Good customer service and very friendly staff who are always smiling and ready to assist. Special shout-out to the receptionist, Sebastien, who was particularly helpful. However, the room assigned to me was smaller than expected, and there was no refrigerator in the room to keep drinks cold, which would have been convenient considering the Paris weather in August. That said, the reception staff kindly offered to store my drinks in their fridge, and I could access them whenever I needed. Overall, a pleasant stay with great hospitality and helpful staff.

A nice theme hotel located in the southern end of the 10th arrondissement, within a 5 minute walk to two metro stations and bus route. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is very good, the room was well furnished. The room has a safe, but no mini fridge, which is good because we had to go out for a drink instead. The bar in the ground floor is open until midnightm but we did not get to visit it during our three-night stay. I apreciated learning about Rimbaud's life and his work thanks to the hotel's decoration.
Our room was nicely appointed but very small. Our only room was that the room was advertised as having AC, but the AC didn’t work. As our room was on the top floor, it was very hot! 🥵 To their credit, though, the hotel was very helpful and accommodating with regard to that problem. Also WiFi worked very well for us.
Overall, this was a really great stay. The room was comfortable with a lot of storage and a really nice rain shower. The breakfast was solid and the staff were all very kind and helpful. Super convenient location to multiple metro lines and a lot of great areas within Paris. My only complaint was that the hotel advertised having AC, but it doesn’t really in practice. The temp in the room is set automatically by an AI-powered thermostat to “conserve energy.” Since we were there during a heatwave and everyone in the hotel was trying to use the AC, this meant that our room was no less than 80 degrees at all times, even at night with the windows open. The staff gave us fans, which helped, but if you’re going to say you have AC, then you should let guests decide their room temperature. It felt like we paid for an amenity that was essentially nonexistent.
I visited Paris with my family for the first time in March 2026. LOCATION: The Rimbaud is located on a pedestrian only street between two roads. It's located in a residential area at the edge of the "good" part of Paris. The worst of it is that if you walk a bit past it and you'll get lots of offers for hair care. I never felt unsafe. This hotel is in a great space for that. Notre Dame, Le Louvre, Isle de Cite, and many of the main attractions are easily within walking distance. There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping. The metro stations are close by so getting around wasn't an issue. Not much in the way of views from your windows, but that won't matter if you're out and about for most of the day. PRICE: The price was reasonable for what you get. ROOMS: The rooms are small by US standards, but comfortable. You might have your shower and toilet in different rooms, but that wasn't an issue. STAFF: The front desk was very helpful and friendly. Overall, this is a great hotel. You won't get the iconic postcard views from your room, but the price makes up for that considering how conveniently located everything is relative to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
