The show and food were great! The driver that pick up us at the hotel and drive us back was algo great. We had a really good time. But when we got there we found out that we could've PAY HALF THE COST by just doing a reservation directly to the Trapiche restaurant online or calling and getting Ubers, by doing this, also we would've had 2 choices of meals! Not just pre set meal by reserving through Viator. Check it out first

The dinner was excellent as was the Panamanian show after. The food, music, dancing, outfits were worth the price of the ticket.

We were greeted warmly. Our pick up from our Accommodation was on time and excellent. The show was wonderful and service throughout the meal was great. I didn’t care for the food but others did. Great experience.

Expect to have an awesome time. The show is wonderful. The restaurant has a very traditional Panamanian vibe. The service was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious!

When they give you menus, make sure to tell them you've prepaid the tour or you could end up over paying for food.

This was the first event we did in Panama and it really set the tone for the whole vacation. Both the entertainment and the food was exceptional.

We had a wonderful experience at El Trapiche. The dancers and the musicians, especially the drummer, are very talented. It was an excellent show! The only negative was that we found out that we were only entitled to one drink, rather than two drinks as listed in the advertisement. Otherwise, we had a really enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it.

Oh what a show! It’s my first trip to Panama and I’m totally blown away at these beautiful show by singers, musicians and dancers! The main singer who is the host as well guided us with facts and culture through each performance, the dancers were vibrantly dressed and you can tell how hard they work for this show and as well as the musicians! Very worth it! Also would like to add the waiters were very kind and patient. This is definitely the spot to go to learn and enjoy Panamanian culture.

This was a waste of time . You are basically paying someone to pick you up and take you to dinner . The place was empty( 2 tables) and it is a free show if you just get a Uber there and order your food . The show was about 3 minutes. The food was okay but my driver who came in and sat with uninvited ate most of it . Choose another tour!

Food was very good. Decor was a little bit a of piece that you could find and see around Panama city

We were looking for a traditional dinner with music and dance. The pick-up from the hotel and back were very well organised. We found a reserved table near the dancing floor. The traditional menu was not a 3 course menu as it was written in the presentation. There was no appetizer and no desert, just one main course to choose between chicken, pork or fish. They offered us 1 soft drink or a beer (only Panama beer). Sparkling water was not included!. When I told them there are 2 drinks included I had to prove with my voucher. So we got 2. The show was performed by 2 persons (one pair) and there were only 3 (three) dances and another one together with some ladies from the audience who were traditionally dressed by the organisers.

Loved the music and dancing. The food was just ok. Be sure to get up and learn the dance when asked. You’ll be glad you did!

They ask you to arrive at 7pm. Show didn't start until 8:15. 2 dancers entertained for 15 minutes and then took a 30 minute break. Food was ok

Alexis our driver was prompt and friendly. We picked up another couple along the way and we immediately formed a bond. The service from start to finish was excellent inspite of the language barrier. The appetizers was delicious and my meal which was a fish dinner was also delicious. The show was fantastic .The dancers (Male & Female) were superb and draw you into their dancing. We then took pictures with the dancers. The atmosphere of the restaurant os beautiful. This is s must experience.

This was a fun outing on our final night in Panama! We stayed in Playa Bonita so having a comfortable ride into the city was great. The restaurant staff was amazing. I danced with the performers who were welcoming. The food was also very good. Great experience!

The dance Show was colorful. I was expecting more based on the title, the violin/drum performance was great. Pick up and drop of was as scheduled and tour operator communication made it smooth!

I had a great time but the rest of my family did not. Despite the ambiance being amazing and the entertainment even better, there is still a lot missing with the food. I don't think this experience is worth $60 maybe $25/30. The wait staff are very friendly but the service was slow (it was a packed house the night I went so maybe that accounted for that). Overall, I wish I could give this experience 5 stars but the food really knocked it down for us. :(

I was looking forward to a tasty meal with great entertainment. I was highly disappointed in the food and entertainment. The appetizers were sharable for the table which I did not expect. The ceviche (part of appetizer) was not good at all. I would give the appetizers a 4 out of 10. The main course and dessert was just ok. The entertainment felt like minimal effort was given to give the audience a nice show. There were two dances that lasted about 1 minute long and then someone was singing the same sentence over and over and over again to the beat of drums. Overall, I did not enjoy this experience and wished I saved my money to do something else.

The show was great and food authentic Panamanian dinner. The ride to and front was also a good experience....well coordinated..Would highly recommend. As a solo traveler from New Jersey, felt safe and had an excellent time.

I would recommend the place and inform ppl of what to be aware of . The three drinks do not include mixed drinks, it’s only beers, wine and water . Also, I was expecting more dancers than only two ppl. Also, the food choices are river fried bass or something else that we do not eat. We had to call for the manager and so we got the seafood soup in exchange. Too much fry food for us in the appetizer. If you love Panamain food, it’s for you .

The driver was on time for pickup and he was courteous. We received a warm welcome at the restaurant. Dinner was served first and then the show after. Our hostess/ server was very nice and told us the name of each dinner item (appetizers and mains) and what was included in them. See photos for the appetizers (we don't have one of the mains). The show was great. Will definitely recommend to anyone that is interested in immersing themselves in the culture.

I booked this experience based on previous reviews. I did this for my Birthday. The owner was super friendly and gave me a personal tour of the establishment. The dancers gave me a birthday song & dance. Dinner was excellent.

Lots of fun & photo opportunities. The food was good and plentiful. The dancers were excellent. Staff was really friendly. I would go again!

The restaurant was very enjoyable, the dancing and the crowd was a lot of fun. The included food was my least favorite part. The menu was not the best.

What a cute place! The app isn’t allowing me to upload pictures, but the interior is so cute, clever and fun! Very colorful with lots to look at. The dancing was fun, but by the time we had our dinner and the dancing began, we were pretty tired. We saw one dance, then two birthdays, which was fun, and then some music. Our driver arrived ahead of schedule at our hotel, and then didn’t come back on time to pick us up. We walked back to the hotel. The food is Panamanian…heavy, lots of fried cornmeal and rice.

This experience is a three course dinner with a dance show after dinner. Overall the service was great and the vibes were great. On the flip side, the food wasn’t that good. The entire option was fish, pork, or chicken. The restaurant seems to sell other food but our options were limited. Dispute that, we had a good time.

Food was ok but nothing special, The show consisted only of two dances with the rest of the afternoon being a loud party without panamenian folkloric dances or music. Very disapointing

The show was reasonably interesting but the quality of the food was terrible. Nothing left to say. I’ve given my honest opinion. The cutlery sums it up, made from thick tinfoil. If it had been $10 per head it would’ve been acceptable but for $150? Total rip off. Avoid.

I loved the food and dancing and the driver who took me was great. I would really advise you don't go solo because my single table was in the corner and I had to get up to see any dancing and other activities.

2 hours & 15 minutes. Overall, a disappointment, after a decent meal. We saw traditional folkloric dancers for about 3 songs. Then we were subjected to youngsters doing the Electric Slide, The Wobble, and dancing to Gangnam Style. It was a deep disappointment because my wife and I were expecting an authentic cultural experience. Not DJ music and a younger group.

We were supposed to be picked up and waited 45 minutes. While trying to reach the driver, we finally were able to reach someone from viator. They couldnt reach the driver either but told us where the dinner was. Once we got there the show was over and the people there had no idea what our voucher meant and still charged us. This isnt the restaurant fault. The food and drinks were amazing. But we had to pay for our food and drink. It would have been cheaper to just have gone there by myself. I was very disappointed.
