Kayaking Experience Through The Islands Of Paraty

We had a wonderful time kayaking with Brenda! She was so warm, full of life, and eager to share knowledge about the natural environment around us. We kayaked to a private cove and swam together. After, we ventured to another island full of breeding birds and got to observe them up close. We also saw a giant turtle, flying fish, and chatted with fishermen. It was a wonderful experience and a great way to see Paraty from the water.

My friend and I attended the Katak experience. So much fun, the instructors were on the ball, kind and lots of fun. Do be prepared, bring a t-shirt and lots of sunblock and a hat if you’re pale like me. Super exposed to the sun out out there. It was a good arm work out so make sure you’re fit enough!

It was a nice experience, we went kajaking with our guide Paulo for about 2/2,5 hours. It’s more of an “experience” like the title says, than a tour. So do not expect a lot of information. If you want to know something, you have to ask. Which was okay for us because we just enjoyed being on the water and looking at the beautiful surroundings.

Great trip around the mangroves and the islands the guide Mateu was great, we had a great time even though the weather wasn’t so good, but Mateu adapted the trip so the weather didn’t ruin it, thanks Mateu!

We enjoyed our route around 'pigeon island', into the mangroves and back via the river as it allowed us to see varied landscapes. The kayaks were easy to use and in good condition. Mateu is a friendly instructor and gave us a briefing at the start which was useful for the member of our group who hadn't kayaked before. We felt as though there could have been some more information shared during the tour but others may have enjoyed the quiet time to relax.

A great experience and the opportunity to diversify your stay in Paraty. Mateo showed us various beautiful spots. Nice atmosphere and the opportunity to learn something about the area (also in English) also a plus.

Excellent experience, Brenda is a great instructor! The feeling of seeing the natural beauties so close is unique! I recommend that anyone who does have at least some physical preparation, such as doing strength exercises regularly.

Very nice islands worth visiting by own means. Good kayaks, good instruction and guided walk with humor!

The walk was wonderful! We had never removed before, but with the clear explanations and attentive support from the gringo guide Mateo, we managed to enjoy the tour. The landscapes are amazing. I recommend it to everyone.

We took the tour in the morning and it was great. A very good way to do a beautiful activity in Paraty, away from the crowds.

The walk was very good! Natan taught us very well (was our first kayak tour) and learned to bring some of Paraty's history in the middle of our remotes on the way to the island. It was a super experience! Accompanying everyone on the walk and following our pace. I recommend!

Natan was very attentive to us. We were first-time sailors and we were able to see 2 islands with the kayaking. It was an incredible experience and it’s worth doing.
