What a wonderful experience with Paraty Tours. I did the jungle tour twice, that’s how incredible I found it to be. Well organised. Informative and fun. Highly recommend. Awesome company to work with.
So pleased we included this on our visit to the area . Booked with Green Tours day in advance. Left punctually in the open jeep which although full was very comfortable ,despite the outside heat ,with the air flowing through . The six hours went very quickly , the Tarzan ‘waterfall’ slide down the rocks was definitely an experience to remember , along with the walking across the bridge. Although 3 distilleries visited , all interesting in their own way . Visited some wonderful locations , enjoyed the scenery , lucky to see some monkeys up a tree as we were walking through one of the trails . Our driver was very attentive & supportive to all of us when taking part in water activities although had little English there was some of our group that were able to translate for us.
Good morning. I'll have my say on the tour itself. Obviously it is subjective, but we really found the tour very boring. We left the agency 10 30 and returned at 1700 hours. In all that time we were only in 2 waterfalls. The rest make you stop in different places to compress things. First stop a distillery of Cachaza that was abysmal explanation, we arrived with the explanation started and never returned to the beginning. Then we went to the first waterfall that bored us. Then we went to lunch where it was already about 13:30. From there we went to another distillery, they tried a little harder to explain. And finally the last waterfall of the slide where there was no sun and the water was cold to get in. It bored us too. From there we thought luckily it was over, but we were sent to another stop to buy cheeses. The guide never explained anything. And he was just moving us from one place to another. But if he'd explained, we'd have found it just as boring. Greetings
We had a fear of the intensity of the tour since a group Cover had a labyrinthit crisis the day before due to another activity. We personally searched for Paraty Tours and we were very lucky to be taken care of by Cíntia. He quickly explained to us in detail what the walk would be like. Slowly, we gained confidence to maintain the activity and we ended up carrying it out as previously planned. In addition, Cynthia contacted Everton, who was the main guide of the tour. It was taken care that we had maximum support and security. And so we went. And what a big hit! The waterfalls are beautiful and the alambic of the White Stone is rich in history and culture. Ah! Obviously we broke up in the store after having tried cachaças and liquors. Highly recommended tour! You will be in excellent hands!
I loved the tour too much, the boys are super serious and committed to our well being, I would do the tour once more so much I liked it!
Wonderful and attentive staff; the Everton guide very good, demonstrated knowledge and security about the locations, with a good dose of information and time to enjoy the places.
Wonderful staff, the giua Evandro super attentive, explanations that only better added the ride, note 10 , amazing ride
Excellent in every way. Friendly responsibility good deal. The guide very attentive to everyone. We are very happy with everything
Natural waterfalls, adrenaline in jeep and cachaça, this tour convinced the whole family! In addition the guide was great!!
It was an incredible experience! From the agency service to the walk. All perfect! The wonderful monitors! Gratitude is the word. Super recommend and no one will regret! There was even poetry that moved me too much. Congratulations 👏🏻
Guides Eduardo very good in all respects, polite, very well informed about the entire local history and drives extremely well!!
The walk was beautiful. Our driver, Eduardo was the highlight. Very polite, patient and helped us to get to know a little more of Paraty. Thank you Eduardo, we love it.
Very nice tour! Nice leadership. Beautiful waterfalls and a fantastic lunch spot. Unfortunately the weather was a bit disappointing (a lot of rain) but that didn't spoil the fun.
Super fun day trip! You will be away for a whole day, from about 11am to 5pm to 5.30pm. Put on your swimsuit and be sure to bring dry underwear and mosquito repellent. The first waterfalls (especially Cahoeira Pedra Branca) are the most fun (and least cold) to swim in. So be sure to put on your bikini/swimming trunks and bring dry clothes/a towel. You visit 2 distilleries (1 before and 1 after noon) so there is plenty of chance to taste and stock up on some cachaca. Lunch at Villa Verde was definitely fine; you can take the Jeep Tour menu (cheaper) but we just chose à la carte. Was also pleasant group of 5 people, not too big. Hikes are not hard (a steep bit here and there). We had 2 great supervisors who gave a lot of explanation about the origin of Paraty and the different animals and plants along the way (monkeys!). Thank you Chico & Ivan!
