About Activity
Departing from the “El Chaco” dock, renowned for its gastronomic delights, we'll board a boat to behold our first glimpse of “El Candelabro” (The Candlestick), an enigmatic silhouette rising from sandy hills. Over 2,500 years old, its origins remain a mystery, once serving as a lighthouse for sailors and now a national Cultural Heritage site. Our journey continues to the Ballestas Islands, where the desert meets the sea in a spectacular convergence. These three islands boast extraordinary rock formations carved by the sea, alongside a diverse array of wildlife including endemic and migratory species. Among them are sea lions and 18 species of birds such as the Humboldt penguin, the red-footed cormorant, and the guanay. After this unforgettable experience, we return to the dock, leaving behind this dreamlike landscape.
