From Paraty: Shared Shuttle To São Paulo

Fantastic experience. Our driver was on time and got us to our destination 1 hr earlier. Highly recommend.

Excellent communication. Had multiple WhatsApp check-ins and confirmations between booking and the day of the trip. Mostly on time, driver was a bit rough (fast windy roads).

We booked two returns from SP to Paraty and were very impressed with the company’s communication (via WhatsApp) from the moment I reached out to them — including the day before and the day of our pick-ups. Super lovely ladies! The shuttle itself was well-maintained, clean and comfortable enough (it’s a small bus that seats about 15, though we were just 5 passengers going to Paraty and 6 coming back, which afforded us plenty of space to spread out). Grateful for a stop about halfway in each direction (a very gaudy restaurant/shop with clean restrooms and numerous food options). And our drivers were friendly (the first one didn’t speak any English, drove more carefully, and allowed passengers to stay at the rest stop for 30 minutes beyond the agreed departure time (which was a tad annoying) … the second driver spoke English, was excellent with providing us a detailed overview of what to expect from the drive, but was a little bit crazier around the hairpin bends!). My biggest concern with our transfers is timing. I understand there will always be things that get in the way of on-time departures and arrivals. However, we were picked up from GRU 1.5 hours past the scheduled pick-up time and didn’t arrive into Paraty until almost midnight (we were told it would be a 9pm arrival). Also a late pick-up in Paraty and drop-off in SP almost an hour behind what we were advised (we arrived at 8pm instead of the advertised 7pm). If the company had told us there could be such huge fluctuations in departure and arrival times, I would have felt more comfortable — but they seemed confident in the timing right from the start and I didn’t have reason to believe otherwise. It made for VERY long travel days in either direction.

Our driver Josimar was amazing! He was so kind and polite. He took time to explain various parts of Brazil to us and was a very calm and safe driver despite the significant wavy roads and fog. He even took us to an amazing look out over the beaches so that we could take pictures.

Very good experience of shuttle to Sao Paulo. Driver arrived punctually and took a little under 5 hours to get us to their drop off point. A good experience and very fair price. Leaves every day at 8.30am

We made really good time and made two rest stops with clean bathrooms. The driver, Isaac, was very polite and accommodating.

I booked a round-trip shuttle transfer from São Paulo to Paraty and back for my husband and myself. For both legs of the trip, the service was punctual, the drivers drove safely, and the cars were clean. We were delivered to the door of our hotel in Paraty. This is a great service at a very affordable price. Highly recommend it.

We hired private transportation and boat tours with paraty tours and our experience was great! I talked to Flavia and she gave me all the necessary support. We had an agenda full of things since we brought about 30 gringos to our wedding and the structure of paraty tours helped us to make the tours go out much better than expected. Thank you!

Le chauffeur est arrivé à l’heure. Mais nous avons dû attendre 20 min sur le bas côté de la route qu’un autre chauffeur arrive pour faire le « trajet » ensemble en convoi. L’autre chauffeur inexpérimenté roulait très lentement ce qui nous a fait perdre du temps. Notre chauffeur était constamment sur whatsapp à parler avec d’autres chauffeurs (peu professionnel et dangereux à certains moments) Nous avons dû faire un détour à la station car ce même chauffeur inexpérimenté est tombé en panne d’essence sur le bas côté de l’autoroute. Notre chauffeur ne parlant pas anglais nous dit qu’il doit aller à la station. Et nous voyons qu’il remplit deux bidons d’essence qu’il met dans le coffre de la voiture. Une odeur épouvantable dans le véhicule pendant une quinzaine de minutes pour retrouver le véhicule en panne… Évidemment, nous retournons à une station essence ensuite pour que ce chauffeur puisse faire le plein. Nous demandons si tout est ok pour que nous puissions arriver à destination dans le centre de Sao Paulo … malheureusement, le chauffeur prend la route et nous remarquons trop tardivement qu’il se rend à l’aéroport alors qu’aucun des passagers dans le véhicule ne doit s’y rendre. Nous demandons pourquoi et là il explique que c’est la demande de son patron… Ce qui est faux, il souhaitait uniquement faire la route avec ses amis chauffeurs. Nous avons perdu plus d’1h30. Nous avons raté notre Check in et dû payer une indemnité. C’est un manque de sérieux et de professionnalisme pour une prestation de 150€ dans un véhicule inconfortable pour 4 voyageurs et un chauffeur incompétent et irrespectueux.

We made the transfer from Paraty to SP with the driver Sandro, who was extremely professional and proved an excellent driver, we had a lot of safety, even though it was a rather difficult road and with so much rain. We also did the Jeep Tour and the Neptune Discovery ride. The Jeep Tour was very cool, the day passed too fast, the guide Elias is a super nice guy, also mega professional and charismatic, as well as our driver Fernando. The boat tour was our last tour and we liked very much too, the staff is very excited and the boat is very well taken care of. And finally, the care of Gabriela, excellent. I talked to her before arriving at Paraty, she gave me the information about tours, so I was thinking and deciding because there are several options, we ended up deciding at the agency, we like everything, I imagine that the Enterprise gives a lot of value to the staff that they have, because they definitely deserve it.
