A beautiful location, complemented by outstanding gastronomy and exceptionally warm and personal service. Our special thanks go to Edgar, who guided us with great kindness and professionalism, from recommending excellent restaurants to sharing valuable tips on the most beautiful sights and hidden gems in the area. An absolute recommendation for anyone who appreciates quality, genuine hospitality, and an unforgettable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be returning!

Madame Rêve is an extraordinary hotel and was one of the highlights of our stay in Paris. The historic former post office is magnificent, and the designers have done something difficult exceptionally well: preserved the character and history of the building while creating rooms that feel sophisticated, warm, modern and unmistakably Parisian. Our room was gorgeous—beautiful herringbone floors, rich wood, leather and marble, thoughtful architectural details and furnishings, and an incredible bathroom. Everything felt considered rather than simply “luxurious.” Even the hotel’s signature rose-and-cedar scent is beautiful and adds to the sense that every detail of the experience has been deliberately designed. The rooftop is spectacular. The panoramic views across Paris are genuinely breathtaking, particularly at night—you can see Sacré-Cœur glowing over Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower illuminated in the distance, and the rooftops and monuments of Paris in seemingly every direction. The sauna was another wonderful surprise and such a luxurious place to retreat after spending the day walking through Paris. Most importantly, the staff were exceptional. Everyone we encountered was warm, gracious, attentive and genuinely helpful. The service was polished without ever feeling stiff or impersonal, and the staff made us feel incredibly well cared for throughout our stay. The location in the 1st arrondissement is fantastic for exploring Paris on foot. Madame Rêve manages to be historic, beautifully designed, luxurious and genuinely welcoming all at once. It has a real sense of place, which is increasingly rare in luxury hotels. I would absolutely stay here again.
Wow. Our first time in Paris, and by pure luck we may have picked one of the best hotels in the city. From the moment you walk in, the hotel smells incredible and immediately feels special. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service throughout our stay was genuinely top-notch. Our room was beautifully looked after every time we left, and whenever we needed anything, both the housekeeping and reception teams were always ready to help and seemed genuinely delighted to do so. I can say without a doubt that this has been my absolute favourite hotel stay of the year. Madame Rêve will definitely be our first choice when we inevitably return to Paris. To the entire team at Madame Rêve, merci beaucoup pour ce merveilleux séjour!
We had a wonderful stay at Madame Rêve in Paris. The staff were excellent throughout our visit — professional, friendly, and very welcoming. The bartenders were also great, and we really enjoyed the drinks. We had recently gotten engaged, and the hotel made the stay feel even more special by giving us complimentary champagne, as well as complimentary juice on another occasion. Those thoughtful touches were very much appreciated and made a strong impression. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and automatic curtains. The location was also excellent, with easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, and cafés nearby. Overall, this was a beautiful hotel with great service, comfortable rooms, and a fantastic location. We would happily stay here again.
This was our second stay. The food outlets are great, they have three and they’re all very good. The blackout shades are amazing, they almost work too well ;) Modern showers, which we enjoy (much as l love all things French, the vintage shower handles in tubs can be an adventure to get used to!) Location is excellent. Close to great shopping, very walkable, safe area, tons of local cafes nearby. You can easily walk to Champs Élysées, Seine, Louvre and D’Orsay both minutes away on foot. Their housekeeping is very patient with late sleepers suffering from jet lag and messing up their schedule :) We usually switch neighborhoods midway through our trip, for different vibes, but love Madame Rêvé. We feel the cost, options, and service are perfectly in line. We look for hotels that are adult friendly, without a ton of children, since we’re looking to relax and have a romantic time away (no unruly kids or parents who let their kids run amuck and impact other people’s experiences). My only request would be insulated coffee pots for room service for those looking to enjoy the coffee while watching the rain come down (which is a lovely way to spend a rainy morning in Paris - relaxing and romantic). We have stayed at the Peninsula, Hotel Lancaster, Saint James, and Madame Rêvé for reference. All lovely, but Madame Rêvé‘s location is perfect for us/what we’re looking for - close to a lot, but doesn’t feel too touristy.
