Panama Layover Tour: Canal And Casco Viejo

Unbeknownst to me, I had already done this tour before! Anthony was incredibly flexible and accommodating, adjusting the itinerary to ensure I still had a new and enjoyable experience exploring Panama City. His professionalism and easygoing nature truly made the day memorable.

Anthony from Panama Master Tour was such a treat to be around. Extremely professional, friendly, highly educated on Panama and it's history. Did I mean he was bilingual he speaks both Spanish and English so although we knew very little Spanish we were in good hands. His tours are very affordable. I would 100% recommend Panama Master Tour.

Our guide was incredible and super knowledgeable about Panama. We checked out the historic center, the new city, and even watched a ship pass through the Panama Canal. We had a few hours between flights and managed to squeeze in all this.

Anthony (our guide) is very friendly and fun to talk to. He picked us up on time at the airport. The vehicle was very clean, and he had the a / c on. He was very detailed on his explanation of history, culture, architecture, economy, government, places, and foods. He was very conscious and accommodating of our time constraints. He made sure we did the most within the time we had available. He brought us back to the airport on time. This was a wonderful experience, we enjoyed the sights and the food at the place Anthony recommended, and I will forever hold a beautiful memory of the time spent in Panamá City. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to enjoy the main sights of Panamá City within a short time of at least 3 to 4 hours to spend sightseeing.

Totally useless waste of time. We wish we had just taken a cab and spent four hours at the airport. It was pouring rain and they took a walking tour. It was really nothing interesting to see anyway.

Excellent experience, great choice & a must if you have a layover in Panama City of at least 6 hours or more, the tour is very detailed, the guides are very friendly, and full of knowledge.

This layover tour of Panama is an excellent experience if you have quite a few hours of slack time between your connecting flights. Instead of staying at the airport and do nothing, we decided to go on this tour. The tour is private and not a group tour. It also adjusts to the time of your flights. Our tour was approximately 5 and a half hours. We were picked up at the airport and returned to the airport in a van with AC. Panama's weather was hot. We were able to see more places than what is described in the tour. I guess that it can depend on your driver (guide). The star of the tour is definitely the Panama Canal which is the main reason we went on this tour. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. The IMAX movie about the Panama Canal also allowed us to understand more of its history. Sincerely, we had no previous experience or any recommendations with this tour company. We took it on a leap of faith and we're pleasantly surprised. They delivered what they promised and the costs were reasonable, considering that the taxi costs from the airport to the different places in the city can be quite high. The tour does not include the entrance fee to the Panama Canal which was US$17,22 per person. In summary, the tour with Panama Masters Tours is 100% recommended.

Anthony Da Silva is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and polite of the sites we visited, from the presence and transport everything was very good, we knew the canal in the locks of Miraflores, visited the town center, some churches and the main square, went to market and even made a short stopover to eat, excellent experience to know Panama in a blink.

We toured Panama City with Anthony Da Silva. It was an excellent experience, we toured the most important places, including the Old Town and of course the visit to the Canal. As we walked the streets, Anthony told us the story of each place, monument, construction, with a clarity that denotes how much he knows and knows his City. Excellent option for layover tour. They picked me up and took me to the airport, great communication and on time, I didn't have to worry about anything. Anthony is the guide who has a degree in history and seems to have a passion for it, so with the little time I had on layover, I was able to get to know places, the history of the country and the city, its culture, crafts. Everything perfect! I highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed the visit to the city and the Panama Canal. Anthony is an excellent guide. He has extensive knowledge of historical data and answered all of our questions. Grade 10! Initially it started with a very agile service, I was very lucky because I contacted Guatemala at 3am to take the tour at 8am, I was attended to quickly. When I arrived Antony was already waiting for me. The tour was very well planned (I asked for a 4-hour tour), a great car. The tour is private. Antony is a very good guide, a very pleasant person to talk to, he knows a lot about local history. I highly recommend the tour!
