment operator. The rooms including everything from the carpeting to the beds and pillows to the furniture look like they haven't been updated since the 1950's, the hotel staff seem pained every time you make any request of them, unfriendly, don't greet you at all, no bellman at the door to assist with luggage, rooms don't have heat, spa and gym are two star at best, certainly not five star. Nothing about this property is five star. It is perhaps a three star that had seen better days. Pay attention to the small details in the photos listed for this property then go to TripAdvisor and look at the photos from hotel guests and compare. These guys enhanced the photos of the rooms and Spa to make this property look like a 5 star and then they give you a three star at best product. Buyer beware, book elsewhere if you want luxury. The only silver lining of this property and the only reason I'd recommend it is the rooms are spacious but also keep in mind the reviews noting the noise issues with the rooms on the street facing the Peninsula Hotel loading dock directly across from the entrance to the Majestic make it completely unworth staying here if you're booked for that side of the building as it was genuinely a cacophony of large trucks idling and backing up all day there.

Stayed here for a family vacation and couldn’t have been happy. Staff was welcoming from the moment you pull up. They made you feel right at home. They were helpful in making suggestions and booking any reservations we wanted. The rooms were quite spacious, and were very clean. Location hard to beat with a great central location. Definitely would stay again
This is our go-to Paris hotel. They have a great selection of rooms from simple bedrooms to expansive multi-bedroom suites that can easily accommodate a larger family. The breakfast and service are both excellent and the location can't be beat.
We debated where to stay for a long time and ultimately decided to stay at the Majestic Hotel for the location in the Champs Elysees and also due to the fact that it is a sister hotel of the Hotel Regina, which we heard a lot about. This hotel is located behind the Peninsula and in walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants on the Champs Elysees. The room that we got was huge compared to other Paris hotel rooms. The carpet had seen better days but the bathroom was fully updated and very modern and the hotel was very clean and pristine. The indoor spa pool was open and was also a bonus when we booked this hotel. We love a spa but didn't get to use it because we were busy sightseeing and shopping. We did use the pool and had it all to ourselves. I didn't realize it is less than 60 rooms when I booked it. It had a small feeling but the staff were so nice. Only issue is we had a room overlooking the front of the hotel and it was on a surprisingly quiet street during the day but at night, it was surprisingly loud. Someone said they experienced noise and I thought it may have been specific to their stay but you must know if you stay facing the front of this property, you will overlook the back of the Peninsula and maybe some other company and may encounter loud noise at night. That was the one downfall. We enjoyed the daily cleanings, the location and the chocolates left on our pillows.
A perfect hotel for a weekend in Paris. This is the second time my sister and I have stayed at the Majestic, and we will definitely be returning. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located right off the Champs Elysée, and ideal for everything we needed to do. During our previous stay, we had booked a suite which was spacious and beautifully designed. This time, we opted for a classic room but were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a superior room. Once again, it was very spacious, with a huge bathroom. The only downside was that the pool was exceptionally closed, but this was not a major issue — we still enjoyed the hammam and will try the pool next time. The room was also right next to the lift so a little noisy but overall we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend the Majestic.
