Very disappointing experience. Chouchou Hotel cancelled my booking TWICE, claiming my credit card was invalid, even though it is 100% valid and I’ve used the same card for all my other Europe hotel bookings without any issue.
Both times, I was encouraged to make a payment to “secure” the booking, despite booking a free-cancellation rate. When I didn’t pay in advance, my reservation was cancelled.
After this happened twice, I no longer trust their booking process and would not feel comfortable booking this hotel again.
I absolutely love Chouchou Hotel. It’s such a special place in Paris and has a warmth and personality that makes you want to come back. ❤️
Their customer service is also incredible. I bought a hat from the hotel that I really loved, but unfortunately it was later damaged in a car accident. I contacted the hotel, and they were unbelievably kind and arranged to ship me a new one. I received it within just a few days!
It was such a thoughtful gesture and honestly made me love this hotel even more. Beautiful place, wonderful people, and truly exceptional hospitality. Chouchou will always have a special place in my heart. ❤️
We had a great stay at Chouchou Hotel for a long weekend in Paris.
The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city on foot and by public transport. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic.
One thing to be aware of is that the bar was absolutely buzzing on the Friday night. It created a great atmosphere, but if you’re a very light sleeper or tend to go to bed early, it’s worth requesting a quieter room if possible.
The room itself was quite compact, which is fairly typical for Paris, but it was well designed, comfortable and had everything we needed.
Overall, a great hotel in a brilliant location, and we’d happily stay here again.
I’ve stayed in ChouChou Hotel 3 times on separate visits to Paris. Each time has been the loveliest experience. Warm, helpful staff. Excellent location. Clean rooms. And an amazing coffee at the bar. Highly recommend this hotel to all those visiting Paris!
Spent 4 nights a Chouchou Hotel. The hotel offered everything that we needed from a hotel. It’s located very close to a few Metro stations and Auber for the RER.
We had breakfast there only one morning and it was lovely, fresh selection of bread, pastries, cereals and lots of other things. Didn’t have dinner there, but seen a few people with the roast chicken dinner and it looked spectacular, wish we didn’t have prior plans, so we could’ve tried it (maybe next time).
The staff were very friendly and courteous, not one of them didn’t greet us.
The area that that the hotel is in is very nice, a bit on the boujee side, if luxury is your thing, you’ll be right at home.
In conclusion. Lovely hotel, would absolutely stay again.
