We booked a ride from the airport to our hotel in Casco Viejo. We were picked up by Renan. He arrived on time, and messaged me when we arrived. He also gave us some fun and useful facts about Panamanian culture and food.

We had a lovely experience. Our driver met us at the airport and allowed us to stay comfortable inside while he got the van for us. We had 4 people with 2 children. Manuel helped us with our bags and told us some history of Panama on our way to our Airbnb. Would highly recommend. Safe, comfortable, clean and caring.

Our driver Rene met us at the airport and took us to our hotel in the Old Town (Casco Viejo). The following day, he took us on a four hour tour to the Canal and to the Sloth Sanctuary. Then on the third day his son delivered us safely back to the airport for our next flight to Brazil. They were both very friendly and gave us lots of information along the way. Very good service.

We had an excellent experience with the Private Transfer Tocumen Airport - Old Town (Casco Viejo) service. From start to finish, the company was proactive and clear in their communication, providing detailed instructions on where to go and what to expect upon arrival in Panama. They also made it easy to arrange our return trip, which gave us great peace of mind. Our driver, Marcos, was fantastic! He was easy to find at the airport, super friendly, and very accommodating. My mom, who had a broken leg and was using a walking boot and knee scooter, had no trouble thanks to his help. He managed to fit the knee scooter along with all our luggage without any issue. I highly recommend this service to anyone traveling to Panama. It takes the stress out of trying to find reliable transportation in a new place, especially if you’re worried about a language barrier. Marcos and the team made the whole process seamless and enjoyable.

I’m writing this review for my airport to hotel transfer as well as my ride back to airport and additional hotel transfer. Amber Moon is now my go-to service when I’m in Panama. They provided great communication and friendly service. There was a small snafu with roads being blocked and I was dropped off a small block away from my hotel. Without me saying anything they refunded me because they felt they didn’t provide the level of service they want to always provide. Wow! I immediately booked my next two rides with them and am happy I did so. Yes, cabs and Uber are available many places but I like knowing my ride will be ready when I am and the service will be top notch.
Driver was waiting for us upon arrival and helped load and unload bags. Gave us recommendations and some historic background about the area were staying in, and provided tips for visiting the canal.
A little confusing on where to meet up as we arrived in Terminal 1, but were told to meet the driver in terminal 2. The driver was friendly and drove well. He got us to exactly where we needed to go in a timely manner.
This was the start of our trip and it was perfect. Marco is fantastic, on time, the van was so clean. Was not sure if we would have Marco the whole trip and we did. He brought us smoothly to and from Punta Chame and also back to the airport from the city our last day. I actually started to tear up a bit when he left us at the airport. I trusted a previous review and am so glad I did. Transport in Panama is tough and tricky, Amber Moon made it so easy. Trust with confidence that this is a great service.
Amber Moon was fantastic and a life saver for us. They were super nice and super helpful. We used them twice during our trip. They helped us find good places to eat, cool places to see and even helped us get Canal tickets. The drivers spoke English and were great. 100% you should use them to help get you around Panama.
I can highly recommend reaching out to Amber Moon for any of your transport needs in Panama City. I reached out to Amber Moon via whatsapp at the last minute as I was about to board my plane to Panama City. They were very quick and responsive in arranging a private pickup from PTY airport with a stop at the Panama Canal on the way into our airbnb in Casco Viejo. With just 3 hours noticed, I was very impressed. Our driver, Roberto, met us at the airport Easy Breezy. Roberto was fantastic driver, and we spoke a bunch about Panama City on the way to the Canal. We were also starving hungry and after the canal, he also brought us by a fish market on the way into Casco Viejo as a nice bonus! We were extremely satisfied on the way in, and booked again with Amber Moon and Roberto for our return to the airport. I'm sure they are capable of much more, but for our simple tranport around the city, they handled it all seamlessly and made our trip very enjoyable.

We used Amber Moon Transfer Service for an Airport Transfer, a transfer to the Canal and a transfer to El Value de Anton from Old Town , which we arranged all from home. Two of our transfers were with Ranan (sorry if I spelled incorrectly) who was very professional and informative. He spoke perfect English and helped us with our poor Spanish. The other driver was very nice and professional too, sorry we forgot his name. They were both on time and very helpful. Ranan told us alot about the canal and the area around the canal. I used a different company for transfer when I landed in Panama. They were 25 min late picking me up. My friend got in at 2 am and they didn’t even show up for her and she had to call a cab at 3 am. So naturally I was worried about a transfer back to the airport, especially with my flight departing at 6 am so I had to leave Casco Viejo at 4 am. Amber Moon was responsive and dependable, and Fernando showed up even earlier at 4 am. It’s more expensive than Uber but I wanted the peace of mind and didn’t want to wonder if there would be an Uber close by that early in the morning. It’s worth the extra cost. Would recommend them again.
