Casa Turquesa - Maison D´hotes

We had a wonderful three-day stay at Casa Turquesa. Our great experience started even before our trip began—the hotel team was kind, responsive, and incredibly supportive, helping us plan every detail. The place itself is truly inspiring, located in the heart of Paraty’s old town. It boasts a stunning design with remarkable attention to detail. Throughout our stay, it felt like there were more Casa team members attending to us than actual guests, making the experience feel personal and luxurious. We stayed in the White Room, which offered a beautiful view of the mountains and the colorful streets of Paraty. The furniture, amenities, and thoughtful touches throughout our stay were simply impeccable. The breakfast was exceptional—rich and varied, served in a beautifully changing setup with fresh natural juices and a personal touch that made every morning special. This is hospitality on another level, and we’re so happy we chose to stay here. Thank you!

This place was an absolute dream. It's been a long time that I have been to a hotel and come back beaming from the experience! I think what did it for me is that Casa Turquesa takes very seriously the role in "taking care" of their guests. There were so many small things that Casa Turquesa went out of their way to make sure that we were taken care of. For example, I had to change the dates and come a day later, when I texted them on WhatsApp, there was really no problem for them to change. Most hotels or Airbnb's take this as an opportunity to charge you for this change. Another thing- they provide you with sandals that you use when inside the hotel as to not drag in the city. My girlfriend got sick and they did everything to help us take care of her, including waiting until 10:30 at night to clean the room when we finally were able to leave for dinner. The service was really incredible. Fransisco felt like a character from White Lotus, we couldn't get enough of him! So charming and funny and sweet. I highly recommend this place because they understand the bigger picture: people going on vacation want to be held in a way that they can just focus on the fun- casa turquesa did this the best!

Casa Turquesa is the absolute BEST. Not only is the pousada so gorgeous and welcoming, but impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff is incredibly helpful and the breakfast is a masterpiece. The restaurants and boat trip recommended by the front desk were outstanding. I can’t wait to come back!!!

We loved our stay at Casa Turquesa! The Marron room was comfortable and cozy with high ceilings and lots of natural light, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, service was above & beyond, and the heated pool was perfect. One thing to be aware of is the flooding that happens during a new moon and full moon, making it impossible for cars to pass by this street at certain times of the day. To access Casa Turquesa when this happens, you’ll need to walk over uneven cobble stones and small planks of wood, which can be inconvenient when carrying a suitcase.
