The hotel seems to check all the boxes of what a Boutique Hotel should be. Welcoming and friendly stay, well designed and charming rooms, and an overall warm feel to this hotel. My wife and I stayed here during the late June 2026 heat wave and the Air conditioning in the room was A+. Would definitely book again!
Great location, quiet street, neat Parc Monceau, bathrooms have 2 sinks which is odd but kind of nice if 2 people. Good breakfast, fresh orange juice you make yourself. Air conditioning works. Elevator works. In France!
We requested a late check-out until 2:00 PM and even agreed to pay extra. Despite this, we were repeatedly called and pressured to leave earlier. The receptionist was a young girl: unprofessional, rude, and created unnecessary stress. People can sometimes feel uncomfortable or face unexpected situations before checking out. This is normal—sometimes there may be delays, or things may take a bit longer than expected. It is simply part of being human. There is no need to exaggerate the situation or speak in a disrespectful manner such as, “What are you doing? Why are you not finished packing?” This kind of behavior is unacceptable.She was trying to enter our room with force even that we said “ you cannot”. There is no reason to treat guests with such disrespect or to disturb their privacy. We have stayed in many hotels before and never experienced such behavior. Very disappointing. We would not stay here again.
I will begin with a shout out to the amazing staff at Relais Monceau especially Isaac: you were all kind and incredible 🫂❤️ This hotel exceeded my expectations. Fate brought me here and it was an amazing stay. I asked for a room with toilet and shower in the same area and they gladly helped me with that. The hotel is in a quiet area, 20 minutes walk from the Opera, and an easy walk to Montmartre too. The best thing about the room was the wooden shutters/blinds. They kept the sunlight out and helped with my sleep. The breakfast was amazing: scrambled eggs, bacon and assorted meat, cheese, and fresh fruit and vegetables (cucumber and tomatoes). So simple and perfectly executed. Will most likely be back again. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality and above all: thanks for the memories 🫰❤️
The hotel is located in a quiet area, and you can find everything you need nearby, which is convenient. However, the room was old, not in great condition, and not very clean. Unfortunately, the staff wasn’t very helpful either. Overall, the location is good, but the service and room quality need improvement.
