Overall, I had a pleasant stay, with several positive aspects. Stéphane at the reception was particularly energetic, friendly, and welcoming. I also appreciated the thoughtful little touches, such as the drink voucher, bottled water, and chocolate provided in the room. The decoration is fun, original, and gives the hotel a unique personality. The room service was also good and satisfactory. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The Wi-Fi was not working properly during my stay. The location of the kettle in the room was not very convenient, and some areas would benefit from better maintenance. Finally, I experienced some skin irritation while staying in the room, which was quite uncomfortable. It might be worth checking the bedding and overall cleanliness of the room to prevent this kind of issue in the future.

Review of Moxy Hotel Paris Our stay at the Moxy Hotel Paris was overall a pleasant experience. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and they were perfectly suitable for our three-night stay. We would especially like to mention Jean at the front desk, who was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. His professionalism made a very positive impression. Unfortunately, our experience during check-out was disappointing and affected our overall impression of the hotel. The front desk staff member assisting us on the day of our departure, a tall woman with an afro hairstyle, was not welcoming and came across as irritated and unprofessional. There was no greeting or farewell, and our questions regarding the late check-out process were handled in a very unfriendly manner. The situation concerned the late check-out charge and whether it could be deducted from the deposit. We paid the additional amount and only requested the receipt afterward so that we could review the charges. While we were checking the details on the receipt, we were repeatedly interrupted, even though we were simply trying to verify the information. The interaction felt unnecessarily tense and left us feeling uncomfortable as guests. A front desk team represents the first and last impression of a hotel, and friendliness, patience, and professionalism are essential in this role. It is unfortunate that one negative interaction had such a significant impact on an otherwise enjoyable stay. We hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and provides additional guidance to ensure that all guests receive the same level of welcoming and professional service. Due to this check-out experience, we can only give the hotel 3 stars.
What a HORRIBLE experience. I’ve stayed here before and it was decent. THIS time the circumstances were completely different. Paris is in a heat wave & the AC was out for the whole building, the hallways were super hot and humid. I would start sweating while walking to my room. Sleeping without blankets was the only viable option. Not only was the AC out, but the TVs were out as well. When I pointed this out to the front desk he explained that there was a “tech issue” with the whole building similar to the ac (what a nightmare) I was told it would be up and running around 2am and I’m still waking up to a broken TV. The unfortunate part is that it almost seems like the staff didn’t really care. They didn’t offer me anything but a cold drink. The rooms were only partially cleaned but very dusty which I was willing to look past however the other two issues were unacceptable. I would not recommend here.
BETTER SERVICE THAN A 5-STAR HOTEL ! Wow! I have been staying in Paris a lot the past few years and I’m usually in these more older boutique hotels that are very provisions with the heavy carpet and the musty smell and a nice charm but being from America and being fatigued from traveling, I just wanted something more reliable and I love the Marriott brand. The great thing about Marriott is you are guaranteed to have a similar standardized experience no matter where you go so I knew that just checking into this. Hotel would be a little bit more of a reassurance of comfort. I was pretty tired from the plane ride, but as soon as I walked into the lobby, it was full of light. There is so much color. . It’s really really beautifully done and the atmosphere is super happy. There are a diverse group of travelers from all around the world young old from every country. The Front Desk staff was SO NICE and calm even with a busy lobby. There is a large number of staff which says a lot. They do care. and actually they were doing karaoke as I checked in on this big screen in the lobby and they gave me welcome drink, it was really really nice. It’s been a heat wave here so the air-conditioning was kind of maxed out, but they told me if my room wasn’t cold enough they would try to find a better situation. In fact my room was pretty warm and the lady at the front desk actually offered to go up and personally check all of the available rooms, she also offered me a free drink while waited —-. She came back down and gave me the key for a new room. I couldn’t believe the happy and welcoming service. It’s so rare these days the room is really really clean. It’s very beautiful. It’s very new. It has everything. It’s a really good price as well. I will definitely be back the area that it is in is definitely familiar sort of like a New York vibe there’s a lot happening but this place feels like a Haven and an oasis in between that throughout the day there’s constantly water being service, a beautiful bright colorful Jim that has an American standard equipment and everyone from the bartending staff to the housekeeping the Front Desk, the security they are all exceptional. I will definitely be back. I’m so grateful for this awesome experience and glad that I found this hotel. It’s really a happy place and the beds are super comfortable. Incredible staff. Great vibes. Great gym. Professional and just an overall incredible value !!!! Great job to the staff and team who put this hotel together !
Great hotel overall. It’s a bit outside the city center, but the location is still very convenient – there’s a metro station right in front of the hotel with a direct connection to Opéra, so getting around Paris is easy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We even received a small welcome drink – nothing fancy, but a nice touch. At check-in, a €100 deposit is required via credit card, which is clearly stated in advance. I checked out on Sunday and had the deposit refunded the same evening, so everything worked smoothly without any issues. The hotel itself is modern and stylish, with a creative room design. The common areas downstairs are also nicely done and a good place to relax. Overall, a really pleasant stay and definitely a good choice for Paris.
