Le Matissia

We booked Matissia for three nights. The pictures looked like it was a decent sized apartment for two people that are not a couple. So using both sleeping options. Unfortunately it was a bedroom, sofa- living room, bathroom and kitchen squeezed into a tiny space. The bedroom is cute but the person sleeping in the kitchen will have a very noisy time. You can hear every word from your neighbors, the walls are paper thin. The fridge hums loudly on and off. The worst part however was the smell which made sleeping with closed windows (super loud traffic and construction) impossible because it smelled like a dirty toilet. After complaining they managed to improve that. The bedding is cheapest quality. There is a big folded Ikea table behind the sofa which I am curious how they intend to place it anywhere in the room. Basically I have to say it is a bit of a rip off and false advertising and I would not recommend to book. I will certainly never return. I have stayed in many places in Paris including an Airbnb for 60 Euros the night which was worlds better than this. And 10am check out? Are you for real? Very underwhelming overall. P.s The reservation was under my friend’s name. Saying that you don’t have the name in your records underneath every bad review is pathetic. Besides you took a picture of my I.D card so this is just a straight up lie but perfectly reflects the scammy mentality.
