Fantastic experience. We saw lots of animals and the guide was very knowledgeable. The walk itself was not too difficult.

Was guided through the rainforest. Definitely needed a guide to spot animals in otherwise would have missed
Excellent, knowledgeable guide
Our nature walk through the Soberania National Park with Christian was quite the experience. Christian helped us spot howler monkey, capuchin monkeys, coatl, agouti, and many different birds. The walk can be long and hot, so be sure to prepare kids accordingly and perhaps give the guide reasonable expectations for what the kids can handle. Make sure to bring water and snacks. I would definitely recommend going early and while a guide may not be necessary, it certainly made our experience more enjoyable!
A nice easy hike, mostly flat and shaded (but still hot!). We saw a lot of howler monkeys and various birds.
Christian went above and beyond as our guide. He's highly knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. I went with my 71-year-old parents and the walk was easy for them because it's pretty flat and we stopped often to look at wildlife. I highly recommend this activity; it wouldn't have been nearly as great if we went without a guide to point things out.
Walked on a road, not a trail. Wasn’t a wilderness experience with cars on the road. Not a good value.
We saw several different kinds of birds, howler monkeys and white-faced capuchin, and a couple of agoutis. This was an educational hike which included not only information about the animals and plants we encountered, but our guide also answered many questions about Panama itself.
Nico, our guide has a degree in Biology and was so knowledgeable about all the fauna & flora along the trail. He made the drive interesting discussing Panama history, geography, anthropology, and culture. He was a superb hiking guide. He was able to spot animals, birds, insects and plants that we never would have seen on our own. In 3 hours along a flat wide path, we saw 10 species of birds, including the Collard Aracati (small toucan), the Yellow-Headed Caracara, and several species of Trogon. We saw a pack of Howler Monkeys, several 3 Toed Sloths, and many agouti. He also pointed out the millions of leaf cutter ants, termites, and millipedes. And we also saw tiny fish and large river crabs. His professional camera made it easy for us to see the animals even high up in the canopy, and he brought along binoculars to share. The only down side was the description mentioned that water was included, so we didn’t bring our camel back packs, however, there was no water so we had to buy water along the way and carry the bottles. However, the hike was super enjoyable, highly recommend!
Great hike at Soberania park- did two trails and saw lots of indigenous species and animals. Christian was a fantastic guide and we highly recommend this hike excursion.
Good. Is beautiful. Friendly guide and ability to share interesting information about the local environment.
Nikolas was an amazing guide explain everything so clearly very professional and definitely would recommend everyone to have him as a guide. It was a memorable experience and educational as well
Amazing wildlife experience with very knowledgeable guide. The tour was very easy to schedule and went off with no issues.
Our guide Lourdes was fabulous. Very knowledgeable about birds, plants & animals. She pointed out so many different birds What a great hike.
I have been coming to Panamá for over thirty years and have been on a multitude of tours. This tour was the absolute best, mainly due to Nico, our tour guide. Not only did we love the tour but we learned so much. Nico rocks!
We saw many animals and all the beautiful trees and foliage. Christian was wonderful from start to finish. The ride there and back was smooth and he is so informative about the region and the plants and animals within. He spots everything and goes above and beyond to help you see it.
We have gone on many jungle tours with our kids, and our guide for the Soberania National Park Hike was quite possibly the best we have ever had. He was excellent at spotting wildlife and knew a tremendous amount of information.
This was the perfect tour! Saw birds, butterflies, monkeys, mini-frogs, amazing trees. Had a great hike with an excellent guide.
It was a nice hike. Only the three of us (including the guide) Suggest not going on Sundays when the mountain bikes are allowed on the trail. It probably spooked the animals away & we saw very few. The guide was fine, but the lack of wildlife made his job difficult. I would suggest that the guide bring binoculars to help see the birds.
Was an amazing experience. Our guide was excellent. Saw tons of wildlife: monkey, sloths, birds. Was a great hike.
Super fun and interesting tour with Christian. Highly recommend it. We got so much more out of the hike by having him as our guide.
Christian was a great guide and was very helpful in spotting a variety of wildlife along our walk (including monkeys, coatimundis, toucans, agouti, tamandua, butterflies and frogs). We had a blast looking through the trees for animals and the hike wasn't too difficult either.
Great experience! Lots of beautiful scenery and knowledgeable guide. Lots of wild life to see along the way.
Our tour guide Christain, very nice gentleman. He made sure we had a nice experience, we seen a few monkeys, frogs, beautiful water streams, tress and flowers.
Very satisfied, our guide Christian was excellent despite the fact that the animals were not as present as we would have liked due to the high heat and the drought at the time. Despite everything, we learned a lot about animal and plant life in Panama. You should expect to walk for several hours without taking a break, however, because depending on the location in the park (there are several entrances and trails), there are few or no benches to sit on for a few minutes.
Our “guide”, although friendly, was obviously not a naturalist... we knew more than she did! She could have left us at the trail entrance and we could have taken the walk alone without any fear of getting lost. I suggest you take a taxi and negotiate a low price with the driver. Bring your water. Don't lose your money.
