We had an amazing experience with Albsi and Melissa. Such friendly tour. On the boat tour we saw all three types of monkeys and got to feed them all. The kids were thrilled!

Our guide Alci was by far the most incredible guide I've ever met. He was friendly, proudly Panamanian, kind, knowledgeable, helped us understand the land, the people, the canal and the animals. What a tour. Don't book without anyone else. Ask for this guy!
Had an excellent time! Our tour guides were super friendly and very knowledgeable! We saw ships in the canal, monkeys on the island and even saw a sloth! Would definitely do this again!
While this tour goes in the Panama canal water, it is not about the canal. We traveled by small boat to see 3 different monkey species and it was great!
Dan was a perfect guide: from customized pick up from our hotel, having ponchos for the rain, water during the tour, food for the monkeys and lots of knowledge he was a wonderful escort for the day!
The logistics of the tour is thoroughly thought through. Everything works. The guides were really professional and knowledgeable. All in all a very good experience.
My guide was Alci. The experience with Alci was lovely, he was very accommodating and friendly. He was early to the pickup location. We learned a lot about Panama from him and he answered all the questions we had. He was very knowledgeable about the country and the tour site. I will highly recommend this tour.
It was a great experience to see the monkeys, bats so close. The tour guides were very informative and friendly.
It was an amazing adventure! We loved it and would do it again!
Ricardo picked us up on time and was friendly and professional. His diction was very good in both English and Spanish. He was very knowledgeable and imparted several interesting facts. The trip on the boat was excellent and we saw a variety of animals. The Sloth Sanctuary was also very good We would do it again.
Ricardo was friendly and super knowledgeable about not only the wildlife but the history of the canal. Incredible experience in nature and getting up close and personal with monkeys--thank you Ricardo!
We had the best guide. Prompt, kind, and knowledgeable. We saw 3 types of monkeys, received information about the Canal as well as environmental topics to help us better understand Panama’s habitat.
Super fun. Fernando was nice, knowledgeable and engaging. It was so cool to see all the animals and to feed them. I would definitely recommend.
Javier is the monkey whisperer! Was a little concerned at first when they weren’t visible, but after calling out… down they came! Close encounters with the Tamarin, Capuchins and Howlers left fantastic memories. I also appreciate Javier going the extra mile to find other wildlife and points of interest.
We went on a very rainy day and admired that the tour guides did not give up until they coaxed the monkeys into saying hello
Alex, the guide was great — friendly and knowledgeable. He greeted us and told us about the day. The boat ride was fantastic. It was great to be next to the massive ships transversing canal. The monkeys were numerous. We saw one sloth. The length was perfect!
Alci was a great guide and we saw a lot of wildlife including 3 different types of monkeys and a sloth. The boat ride was smooth and scenery beautiful. Would definitely recommend!
The boat was skillfully navigated through the islands. Our guide, Fernando, was knowledgeable and friendly. Getting to see so many native creatures, and getting to feed a few, was a thrill.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and attentive to the group. Up close view of the ships and the monkeys were adorable 😍 I highly recommend
It was a fantastic tour! Dan was so knowledgeable and entertaining He was fabulous!
Completely amazing! Dan told us about so much on the way there and back. A monkey held my hand as he ate from it! Boat ride was smooth.
This experience was amazing and unique. Actually going through THE Panamá canal by boat, passing large vessels and tug boat is a memory that will last forever. And if that weren’t enough, Demetrio and our captain Melissa took us to the various islands where we saw three different species of monkeys. They were both extremely patient in ensuring we got to see and feed them and record the whole experience. We also saw 2 crocodiles 🐊 😬 The best part was that these animals were in their natural habitats, doing things on their own terms and not caged in a zoo somewhere. All 4 of us enjoyed this tour immensely. Demetrio - who had been our tour guide on the Embera village/waterfall tour- was again excellent and so patient. He knew how to make the monkey sounds to call them and made it clear that the animals are going to do what they want. The monkeys especially the white faced ones were so gentle, holding our hands while they ate peanuts from our hands. This tour, especially with Demetrio, is highly recommended.
Highly recommend! Our guide was Dan and he was very knowledgeable about Panama and was able to answer any questions we had! Also very flexible with pickup and drop off! Our highlight was feeding the monkeys! The guide knew exactly how to get the monkeys to come to you! We left with a good impression of Panamá 😊🇵🇦
Dan was the best tour guide and we had the best time. Will book with Dan again for future tours.
