This tour was just the two of us. The guide said this frequently happens. He showed us places that we would probably never have gone to on our own. Particularly nice was the rooftop view over the city. Definitely recommend.
We were a group of nine and paid for a Panama city night tour, a visit to the Panama Canal museum, a tour of Casco Viejo, a Panamanian dinner with an elaborate local menu, a folkloric program, a visit of the city and its lights. It turned out to be a total bait and switch. The tour guide landed up late. We spent all of 25 minutes in Casco Viejo, walking around withtheguidelookingatGooglemaps. We were driven around the city. We were shown the Panama Canal museum from the outside and asked to take photos. The local panamanian meal and show was cancelled as the restaurant was apparently undergoing renovation. (There are a multitude of panamanian restaurants in the city which we could have been taken to). We were taken instead to an Italian restaurant. We sat there for 90 minutes waiting for our food which never came. We eventually left without dinner as it was taking too long and already 9.30 pm. As the money was already prepaid and we questioned the guide, he said that this is the arrangement that was made for us and there was nothing he could do. The office would not answer our calls. As tourists, not from this country, our hands were tied. A total waste of money and time. Please avoid this company at all costs.

I’ve now been to Panama three times and very glad that i participated in today’s tour. Although I thought I had an understanding of the country, I learned more during this tour than I had in past visits. Alex did an amazing job of weaving in history and world events which kept me completely engaged. His personal stories about growing up in Casco Viejo made this a one-of-a-kind experience.
Great Experience with Juan the Tour Guide, it was a small group and I was the only tourist that spoke English and Juan made everyone comfortable and made this Night Tour Personable. I didn't tell anyone but the day of the tour (11/16/2026) was my birthday!! This was the reason why I came to Panama City. Definitely ask for Juan!!
The whole trip was great. We had a downpour of rain 1 bolt of lightning, 1clap of thunder, a great meal, good visit to Old Panama and the Amador Causeway
Do not book this tour or use this tour provider. They decided at the last moment to cancel the tour without telling me. When I was finally able to contact them, they claimed to be on their way in heavy traffic. They strung me along for almost two hours before claiming that traffic in Panama City was gridlocked. They assumed I don't speak Spanish, and told me to look at the news to prove their claim. Traffic was, of course, completely normal that night. By the time this sad sequence of events ended, it was far to late for me to make any other plans. If the tour provider wanted to stay home and play video games, they could have canceled earlier in the day to allow me to make other plans during my short stay in Panama. Viator responded to all this quickly and issued me a refund. Viator should stop using this local tour provider.
I learned very much about the history of Panama turning back to the first old city to the making of the Panama Canal. I also enjoyed the trip to Amador and the duty-free shop.Definitely a trip worth taking.

Private tour with excellent insight from my tour guide. He was very knowledgeable on the country’s history and even recommended other sites to see. He of course took many photos for me since I was a solo traveler.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with Jorge. We had some lively discussions and learned a lot about your beautiful country. Dinner was very fun- the dancers were fabulous as was the music. Food was good. Chicken soup was THE BEST!! Jorge took us to a shop where my friend could use the bathroom while you made some great purchases.
We contacted vendor 4hr before the tour started to request change of date. Reason our earlier tour was stuck in traffic. Vendor said no, to bad.

This tour is a must do. Honestly, we learned so much about the culture and visited so many places, I was so wore out, but our tour guide, Argenis was THE BEST. He has so much energy and knowledge and a great personality. Amador Causeway and all locations are breathtaking. Please visit Sabroso Panama. It’s just a scam. We just got driven to all the spots that he could take a picture. And at the end even two spots we didn’t going and got us back already at 8:30pm 2,5 hours later. After we asked about the places we haven’t been he said we went to all but he can drives us there shortly. It’s not as written in the description. Not even a refund for half the price. Joey as well just was all the time on the phone to translate and check what he should say. He didn’t know questions just answered with things he already said. As well we got twice almost in an accident and once he even hit an obstical on the side of the road. I don’t recommend this tour or asked for the other names in the other reviews. He even got angry at us when we told him about the missing things and the driving.

Nevil was a great tour guide! Another group backed out so it ended up being just the two of us which was awesome. He drove us around the city, stopping at interesting spots for photos (he's also a great photographer and will tell you how to hit those angles lol) and sharing TONS of history about the city. It was the first tour of our trip so it was good to get an idea of what places we might want to spend time at over the remaining days. He took us to an authentic restaurant with an AMAZING atmosphere, traditional dancing, and delicious food. The night life in the city is definitely bustling and it was fun to be involved. Highly recommend!

