I first stayed at this hotel in March 2023 and experienced issues with both the air conditioning and the elevator. Despite reporting the problem and having maintenance check the room, the cooling never improved and we were eventually provided with an electric fan. ( Very disappointing)! Before booking again in May 2026, I contacted the hotel by email to ask whether these issues had been resolved. I was assured that everything had been fixed, which, together with the hotel’s excellent location, was the main reason I decided to give it a second chance. Unfortunately, I encountered the same problems again. The room was uncomfortably warm, the air conditioning was ineffective, and we were once again provided with an electric fan. Housekeeping and room cleanliness were also below expectations, and the elevator broke down twice during our stay, forcing us to use the stairs to and from the fifth floor. I am very disappointed.

Top floor room with small kitchen. Nicely appointed. The TV was oddly small. The bed was very comfortable. Temperature control was terrible, partly because of the top floor and partly because….Europe. Good forbid you control the temperature of your living space. Staff was friendly and helpful.
We stayed 3 nights in the premier suite. We found it really nice, detailed, clean, nice view and long balcony ! Room is quite little but having the living room was nice! Cleaning service is really good. Its not the place if u are searching for really luxury and parisian style, its perfect if u want to stay in a more reserved place. Location is amazing. Compared to other place having a balcony like this, the price is good ! I recomend it if u are interested in nice view, balcony and location. Not if u want luxury style. We enjoyed it!
My second long term stay. JR Suite is more than ample for 1-2 adults (400 sq ft), kitchen with all appliances [no baking oven] to prepare simple meals and small loads laundry. Stellar staff, complete professionals and certainly know the hospitality business. Front and back of house make you feel like you're their only guest. If you're looking for a quiet place to rest at the end of the day of sightseeing, with some history built in, this is your place. Can't wait to return for my third stay.
A wonderful 21-night stay at La Clef Louvre Paris. The Exclusive Suite was spacious, quiet, and perfectly suited for a longer visit. The location is incredible, just steps away from the Louvre and Palais Garnier. What truly made the difference, however, was the staff. They were absolutely wonderful, incredibly helpful, and very kind throughout my entire stay. Traveling with my dog, Eduard, was also very easy and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and peaceful atmosphere.
