We did the expedition with a group of friends, and it was like living inside a documentary, haha. From day one, the guide explained everything clearly: times, stops, what was included and what wasn't, so zero weird surprises. We walked around almost empty islands, snorkeled with tons of fish, and one night we even saw bioluminescence in the sea. It's important to go with an open mind: limited space, basic showers, and almost no cell service. If you're looking for adventure and want to relax with friends, this trip is awesome.

My friends and I booked a group trip with Sea San Blas for 2 nights, and it was the best decision ever. They helped us plan everything, from transportation to activities. We had so much fun sleeping on diffferent islands, playing volleyball, and enjoying the fresh weather. We're looking forward to coming back to Panama soon to do it again.
At night you could see so many stars it was wild. Zero light pollution. We laid on the beach just looking up. Is amazing....
Wasn't sure what to expect but ended up living it. The cabins are básic, yes, but the whole vibe males it worth it........
You really just check out of real life here. I didn’t touch my phone for 2 full days. Just sun, sand, and good vibes!!!!!!!!!
The island was super quiet and not very crowded when we went. We loved relaxing in the hammocks and swimming near the shore. The food was okay, nothing special. We joined one of the day trips and saw three other
I think this place is ideal for relaxing, swimming, and having fun, not for those looking for crazy activities. It's nice and quiet. The only thing I would change would be the food; it's not bad, but it's very simple. Next time I'd bring something to snack on. Also, a flashlight for the cabin at night.
We spent two nights on the Pelicano and overall had a great time. The trip was very long and winding at the end; definitely bring something to wear if you get seasick. But once on the island, everything was peaceful and beautiful. The beach is great for swimming, and the atmosphere was family-friendly.
Such a great break from the city. The vibe on pelicano is totally different... Peaceful but not boring............. ..
Calm water, beautiful skies, and no stress. The drive was long but I napped most of it anyway. Worth it. It is very enjoyable on the island.
This was more of a relax tour and less running around which I liked. Read my book, floated around. Perfect..............!
Next time we’re booking 4 nights instead of 2. Didn’t want to go back. Bring cash though — no ATMs and we almost ran out....
We were debating doing the Cayos Holandeses trip and I’m glad we did. It felt like a private island. Totally untouched. 100% worth the upgrade.
Left with sunburn and a smile. The snorkeling was amazing, especially near Perro Chico. Loved the combo of nature and quiet.
No Wi-Fi, limited power, and cold showers — and honestly it was great. Felt super grounded the whole time. Bring a book and disconnect.
Such a relaxing place. Everyone we met was chill, and the vibe was totally laid-back. Perfect spot to do nothing for a couple days.
We did 3 nights here and easily could’ve done more. Days were spent swimming, exploring, and just laying in a hammock. Super relaxing, and the staff was really kind.
Loved the natural pool with all the starfish, that was a favorite stop for sure. Our group had people from like 6 different countries which was cool. The Guna women sold handmade crafts that were super detailed and beautiful.
The whole thing felt very DIY in a good way. Nothing fancy but everything worked and the guides were cool. Bring your own snorkel gear if you want more time in the water — the shared ones were limited.
I think the highlight for me was just disconnecting — no internet, no distractions. My teens weren’t thrilled at first but ended up loving it. We swam a lot and the community visit was a nice learning experience too.
This was our second time to San Blas but first time staying overnight. Pelicano was a great base. Our guide remembered us from our last trip which was really cool. We had a mix-up with the boat schedule but they sorted it out.
The food was honestly better than expected — fresh fish and rice. Cabin had sand everywhere but you’re literally on an island so it’s to be expected. Bathroom was a bit of a mission at night but overall we had a blast.
The cabins don’t have AC but the fans and ocean breeze kept it comfortable at night. We stayed up late chatting with other travelers and drinking beers under the stars. Such a cool atmosphere.
Snorkeling was solid, lots of cool fish and even saw a stingray. The lunch on the island was really good too. Only complaint is we wish we had more time at the sandbar pool. Still had a great time, slept like a baby with the sound of the waves outside the cabin.
There was a bit of confusion at pickup but once we got going everything was smooth. The water is like something out of a movie. Group cabin was fine, just bring a headlamp and flip flops for the night.
Really cool experience, felt like a little mix of everything. The boat ride was a bit rough at times, but nothing too bad. Loved swimming at all the stops.
