We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Sofitel Paris Baltimore Tour Eiffel. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth, politeness, and gracious hospitality. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were very generously upgraded to a beautiful room—such a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated. Everything about our stay was excellent: the room, the service, the location, and most importantly, the people. Every interaction with the staff was professional, kind, and gracious. After a stressful start to our trip at another hotel, arriving at the Sofitel completely changed the tone of our Paris vacation. We felt cared for and valued as guests, and we were able to relax and truly enjoy Paris. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend the Sofitel Paris Baltimore Tour Eiffel without hesitation. Excellent stay from start to finish. The location is fantastic, and the team at Sofitel Paris Baltimore Tour Eiffel was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive throughout my visit. Every request was handled quickly and with genuine care, and the level of service was exceptional. The hotel was spotless, comfortable. As I leave the city with wonderful memories, I can honestly say that the warmth and hospitality of the team made this trip even more memorable. I stayed here for three nights in late May with two rooms booked, as an Accor Diamond member. The location is excellent and the staff were somewhat courteous — but the room experience fell well short of five stars, and prospective guests should know a few things the booking description won't tell you. Room 118 is a split-level room with interior stairs and very low ceilings by the staircase and in the bathroom — well under 6'2" of clearance in places. None of this appears in the room description. I'm 6'4" and hit my head repeatedly over the stay. When I raised it, the hotel's Guest Relations Manager acknowledged in writing that this layout "was not clearly communicated prior to arrival" and said they would review it. If you're tall, ask very specific questions about the room layout before you book — or ask not to be placed in this room type. There were also maintenance issues: the toilet barely flushed and was never properly fixed during my stay, the sink drained slowly (fixed only after I followed up in writing — a report to housekeeping the day before went nowhere), and the in-room espresso machine didn't work (eventually repaired). To be fair: the team was polite and apologetic throughout, and after I escalated to Accor, the hotel offered a goodwill gesture of 10,000 points, which I accepted. I appreciate that. But for the price point of a five-star Paris property, the gap between what was advertised and what was delivered was significant — and the layout issue is a genuine safety matter for taller guests, not a comfort preference. I hope the hotel follows through on its commitment to describe this room type accurately. Until then: beautiful location, kind staff, but verify your room before you book.
