Had a good experience and saw some good stuff on this tour. Pick-up was easy and worth the price. Book it if you enjoy seeing animals in their natural environments.

Itinerary
Ride fast on High-Speed motorboat next to the Big vessels in the middle of Panama Canal and safari its wild side, observe capuchins, howlers, Sloths, tamarins or toucans.
Drive in a US Ex-military facility. Snacks, bathroom stop. Pass by the Gamboa - Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and venture 2km at the famous Bird watcher pipeline trail, walk in the jungle look out for a vast array of flora and fauna
The Centennial Bridge crosses the Culebra Cut (Gaillard Cut) close to the Pedro Miguel locks where we are going to make a quick stop. This is a nice scenic view over where the original French excavation had lots of difficulty. The bridge is a cable-stayed design with a total span of 1,052 m (3,451 ft). The main span is 420 m (1,380 ft) and clears the canal by 80 m (260 ft), allowing large vessels to pass below it.

A must do while in Panama. We saw the canal, monkeys, toucans and a sloth. Our tour guide Manolo was amazing! He really put his all into the tour and it showed. The transportation was 10/10 with water, snacks and air conditioning. Great value and a perfect way to spend a few hours.
Readly good tour. Loved the boatride and the close up encounter with different monkeys. Guide great and everything was well organized.
Ty pick up no issues, the tour and guide great!!! The drop was was very disappointing. It started with us changing shuttles to a non-English speaking driver (we booked an English tour) and he took 52min to get us to our hotel once we passed it the first time. He went to a hotel no one was staying at and I had to ask twice if he was going to our hotel. We passed our hotel within one block twice, we should have made him stop to let us out and walk. That was very disappointing after a great tour!
This was so disappointing! It didnt help in that it was raining heavily and despite being given ponchos we got absolutely soaked. My main concern was that we went on a boat on the Panama Canal with no offer of a lifejacket (despite the weather and every other boat wearing them). At one point a boat went past which caused a big wave which meant our boat tipped precariously to the side twice and i thought we would actually tip over into the crocodile infested waters. It was so irresponsible and from a health and safety perspective completely unacceptable. Despite the safety concerns we saw some wildlife but the guide didnt seem particularly proactive, including being on the phone a number of times. We went for a 'walk' in the National Park after the boat which consisted of a 15 min walk up a trail to then just turn around and walk back. The pineapple provided was good but the other 'snack' was just dry and all fried and not good at all. Overall whilst it was good to see boats on the Panama Canal I really wouldnt recommend this trip.
Manolo was our tour guide. He was amazing from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable about Panama’ culture and history. During the boat tour and tour of the rainforest, we felt safe the entire time. If anyone sees this review and is considering this activity, definitely give it a go, you wouldn’t regret it!
The guide was rude and unprofessional towards me. Almost all the time he was addressing girls telling them his life stories and bragging about his own jobs/positions and how did he get into a security job before. He made the trip look all about him which is ridiculous. Is there any one in this tour agency who can tell the guide that tours are meant to be fun, knowledgable and memorable experiences for touriste and not to be used as a self promotting bragging opportunity. In the jungle walk the made us return from less then 500 metres which is not we were told. We thought we would experience nature in a substantial jungle walk however that lasted only few minutes. It was not clear in bold how much were total charges and on reaching the van I was made to pay another equivalent amount. Waste of half day with an unprofessional guide and team who have no regard for their job. I paid money, spent time and faced harrasment. I do not recommend this tour at all. The quality of snacks offered was really bad. This trip does not even deserve 1 star however i do not have any option here to give a zero star.
Was amazing we saw a lot of wildlife, the Guide jass was funny and very good, he is very passionate about panamas wildlife.
I had scheduled the tour with another organization and they canceled it only after I reached out to them to find out when I should expect to be picked up the next day. I was so disappointed an immediately started looking for an opportunity to take the same tour with someone else. Victor came to my rescue. Had the most wonderful tour. The guide was wonderful and so knowledgeable, Manolo Ruiz even "speaks" monkey 🐒. During the jungle walk he spotted sloths 🦥 amazing 🐦 and would set up his fancy binocular to ensure everyone could see. He even took photos for us too. He was great! Our driver on the tour was the BEST as well. So glad the first tour with another organization canceled🐒🐦🦎🦥🦇🦋
Very nice, good early morning to beat the humidity. Great sight seeing even better boat ride. Hiking could have been more but enjoyed it and tour guide was enthusiastic and well versed.
My tour was amazing. My driver and tour guide yass was amazing. I can’t wait to bring more family members
The experience was excellent. Bring sunscreen and bug spray. Our tour guide was amazing and got the monkeys on the boat. Very cool! A must!!
