We had a great time with our guide Aura. We really enjoyed the Geisha Coffee tasting. The staff at the shop were great, well informed and entertaining. The Geisha coffee was the best coffee we have ever had, and tasting the different strengths was eye opening. The food parings were light and perfect. The chocolate tasting, while a little less involved was still tasty.

Casco Viejo is very busy but going with a small group tour is well worth it. It is very special to see how they prepare the expensive coffee and include chocolate and sweets to enhance each type of preparation. And going to the nearby chocolate place was very fun. We liked learning about the growing process. Aura is very knowledgeable and a great driver who navigated the congested streets quite well.

Julio was a great guide and made the coffee and chocolate tour so rememberable we booked a second tour to see the monkeys and canal before our 1st tour ended. I just might become a coffee drinker! He really knows the area, history and local issues. If you have a choice, choose Julio.

Julio took our group to Panama Chocolate and the Geisha Coffee Tasting Cafe. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the trip very fun and enjoyable. I would definitely use him in future trips.

If you are visiting Panama City, Panama it is a must to have Julio give you a Coffee and Chocolate tour! His English is next level. His knowledge of the county and city history was very impressive! If you want top notch service and experience Julio in the man, the myth, the legend!

This excursion was well worth it. We learned so much about Panamanian coffee and enjoyed the experience very much.

Waited for an hour outside while it was hot and humid. Was told driver was late due to traffic but then the original driver called me and said he was almost there but the company replaced him with a different driver and that’s why I wasn’t picked up. We never got to do the activity. I asked for a refund and was told an email would be sent to confirm nothing was sent. I reached out twice and then was told call customer service. I filed fraud with Amex and I’m so disappoint that this happened especially space I’m returning in 30 day.

The tour is not necessary - spent a long time waiting around then sampled some coffee. Other people just walked in off street and did same thing. Waste of time and money

Aura is an amazing guide and very knowledgeable. The coffee experience is incredible with interesting details and three coffee pairings. The chocolate tasting rounded it off perfectly. This is a must do!

We had an incredible experience doing the Geisha Experience and Panamá Chocolate tasting with Roderick, and it was truly special from beginning to end. Roderick picked us up from our hotel and walked us through Casco Viejo pointing out, taking us through, and telling us all about so many beautiful landmarks in the city. Roderick is personable, friendly, funny, extremely knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. He treated us like family, and we can't recommend this experience more. After touring the beautiful city, Roderick brought us to the Geisha Coffee Experience which was unique, informative, and delicious! We learned about some of the most exclusive coffee in the world...and tasted it! All of us were influenced to make our coffees at home using the same pour-over technique. Finally, we visited Panama Chocolate for our last stop and this did not disappoint. This was a quick tasting and we all left with so much chocolate to share with our friends and family. We would trust Roderick with any of our friends or family visiting Panama in the future. This was a standout experience for our group and easily a 10/10. Highly recommended.

Having heard so much about the Geisha coffee in Panama, it was a must do activity. Whilst I would’ve loved to visit the coffee region of Chiriqui, experiencing the taste, hearing the story and learning about the process in Panama City was fantastic! The I Love Panama Chocolate was also a treat that capped it off nicely. It’s a shame this chocolate isn’t exported, as it was truly lovely to learn and taste it! My host Aura was fantastic, knowledgeable and patient with my questions. It was a punctual pickup, with sites and sounds along the way. A definite recommend when in Panama City!

This was such an amazing experience! Drank some of the best coffees that I’ve ever tried and learnt so much! My guide - Mylin - was a joy and had so much knowledge about the location! And she could speak both Spanish, English and a perfect Portuguese! Highly recommend for lovers of coffee and history!

We really enjoyed the Geisha experience and blown away by the exclusive class of coffee and what makes Geisha so special. Each taste for coffee was paired with a small luxury treat. We also enjoyed our experience with Rafael, our guide. He is very knowledgeable about the culture and history or Panamá. After coffee, we walked around the old city as he explained how it came to be the way it is. We ended with a chocolate tasting that was very quick but informative as well. FYI, The only thing was we had to pay $30 for each person at Geisha, which wasn’t included in the price of the tour. But glad we had a safe ride there and back. Overall it was worth it!

For $130, my wife and I expected a nice chocolate tasting and geisha experience. For $130, we got 1/4 of a bar of chocolate total.. and then had to spend an additional $60 for the geisha experience itself.. which is just 3 cups of coffee. Save yourself money. Do not book this tour. You can uber from anywhere to the geisha experience for less than $10, buy multiple bars of chocolate, and buy multiple coffees, and still have much more to spend.

Had a fantastic time! So many great pics. Fed monkeys, saw some of the Panama Canal. Great boat ride and our tour guide was excellent!

It’s a con! This is only transportation to a coffee place for $55 pp. We didn’t even get the transportation & rather than being honest about that, the owner just didn’t mention that. It does not include the coffee tasting & the “chocolate tasting” is 4 chocolate chips that the shop gives away free to anyone who wants them! Do yourself a favor & just Uber to Casco Viejo instead of paying for your coffee tasting & then have the guide drink part of yours that you have to pay for! It’s a con! The “tour guide” sat there & drank part of our coffee tasting that we paid for before we knew that we were paying for that separately! It was so outrageous! The owner said he would refund us but never did. Then tried to claim that it was TripAdvisor that didn’t refund us. We booked through Viator! Don’t waste your money!

First let me say of all the agencies I booked with Panamanian Adventures by far was my favorite agency and if you are going to Panama I highly recommend checking out all the tours that Panamanian Adventures has to offer, they will take very good care of you. We went to the coffee shop to try some coffee. Then I we went to I love Panama Chocolate. I bought bunch of chocolate because when I get back from vacation. I always bring something back for my co-workers. The biggest is I want to on more vacations so I always back treats for them so I can persuade boss to go on more trips. I brought the chocolate to work this week and it getting gobbled up very fast. In terms of the Coffee shop I hope soon they will order the almonds they give for sample in bulk because I wanted buy a large helping of Almonds to bring back but I had no luck. The good news for you is they are working on getting their special almonds in bulk so by the time you do the tour you will be able to purchase them.

Cesar was very friendly and knowledgeable about Geisha coffee. His explanations piqued my interest to learn more! For those who love coffee, I would definitely recommend Cesar to be the tour guide!

Cesar is a great tour guide and his English is excellent. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but my wife is and she really enjoyed it. Was a very unique experience and really did learn a lot of how the coffee is harvested and prepared. The desserts they pair were very good. The chocolate later was quite tasty too. If you like coffee and chocolate, I would recommend.

Great experience! This is the best coffee I’ve ever tasted and the chocolate was awesome as well. Very interesting tour. We learned so much, I walked away feeling like a coffee connoisseur. Cesar, our tour guide, was excellent. He’s so knowledgeable on everything about Panama. He went the extra mile and explained/showed things to us that weren’t technically part of the tour. When we come back to Panama we’ll be asking for Cesar to be our guide and I suggest you do too!

I really enjoyed the tastings and learning more about the coffee and chocolate from Panama. Both were delicious! I was very surprised by the lemon flavored dark chocolate. Excellent!

It was a wealth of knowledge gain. I got to appreicate coffee better than I previously did, especially Geisha Coffee. It was my very first time hearing of this type or brand of coffee.
