Panama Canal And Monkey Island Tour

A really fun experience. The Panamá canal up close was a major highlight. My guide, Logan, was knowledgeable and personable.

I had to initially reschedule the tour due to a canceled flight because of heavy rain. They were very accomodating. Pick up was punctual. Tour was in a very clean van with cold air on a hot day. We were able to see many animals including 3 types of monkeys, crocodiles and even a sloth. Thank ypu Mr Logan for a great start to my birthday!

Logan was a great guide, so friendly and knowledgeable! The tour was a great first day in Panama learning about the history or the canal and country and then getting to explore nature! I even fed a monkey! Such a great 4 hours! Would highly recommend! Thanks Logan! We had a blast!

Logan was my guide for the experience he was prompt. He provided wonderful transportation in a beautiful van that had charging ports that I especially appreciated. He got me to the canal as soon as it opened and ensured I got the best spot. The monkey tour was exceptional as well he provided cold water and knew all the tricks to get the monkeys to eat out of the palm of our hands. This tour exceeded my expectations. This trip was an amazing and we learned a lot about the Panama Canal. The film narrated by Morgan Freeman is very insightful and really enhanced my understanding of the canal operations, and its significance to the world. The exploration of Monkey Island was really fun and exciting. We got a chance to see the Monkeys up close, and I even got a chance to feed a Monkey from my hand. We were even treated to a sighting of a Sloth. Our tour guide was very personable, knowledgeable of Panamanian history and culture, and made sure we were safe and taken care of from start to finish.

We had Cesar as our guide. He picked us up at our hotel and the entire journey was incredible ! We had so many laughs. He gave us lots of info about the surrounding areas and really went out of his way to ensure we had a truly memorable experience. The Monkey Island tour was wonderful and we got to see different animals. He was also full of information at the Panama Canal. This experience is one we will never forget !

I was so happily surprised! We were a group of 10 and I went looking for the tour with the most consistently high reviews and well priced, but that tour was sold out. So, I clicked on this tour and it was all they claimed to be. We were picked up on time, our guide really navigated ship passage time at the canal, IMAX movie times, Gatun Lake boat times, commuter traffic times, and so much more, so well! He made it seamless for us and along the way gave us a lot of great information! He truly made us feel welcome and at home! Shout out to Cesar! Even the company itself reached out to us to help with some additional questions we had for the rest of our stay in Panama. The tour itself should be on the "NOT TO MISS" list. A lot in just a half day and every bit worth it! Easy to do for those with some mobility issues, too! Thank you! We will be on the lookout for other tours to take with you when we return next year! Logan was the Best tour guide ever!!!! He came to pick us up from our hotel and drove us to the lake for the monkey island tour first. Then to the Panama Canal. Logan educated us on historical events and the Panamanian culture past and present. Thank you Logan for answering all of our questions and for being so accommodating.

Exciting and definitely one to do. The scenery on the Monkey Island part was beautiful and full of the expectations of seeing monkeys. The video at Canal was fascinating and very informative. Actually watching the boats move through the Canal was amazing.

Our driver/guide Logan was amazing!!! He made sure we got all the best views and photos. We even learned some Spanish along the way from him. Overall we had an amazing time and created memories for a lifetime!!!!

Logan was exceptional! He advised us the night before he would collect us 15 minutes early to avoid traffic which was amazingly helpful. He drove with safety and care and ensured we got the best views at the canal. During the monkey tour he explained more about the culture of Panama and the monkeys. Overall, this was the highlight of our trip and I would gladly recommend him to my family and friends.

Great tour - did not disappoint! Saw 3 kinds of monkeys, a crock, iguanas, a turtle, and bats. Our guide timed it perfectly so that we got to watch the Imax film at the locks and head outside just in time to watch a ship crossing. Pick and drop off was smooth. Logan was awesome.

Logan was a phenomenal guide. We saw the old town and all the great picture spots including the Panama sign and a shot of the downtown from the West bridge. Logan was also patient with us as the canal tour was a bit behind. Most importantly he recommended a good spot that we visited twice from our resort, El Nacional.

Get your! Guide was extremely attentive and helpful to every person on boat- great value for the month Ps- left my phone at canal and realized when we got back to city and owner went all the way back and retrieved it for me- can’t recommend enough

It was great to have a private tour and my guide Rommel provided information and insights you can only get from someone who is local and experienced. Without his and the boat drivers keen eyes I would’ve missed all the wildlife, because the animals blended so well into their surroundings. I wish I had more time where I could’ve gone on another tour with him, including going on kayaks through the caves…..next time

This tour is one of our favorites! We have taken it 3 times, taking friends and family when they come to visit! The canal is very educational, as well as showing what a work of wonder it is! Then Monkey Island! We never get tired of goi g to Monkey Island! What a fun adventure that never disappoints! We always see many monkeys and birds, and iguanas. When we are lucky we see a sloth or two! Our guide on all three of these tours has been Rommel! He is AMAZING! He works so hard to make sure you get the best possible experience and memories! He goes out of his way to help make our tour the best it can be! I request him every time!!

Really want to thank our tour guide Miguel. We honestly thought we were being picked up in some big tour bus and just being shuttled around, but we ended up being picked up in an SUV by Miguel, and he was our personal tour guide for the day. First took us out to monkey Island, and he came on the boat with us and talked about what he knew, and then we experienced the monkeys. Then we got back into the car and we headed over to the Panama canal visitor Center, where again Miguel walked us through told us what he knew, and then we learned even more there. Was a wonderful day, and a beautiful city.

Cesar my giude was very friendly and helpful. As I was alone with him the whole tour was like hanging out with an old friend. I just can recomend! Being on the lake in the small bays canals seing animals in the rain forest was like a National Geographyc movie...

Great time learning about the Panama Canal. The IMAX movie is great! Then, Monkey Island never disappoints! Rommel is amazing! Highly recommend!

This was a very easy and very enjoyable tour. Our driver Antonio was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. Spoke great English. We were a bit surprised that we had to buy tickets for the IMAX when we arrived at Panama Canal, but after re-reading our tour/ticket info, realized that it was not included. It was definitely worth the price of admission. It was very informative and interesting. The boat driver to monkey Island was a phenomenal driver, and made sure we saw everything before heading back to land. Antonio also took us to Gamboa hotel and gave us a lot of history about the area. Drove us past Rod Carew Stadium on the way back to the hotel.

Elliot was a great tour guide! What a great afternoon to see the canal and explore Lake Gatun. Travel was seamless in a clean comfortable vehicle. Would recommend!

I did the tour that they offer of the Panama Canal and boat tour of the Gatun lake and monkey island. It was the perfect combination to see the Canal and a bit of nature. Everything was great, we had enough time to see everything, both at the canal and the lake, and at the same time it was not an all day tour. My guide Logan was great , friendly and has ver good information. 100% recommend it.

We had a wonderful day with our guide Rommel. He addressed all of our wishes individually and afterwards gave us more tips on where we should go. He told us an incredible amount about Panama and answered all of our questions. The experience with the monkeys 🐒 and the Panama Canal were absolute highlights in particular; that was unique.