The guides went above and beyond making sure we saw as much as possible. Friendly and energetic. Was a great time.
The guide was funny and super informative and the excursion was fun. Just be aware of the $20pp boat fee on top of the advertised $30.
We had a great guide and saw so much. It really was great. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is because the package does not include the boat ride (another $20) which is bizarre because without the boat ride it could hardly have been called a tour. It does state that in the fine print but it feels disingenuous.
It was truly an amazing experience the tour guide did an awesome job !!!
Our guide Manolo was super knowledgeable and funny! Great experience and you’re able to see the monkeys close up. Bring bug spray!!
I absolutely LOVED this tour!! Seriously, I went just a couple of weeks ago and I'm already thinking about going again! 😂 We saw several different kinds of monkeys, including howlers, capuchins, and tiny tamarins, and some even climbed right onto the boat and onto us! What made the experience even more impressive was that we went right after the earthquake, when things were still very chaotic. Despite everything going on, they were incredibly professional and made sure we got our entire tour. The only thing we missed was the walk after the boat, simply because it had gotten dark and wasn't safe to do it at that point, which I completely understood. They didn't rush us or cut our time short. It was honestly one of the most enjoyable things I've done here, and I would happily go again tomorrow. Absolutely fantastic experience!
Very cool experience, saw all the types of sloths and monkeys, very knowledgeable guide. Would definitely recommend.
This tour was fun and it was a great value. Four parts: driving tour, boating around the islands looking for animals, stopping for a snack, and then a jungle walk. Enrique was informative and entertaining and we saw LOTs of animals even a sloth. Good for all ages.
Had a great time and our guide, Jazz was very knowledgeable and friendly. Was a better experience than I was expecting tbh!
This tour was very cool. The hotel pickup was late, but traffic in Panama sucks, so it is understandable. Our guide Yas was fun and did a great job catering to different languages, and types of people. He alias a good eye for the wildlife, and we were able to see several types of monkeys, 2 different types of sloth, alligator, bats, iguana, etc. it was $30p/p, plus another $20 p/p for the boat. So $50 plus tip for about 4 hour adventure into the jungle, via the Panama Canal. Absolutely worth the cost, and a great way to spend a Thursday morning. The snacks were local & tasty, tje bathroom break halfway through was good, and both the guide and bus driver (Denny)!were fun to hang out with.
We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with the monkeys. The trip was just the right length and we were back in Casco Viejo by lunchtime. Manolo was an excellent guide, very informative and we learn very much about the rainforest and its flora and fauna
The tour guide and bus driver did due diligence in finding us monkeys and sloths to see! Nature at its finest.
Definitely worth the money. The tour was really well guided by Jess and Dany, and made this experience very unique. Highly recommended.
An incredible tour for the value- we saw monkeys, toucans, a sloth and more. Our guide was very funny and knowledgable, thanks so much Jazz!
Amazing experience, both Danny & Yaz were great tour guides and hosts and experts on the wildlife & area
This tour was well worth the time and $. The monkeys came right on to the boat! Our hawk eyed driver spotted sloths in the trees and stopped so we could get pictures. Danny and Jazz were a great team!
Best tour I have had in a while. The crew is great. I really enjoyed my time. Our guide went all above to ensure we found and saw all of the listed animals. 10/10
Very Friendly good job in all, we all had fun. The guide spoke good English and was able to answer all questions.
Perfect experience from start to finish. Driver and guides were super helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming.
Amazing encounter with animals, especially monkeys, eating fruits from our hands. The guide, Jazz, had a great knowledge about the place and animals. Highly recommended
Minolo was a great tour guide. Very informative and funny. He is a wealth of information on the animals and land. Best experience we had down there.
Definitely did not expect this tour. Wow was it fun and getting to see all of the wildlife was an experience we won't forget. Our tour guide was hilarious, took the safety of animals and all of those in the boat seriously and provided us with a vault of knowledge. If you are lucky enough to get Manolo he will not disappoint!
We were picked up right on time from our hotel (6:30am), with great communication beforehand from the organizers. It was a short, comfortable ride to the area where we got on the boat - we did also have a short pit stop to see a sleeping sloth in a tree that our driver spotted! The ride on the canal was great, we were in a covered boat with plenty of room for everyone in our group (there were about 9 of us in total, not including our tour guide). We were able to see a lot of monkeys that came right onto the boat - all very friendly and comfortable enough to eat out of our hands. We also spotted a number of birds, bats, iguanas, and fish that were around the different areas. It was very cool to be in the boat near the ships that were passing through the canals to see how large they are. The walk afterward on the pipeline trail was short, but very cool as we got to see another sloth hanging out in the trees. Definitely use/bring bug spray! We wrapped up with the ride back to our hotels with some fresh pineapple as a snack. We were all back to the hotel before noon. Overall, really great experience! Yaz, our tour guide was super knowledgeable about all the wildlife, history and facts about the area and the canal. Danny, our driver, had a really great eye for finding sloths up in the treetops too.
