My parents and I booked this tour on our layover in Panama. We received multiple messages with detailed instructions about 1 week before our trip. However, we never expected an earthquake to shatter our schedule. Our flight was delayed for 8 hours so we basically missed out the deadline for cancellation. Immediately after my notification about missing out the tour, I received an instant message about making up for the missed tour. I was completely shocked about their professionalism and caring response. I was offered a new tour the next morning without any additional cost. I was picked up the next morning on time. Both KiKei and Jimmy were super attentive. We were able to catch the ship passing through the lock and the train passing by on our first try. The tour guides were very meticulous about timing so we can see all the actions at the Canal. After the Canal, we were dropped off at old town and were given a highly detailed explanation about all the buildings there. Overall. I highly recommend this tour company. They turned one of my most stressful travel experience into a great one with a lot of wonderful memories.
I only gave this three stars because of the situation. Due to the earthquake, we were not able to go to Mira Flores, which really would have been the main attraction. Nevertheless, our guide, Jorge, was exceptional. He had a lot of knowledge and at the very last minute was informed that he had to change his tour and not include the main event and also that he would be conducting the tour in Spanish and English. Jorge certainly Rose to the occasion and did his absolute to make sure that we enjoyed the trip. We did enjoy it, however, but I think it would have been better to offer a cancellation rather than just changing the entire trip for when we had not paid for
What a fantastic experience and a wonderful history lesson. Our guide, Jaime was knowledgeable and he had a great attitude. The pick up was on time , Jaime made jokes and ensured everyone was enjoying themselves. During the Old Town part of our tour , Jaime took us to a quaint restaurant where we bought sancocho and empanadas. The meal was delicious. Keeke was our driver. He was diligent on the road and our group felt safe. I would absolutely book with Conozca Panama Tours again. They communicated clearly and ensured all instructions and tour information was provided beforehand. This was a wonderful tour and our group thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Tour pick up was prompt and early enough to get us to the canal to be first in line. This was so important to getting a good spot on the platform to see the ships come through. The IMAX film gave great historical background for the canal and country of Panama. Our guide, Juan Carlos, was super knowledgeable and gave us great information throughout. Filtered water provided in the van was a nice bonus. Giving 4 stars because the stop at the Amador Marina seemed really pointless; there was nothing to see or take pictures of. It would’ve been much more enjoyable to stop along the causeway to get pictures of Casco Viejo and Panama City.

This was an excellent tour. Very professional and friendly. There was plenty of time spent at the Canal and lots of interesting historical stories. Louis was very inclusive for all the passengers and spoke excellent English. We were lucky to have excellent people travelling with us and had fun. The only down side was all the walking and pointing out historical information about the various buildings in the Old town. There was no time to wander around the shops, particularly in the square. Saying that we did enjoy this tour and would recommend it.

My tour guide Jorge was amazing. He was very professional and patient with me and the other members of the group. He did an amazing job explaining the history of the canal and history of the old city of Panama.
Luis was very nice but didn’t provide applicable information related to the tour. There was a lot of information about the architecture which became very boring. The trip could be cut down to 4 hours.

We had a fantastic experience on this excursion with Jorge, our guide. He has a wealth of knowledge about the our stops and Panama in general. Both he and our driver were patient and accommodating. We were comfortably transported. Even though the Casco Viejo portion of our tour was rained out, both were ready and willing with umbrellas, snacks and water to accommodate our preferences. We would recommend this tour to anyone and are glad we spent the extra rather than going by ourselves.

We explored downtown and learned the history behind the buildings, neighborhoods, and the people who make Panama so unique. Our guide, Juan Carlos, was exceptional. He truly made my family feel like VIPs, and by the end of the tour, we left feeling like part of the family. The Panama Canal was an absolute must-see, and we were also lucky enough to catch a festival hosted by Panama’s indigenous communities. Overall, this is a must-do tour!
Jorge was an excellent tour guide and very helpful. The tour was very informative. Seeing the Panama Canal in person was amazing. My tip: Check the weather conditions for the day if its possible. There was alot of rain on the day we took the tour so we missed out on some great photo opportunities due to the rain.
Jimmy was our tour guide and he was amazing! His humor was unmatched but he gave us a lot of background and history which was sincerely appreciated. I would love to do another tour with him in the future. Highly recommend!

Try to get to the video sooner in order to get good seats. The video of the canal is very informative. Also if able to get some chocolate in Old Town, please do so as you will not be disappointed. A very educational tour of the canal. A short bus ride to a crowded tourist area - but not to worry - your guide helps you skip all the long lines and get in to see the Imax show (don't miss that) and the actual canal. Worth the half day experience.

A great overview about the history and construction of the Panama Canal. The IMAX film (narrated by Morgan Freeman) about the Panama Canal was excellent. There is a good balance of guided tour experiences and free time to explore.
We booked a private half-day tour for my family of 6. We had a great time. Great communication from Rafa via Whatsapp before the trip. Our fabulous and knowledgeable guide was Belcko and our super driver was Enrique. We had a great time as a family. My favorite part was seeing Miraflores locks and watching a boat pass through the canal. The documentary was very informative and we learned a lot. Some great photo ops with the Panama sign and in Casco Viejo. Belcko demonstrated photos and videos on his iPad to enhance the tour and was a wealth of information. I highly recommend using Conozca Panama for tours in Panama. All was safe, comfortable, and easy!

Being a solo traveller, I booked this tour before coming to Panama but was not sure what to expect. In the end it was well above my expectations. The team contacted me on WhatsApp the night before to confirm all the logistics and got picked up on the day at 7:20 right on time by Enrique (driver) and Jorge (the guide). Jumped in the van and went straight to the administration building of Panama Canal. Jorge was giving me lots of Panamean history (he is super knowledgeable). Then we went to the can visitor centre. Arrived early to beat the queue and we're lucky enough to see a boat passing the lock. Then saw the 8:45 Imax movie about the canal construction (amazing) and then we went to a very relaxing area of Panama city with a noce Marina, amazing views of the city and the famous Panama sign. Finally ended up with a walk in the old town and finished by 12:00. It was smooth, nice, well organized and I got so much from Jorge. It really felt like a valuable things to do for a half day in the city. Highly recommend. Super high value. Huge thanks to Enrique and Jorge for the great experience!