A rather mixed experience in the San Blas, despite a truly paradisiacal setting. We paid about $150 per person, including the night, transportation, and meals. In the explanation, it was clearly specified that the toilets and showers were shared, so we knew that before coming and it did not particularly bother us. However, at that price, we were especially expecting to experience the immersion that was advertised. Unfortunately, we had almost no exchange, no discussion, and no real interaction with the locals. This is mainly why we find the price much too high: we ultimately felt more like we were paying to sleep in a paradisiacal setting than to live a real immersive experience and discover their culture. The food was decent, but the drinks (25cl $2 for soft drinks, $4 for beers) are not included and are quite expensive, including water (25cl $2). At this price point, we believe that at a minimum, water should be included. Regarding the activities, we really advise against taking the additional $25 per person excursion, which clearly gave us the impression of being a scam: about 20 minutes by boat to reach a "natural pool," which is actually just a sandbar in the middle of the sea where the water comes up to your waist, then a visit to another island. Ironically, the latter seemed much more pleasant, welcoming, and cheaper than Yani Island. And even on the island, the activities remain paid: $20 per hour for a kayak and $10 per hour for a paddleboard. At $150 per person for the service, we think that this type of additional activity should be included, just like the water. The San Blas remain a magnificent place, but the value for money really disappointed us, mainly because of the total lack of immersion and everything that still has to be paid for as an extra. Our advice: definitely do not take the additional $25 excursion; it is absolutely not worth its price.
In Europe, we are used to having city lights that hide the sky. When night fell on the island and the community turned off the generator, the number of stars visible to the naked eye gave me chills. My partner and I stayed lying on the still-warm sand until late at night counting shooting stars. A pure emotion, organized very well down to the smallest details by Sea San Blas.
We chose the private cabin on Pelican Island to spend the weekend, and it was a total success. The sea is extremely calm and the waves are gentle, ideal for a trip as a couple or even alone, stress-free.
We chose the night plan in a private cabin on Pelican Island, and it was a great decision. The environment feels super exclusive, and the beach is just a couple of steps away. The tour includes kayaks, so we explored the shore at our own pace. Highly recommended!
We stayed two nights in the shared cabin, and I admit I was afraid of the heat, but the sea breeze that comes through the wooden walls is delightful; we slept really well. The experience of dining in a group with the sound of the waves in the background is something that no city hotel can provide... here the water is salty and there are no luxuries, so we went with a backpacker mentality and had an amazing time.
We were looking for a place to disappear from the map, and the private cabin exceeded our expectations. It is a structure made of cane and straw on the sand, without luxuries or air conditioning, but the luxury here is the absolute silence and the Caribbean breeze. The company was very straightforward with us and warned us not to expect a resort, but rather a total immersion experience with the Guna. Thanks to that honesty, we were able to enjoy the digital disconnection without complaining about the lack of wifi...
Having a cabin for the two of us was great to see the sunset quiet... it's a place to forget about problems and it helps my girlfriend and I relax... point in favor for the agency is that it was very coordinated in the transfers.
Very fun, I spent a different weekend with my friends, we always travel to luxurious places and so but today we risk and go into these beautiful islands, the experience can be somewhat rustic but worth...
First time I go to a beach and in what way!, I felt like a little boy swimming in these clear waters, my partner and I were very satisfied, what if I recommend it?, a resounding yes.
We stayed 1 night in Pelican with a group of friends and was much better than any expensive resort kkk 🔥 The island is tiny, you see the sea from all sides, it looks like movie. The cabins are pretty simple, cold bath, light just a few chicks, but who's on? We spent the day playing ball and drinking beer in the sand. Dinner was fish with homemade rice, very tasty. For those who want vibe roots, starry sky and laugh with friends, I recommend too.
I was encouraged to do a 2 night stay. From the first WhatsApp they explained well that everything is basic: simple bathrooms, luxury cabins and almost no sign, and so it was. I still felt safe the whole time, the guides knew my name, they asked me if I was okay, but without bothering. If you are a woman traveling alone and you like rustic, I would definitely repeat it.
I ran away 2 nights to an island in Sea San Blas to turn off the real wifi. Spoiler: almost no signal, so mission accomplished 😂. The bed was fine, nothing fancy but I slept rich with the sound of the waves. By day I spent it between hammock, dip and a little book, zero Slack, zero mail. Yes, the bathrooms are rough and at night you need a flashlight, but you come back with your head reset. For burned digital nomads, this stay is pure medicine.
We stayed two nights and it was spectacular. The atmosphere, the sea, the tranquility... all perfect. I wish we had more days.
I spent the night with a friend on Pelican Island, in some cabins above the water. The views are amazing and the island was spotless. We did the island tour during the day; it was a fantastic day and night, I would say. However, I usually camp and would say that this was not very comfortable. There was electricity from 8 to 6, which was great because it had light. I recommend taking a mosquito net to sleep, because the insects are terrible.