This excursion was great! Yas was so easy to interact with and very funny. He knew exactly where to take us to see the different species of animals including a cute sleeping sloth…..would definitely recommend!
The experience was really good, it was also educational as well.Despite the weather our tour guide made sure we got to see everything and made the trip worth our time.Wear comfortable shoes and clothing because it gets very humid. None the less my friends and i enjoyed it. AMAZING
It was amazing. He was very historical and knowledgeable about his country. I’d love to go again. We even got glimpses of the Panama Canal, but we couldn’t fully see it because it was closed due to the earthquake that happened on October 9th. Make sure yall book with Enrique.
Fun and informative time. Saw wildlife and enjoyed the walk thru Gamboa Rainforest. Driver was punctual in picking us up. Water provided and nice air-conditioned van. It was hot and humid!
Yaz was THE absolute best tour guide! He made the entire trip fun, engaging, and educational. Such a great way to experience Panama, learn about its culture, and make unforgettable memories! We would absolutely book with him again and recommend him to anyone visiting Panama! A little word to everyone traveling: PLEASE TIP YOUR GUIDES! These guys work SO hard to make sure you have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience. They put in the effort to make your trip special, and that deserves to be recognized and appreciated. Don’t forget to show them some love! Thank you, Yaz, for an amazing experience!
What a wonderful day to be out on the water and jungle looking for wildlife! Emilio has been our guide twice now and he knows animals. We saw three type of monkeys, sloths, Cayman crocs, bats, iguanas, Jesus lizard, and my bucket list item - TOUCANS! We were all on the bus ready to go back, when Emilio saw two in a nearby tree. We all excitedly jumped off the bus to take some fabulous pictures. What an incredible day!! Thank you!!!
A good half-day trip on the Panama Canal! We were fortunate to see a very active 2-toed sloth, a caiman (smaller alligator), and a pair of toucans - in addition to the more common capuchin, tamarind and howler monkeys, and lots of birds and iguanas. Emilio and Alán presented the tour mostly in english, the snacks were good, and they lent us binoculars and rain ponchos. We even got to sit comfortably in a restaurant while all the water in Central America poured down outside, in between activities.
Great tour. Manola the guide was so knowledgeable and entertaining and his English was perfect. We had binoculars and rain ponchos provided. Saw lots of monkeys, sloths and birds. Snacks (yummy) and water provided. Please note that good covered walking shoes and insect repellent is a must for the walk.
This is a good experience, worth the money , my guide was nice , funny , knowledgeable and interactive. The driver was punctual and drove safely.
This tour was truly exceptional! The passionate individuals involved in the tour were evident. Manolo Ruiz, the boat driver, and the bus driver were genuine enthusiasts who cared deeply for nature, unlike many other tours.
Fabulous excursion. Manolo Ruiz was our guide and he was absolutely fantastic from beginning to the end.
We got to see 2 different species of monkeys, a couple sloths, butterflies, a number of different birds. Great guide who was very informative. Saw big ships up close going into canal. Was well worth the price. The snack was more of a lunch than a snack!!
A wonderful experience and a chance to get close to nature. We saw three species of monkeys, lizards, many types of birds, sloths, and diverse vegetation. Our guide, Jess (or Yess/Jazz :)), shared fascinating stories about the wildlife and plants, as well as Panama's history and interesting facts. With a great sense of humor, he turned an ordinary tour into an interactive experience. Adan, our driver, got us everywhere quickly yet safely, and the speedboat captain provided an unforgettable thrill ride. There was an abundance of snacks, fruit, and water. I definitely recommend it—it’s a 10-star experience!
This was honestly the BEST tour I’ve ever been on! 🥰🌴🐒 It was my son’s birthday, and our amazing tour guide Jazz made sure we had an unforgettable experience! 🎉💙 Jazz was absolutely AMAZING! He spoke clear English, was very knowledgeable, and made sure we got the chance to feed the monkeys. 🐒🍌 Snacks & fresh fruits were included with the tour, and the hike was beautiful too! 🌿🥾 The tour was not only fun but also very educational. We learned so much and even got the opportunity to see the sloths! 🦥😍 If you’re looking for a tour that is reasonably priced and gives you A LOT for what you pay for, this is definitely the one to book! 🙌🏽✨ Thank you, Jazz, for making my son’s birthday so special! 🎂💙 We truly enjoyed every minute! #BahamaMamas #BahamaBoy #BestTour #BahamasAdventures #FamilyMemories