Terrible! Never got picked up by operator of tour! Then when I called Viator representative, he tried to gaslight me and claim I told him I was there 10 minutes after pick up when I actually stated I was there 10 minutes before pick up. Then he tried to claim I was not there at right time and I was not on Panama time and arrived 1 hour late! Terrible Viator service! Told him I would report him and he said, ok, we are being recorded. No apology. I did get back my refund. I never had this experience from Viator in past.
The driver NEVER showed up !!!! I received a confirmation the day before so I was looking forward to this tour. The day of the tour I had to contact them asking about the driver. The tour operator told me a bunch of lies that he could not come etc.... They made me waste my entire evening. If I was a resident of Panama, I would sue them in court.

I went with my cousins to Panama and I booked the night city tour so we could learn about the history and get to know the city at night. Our tour guide’s name was Orlando and he did a fantastic job. He also took us to a few hot spots where we were able to eat and have a good time. Overall, wonderful experience and great guide, much recommended.

We took this tour on our last night in Panama City. It was the perfect ending to our vacation. Orlando was a fantastic tour guide and resource from the moment he picked us up. There was a lot of traffic so he adjusted the itinerary so that we'd still see everything without spending alot of time sitting in traffic. He fluently translated between English and Spanish to include everyone on the tour. He was very knowledgable about the history & culture of Panama and Casco Viejo. He made sure we saw places of interest and also experienced some of the nightlife. He had a great sense of humor and also made sure we took advantage of scenic photo opportunities. The dinner location had something for everyone. This tour is a nice way to see and experience the city at night and I highly recommend it.

Very poor guide. Does not know any historical information. Speaks barely any English. In an entire tour probably said 20 sentences. For example we passed by the church and the information we got: this is a church of San Jose. We did not learn a thing. Very disappointing.
Great tour really get to see a great amount of Panama. Only had one day, but our tour guide was incredible and really made everything worth it. This was the only tour I could find that left after 5 PM as our flight came in early in the morning.

We had an amazing tour with Nevil, he is really a Panamanian treasure with a wealth of information about Panama. He took us to all the places of intrest in Panama and along the way was very informative about the places and the history of the country. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs. He is really the best tour guide out there.
Our tour guide, Argenis, was very insightful and did the best he could with providing us info about Panamá. He even took many great photos of us and was always sure to check on us to make sure we were okay. I would give him a 5 out of 5 stars; however, our tour was combined with a Spanish speaking tour guide as well to accommodate the Spanish speaking tourists. He over spoke our English tour guide and it became very difficult to hear what was being said or even concentrate on what was being said. On top of that, we were crammed into a van that made it practically impossible to see anything out the windows. This tour can be improved by separating Spanish tours from English tours and also a different type of vehicle.

Neville is outstanding. It was like chatting with a long lost friend. His knowledge of Panamanian history was a great education. His bringing his family and experiences into the tour was even better. My wife isn’t that adventurous so we chose the restaurant with the show. While the food was great and the staff friendly and outstanding. It was a tourist place with lots of cruise ship tourists from the USA. Next time I will much rather choose a local Panamanian place with more locals. Yes Neville recommended the fish market, but my honey wouldn’t have tried anything. We had a great time in Panama City and Neville was responsible for a lot of it

I personally did not enjoy this tour as it brought no relevance to my experience in Panama, after already completing a day city tour. For a traveler that likes taking pictures, it was a bust. It gets dark early in Panama. Panama is a vibrant culture, it best you spend your money on a day city tour so that you can witness all it's glorious elements and also be able to capture it pictorially.
Armando was our guide in this private night time tour with just my husband, and I. Armando had extensive knowledge of the history of Panama and presented it in an exciting, and engaging way. We have done many Viator guided tours. This was amongst the very best.
Driver pick us up on time and was very courteous . Stops at Panama Canal Administration Building, Casco Viejo. Passed by Amador Causeway and the slum area. No food stops. It was a 3-hour tour not 5 as advertised. Took this tour upon arrival to maximize our time. If you’re short on time. It’s a good start.
Orlando our tour guide was amazing. He knew everything about the city and had tons of fun facts to share. He took us to an amazing restaurant that offered local cuisine and then we ended the night at a rooftop bar with an excellent view. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to learn a little about Panamanian culture.

We had Nevil for this trip and he was informative, funny and engaging. It was our first day here and would recommend this as your first tour to get the lay of the land. We learned a lot about the history of Panama and current events. We ended our tour at an authentic Panamanian restaurant that featured dancers in tradition dress. Get the whole fish and go for the mysterious homemade hot sauce.
