The hike was everything we wished for - nature and history all combined! Our guide was awesome (Paco, best wishes!!). The hike ended with a cherry-on-top - a waterfall swim and natural slide. This whole experience set the tone to what we explored next in Paraty! If anyone is still wondering - much suggested!! :)

Rafa was a great guide, providing info on the history of the gold route and how it was shaped by broader sociocultural and political forces. The route is beautiful! I wish it was longer and more challenging. More of a walk than a hike. Enjoyed the trip to the waterfalls and the distillery as well. Nice morning outing.
Christian was a very informative and thoughtful guide. His English is excellent.( Also, Tamires who helped us with in the PT office, has very good English) The trail is partly stone cobbles which can be tricky if you wear flip flops. We wore trainers and were fine. The day we went was fine but there had been heavy rain the day before for hours. Nevertheless the trail was perfectly OK to walk on despite its steepness on places. We wanted a sense of what the Atlantic rain forest felt like. The experience gave us that with great views and glimpses of wildlife. The pace of the walk was gentle and suitable for us older folk!
Excellent city tour. The guide was very friendly. We walked through the historic center and he brought very interesting information. Good and cheap ride. Note: My mom can't go, and they made the refund on time, no problems.
Sensational. Through the wonderful team, Fernanda beautiful and gentle Bernardino (Zeca Baleiro) Meyer Zeca Pagodinho and Carlos Vida Loka we had the opportunity to know this beautiful little piece of Brazil.
An interesting half-day trip in Paraty for those who want to dive into the history of Brazil. Laura from Paraty Tours was very helpful, pleasant and accurate to arrange everything. Elias was a very nice guide, with many details about the camino do ouro that has so defined the history of Brazil, moving and catchy. When I am back in Paraty I will definitely go to Paraty Tours again!
Very interesting this tour, it is worth doing. Very quiet the trail and of great learning about the history of our country.
It was a very fun walk around the historic centre of Paraty. Very nice guide and very knowledgeable of the region.
Starting with the service of Flávia via WhatsApp that was great and everything very well explained and she always very happy to respond. The guides are great and the tour is worth it. The site is very easy to move, which has too facilitated our access to choose the places to tour! I highly recommend the company.
We took a private tour with the guide. We learned about the history of the Gold Way in Paraty and in the end the guide took us to get to know the Alambique Engenho do Ouro. The way is easy but it's good to have a safe shoe and use a wooden rod to help in some points.
Wonderful service and incredible tour! We completed the two-day combo: Jeep tour to the waterfalls and schooner tour to the islands of Paraty and it was impeccable. Even with the rainy day, the tours were incredible! Congratulations team at Paraty Tours ;)
The waterfalls and alambics were great, the explanations were also very good, on the part of the guide and the team too!
Warnings about walks in winding places and with it difficulties for those who have health problems.
Excellent guide. Bringed the main points on the track we conducted and always in a dynamic and interesting way.
It was excellent, sorry we couldn't finish the tour because of the heavy rain. The guides are very attentive.
We made the golden track with the guide Priscilla from paraty tours. Very kind, showed us beautiful places on the trail explaining everything. We end up seeing a beautiful waterfall and an alambic. I intend to come back and contact her again.
