Hotel Marais Grands Boulevards

Good location for visiting the sights of Paris, especially the Louvre and Notre Dame. Service was friendly and hospitality warm. Our room was fairly basic, but comfortable, with a good bed. There was a lot of traffic and street noise, but this is to be expected in central Paris. The price was probably typical of this hotel in this location I would think.

We just got back from 4 night stay at Marais Grands Boulevards hotel and I was very impressed with this hotel! The staff were very nice and helpful! Our room was small but it was really nice! Our bed linens were soft and good quality. The towels were soft and replenished everyday. The lighting in the bathroom was excellent for putting on make-up. There was a Nespresso coffee machine in our room. One of my favorite things was a refillable glass water bottle that you could refill downstairs with cold water, or mineral water. This was a real nice touch! The location was perfect in a nice and at night quieter neighborhood. It was bustling in the daytime. The room was so well insulated we never heard anything outside our room and we were just in front of the elevator. Also the outside noise was insulated well so we had minimal street noise. One of my favorite things in our room #24, was our balcony! We got to enjoy sitting outside on it while returning to our room resting up. It was clean and a small bistro set outside on it that was cleaned everyday! What a wonderful touch! This hotel was close to metro stations, pharmacies, small grocery markets, and a Big Monoprix. So convenient and made our stay so enjoyable! I would book here again and recommend to anyone!

We had the exec room with balcony. Nice style, clean, good location, very friendly staff. Coffeemaker and free water refill in lobby was great. Second floor and no noise during night, even though we were facing Blvd/busy street. Good location, bus in front. Alltogether a great option for 2 people! A/C was not super strong, but good enough for Paris in July with 30+ degrees outside. Thanks again to nice staff for making our stay great

Excellent hotel in many ways but some issues as well. My room is small but comfortable for one. I think for two people it would be a squeeze. It is 14 square meters but has excellent ac so for this hot summer in Paris it was heaven. I also requested a balcony which I love sitting in the mornings. My closet door had a hinge broken but the remaining hinges still managed to open and close. They didn’t attempt to fix it after being notified. As for the location it is very convenient to small bistros and food restaurants within 15 mins of walking and next to a very convenient metro stop which has both the 4 and 8 lines. McDonald’s and kfc is also across the street if you have kids but I don’t think this neighborhood is all that kid friendly. Many homeless people wander in this area such that it is more suitable for adults and single travelers. There is a water machine that is self service which was very nice and can do sparkling or flat. Internet and tv projection from your phone was also excellent. Overall a nice experience but I probably would try to find something in the fourth district next time to be closer to the sites and better food. After the response from the hotel I’m actually more disappointed. First of all I can see when a hinge is off the door. There were no large hangers. Second of all no one I assure you spoke to me about this. If you can’t take any criticism perhaps you guys have some serious issues. I don’t like lies.
