My wife and I stayed at Hôtel de Buci for our first wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect place to experience Paris. The hotel is incredibly quaint, charming, and quintessentially Parisian, with a warm and intimate atmosphere that made our stay feel truly special. The location could not have been better. We were perfectly situated in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, with so much of Paris right outside our door and everything we wanted to explore within easy reach. A special thank you to Sanjay at the concierge desk, who went above and beyond to make our anniversary memorable. He was able to secure us a reservation at one of the most difficult restaurants in Paris to get into, which was an incredible surprise and made our anniversary celebration even more special. From the beautiful hotel and unbeatable location to the genuinely thoughtful service, Hôtel de Buci made our first anniversary in Paris unforgettable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, authentic Parisian experience.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel for our wedding getaway in the city. The sauna is great, the staff really helpful and kind, with small attentions to make our stay memorable. Only downside was the room facing the street, my husband was sensitive to the noise but I slept fine! Overall a good experience with a delicious breakfast.
My all-time favourite hotel in the world. I received such warm and welcoming service here, the room was cozy and clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. The wine social being hosted on the night of my stay was intimate and lovely, I chatted with a woman beside me who stays here a few times per year. The location is fantastic, walkable to most sites and close to the metro. I wish I found this gem of a hotel years ago. I cannot wait to return to Paris so I can stay here again!
I can say enough good things about the location and the staff. And the hotel itself is very cute with modern amenities (like AC) which can be hard to find. The rooms are a bit small, as is expected in Paris, but just to be aware. The reason for the 3-star rating was that we were staying in a first floor room with an overpowering smell of sewer. After a very long, sleepless night we mentioned to the staff who acknowledged they were having issues and kindly volunteered to move us to another room. We were moved to the 5th floor with no sewer smell. However the safe did not work in our new room, and it could not be fixed during our stay. Also of note, the bathroom handle of our first room actually fell off. Overall I think the hotel is very nice and as I mentioned the location is absolutely unbeatable. Just be aware the hotel is in need of some TLC. But I would consider staying there again in the future.