Fabulous trip. Pick up and dropoff was seamless. Our guide wasknowlegeable about the cabal, the lake a d the wildlife. We saw three kinds of monkeys, a crocodile, bats and birds. Especially refreshing was the boat ride which allowed us to escape the tropical heat for a few hours. Must
Wonderful experience- knowledgeable guide
Great experience and recommend it highly. Saw lots of wildlife and even fed a monkey!
was awesome & Fernando & the Fox were wonderful.
Dan is an amazing tour guide! He shows up on time, takes good care of his group and showed us so many things on our way to the Panama Canal and the Monkey Island. He is well informed, easy to talk to and lots of fun. I highly recommend Dan Taylor as your tour guide. Plus the little moneys on Monkey Island will eat bananas right out of your hand! How cool is that?! Marsha & Ronnie
I had a great time. The boat ride was pleasant and the guide was very informative. I actually fed monkeys from my hand.
This was truly a small group tour. There were only 3 of us (our group of two and another solo traveler). Fernando, our driver and guide, was absolutely wonderful. He made sure that we all got a chance to see everything and to feed the monkeys. He answered all of our questions and told us lots of interesting facts. I would highly recommend booking this tour.
Fun experience. Visited three separate areas in the canal and got to interact with three different types of monkeys. The tour guide was either hungover or just having a bad day. He wasn’t very talkative and on his phone while we were in the boat. The canal museum gave a ton of history that I could have learned from the tour guide if he was a little more engaged.
This tour was amazing! The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We got to interact with some of the wildlife and it was a must-do experience.
Dan was amazing so was the tour!!
A great morning out on the canal
This was one of the best excursions of my lifetime. Our tour guide, Fernando promptly picked us up from our hotel. He was an awesome tour guide sharing a wealth of knowledge about the monkey habitats, boats in the canal and other wildlife in the Panama Canal. He drove us to lake Gatun to board a boat for cruising up the canal to the islands. The boat trip was relaxing as we passed other boats and massive ships in the canal. Fernando was passionate about sharing the history of the area. We saw monkeys, sloths, turtles, iguanas, tropical birds and alligators. Fernando and the boat driver worked together to ensure we had time to interact (on board) with the monkeys. We also learned a lot about the Panama Canal. Overall, the boat tour lasted about 3 hours and was fantastic. I highly recommend the tour to all visiting Panama City.
Great trip, really took time to try to see all the animals. Very friendly and cute monkeys. Great trip
This tour was well worth the money! We were picked up by our tour guide, Ruben, at our hotel and driven through Panama City and national parks on our way to Gatun Lake. Ruben provided informative commentary and interesting facts all along the way. At the lake, we boarded a covered speedboat and sped across it, passing ships on their way to the canal locks. Once we arrived at monkey Island, we were able to see three different species of monkey, along with a crocodile, iguana, sloth, bats, and a gigantic ant hill. We were able to directly feed the first 2 species of monkeys as they would grab peanuts or bananas out of our hands! It was such a cool experience – one that we will never forget!
Nice, relaxing boat ride, We got to see three types of monkeys up close, along with other animals. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable.
It was a very relaxing and fun experience. Our guide, Ricardo, was very attentive, engaging and knowledgable about every detail of the trip. Learned and had a lot of fun throughout the trip. Thanks !!!
Our driver was Ricardo and he is literally the best. Best driver and best tour guide. He made sure everyone had a great time. We had a small group of 5 and it was perfect.we got to feed soany species of monkeys I recommend this tour for everyone of all ages, but if you can ask for RICARDO!
This was the very worse experience I've had while traveling. I scheduled the tour and was told to meet at the pick up location. I was at the pick location 20 minutes ahead of time. The driver never came. When I called they lied and said I wasn't there. Not good at all, now I have to fight to get my money back!
very lovely experience, saw a plethora of wild life, including monkeys, iguanas and alligators. Kids got to feed the monkeys! Dan was a Brilliant tour guide from start to finish!
Absolutely amazing..Our tour guide Daniel was awesome!! He gave great insight to the history of Panama & the canal. The monkeys were soooo cute and came right up to us and ate out of our hands.. a lot og great memories were made that day!!!
It was amazing experience and a very knowledgeable tour guide!
Was a great morning. Picked up exactly on time and driven to the canal. Had a lot of information about the canal itself. Rode in a small boat out through islands and saw three kinds of monkeys and lots of birds. Got close to some giant ships coming through the canal. Everything felt safe and was a great time overall.
Fernando was amazing very knowledgeable and answered our questions about the animals and the boats in the canal. Didn’t expect to see so many beautiful animals. It was amazing to see Fernando call the monkeys by name and them to come out to him. Had an amazing morning thank you very much Fernando and our boat driver!!
Alsee (sorry if misspelt) was an amazing guide! Lots of fun and tonnes of monkeys!
This is a really cool way to get to experience nature and the canal at the same time. The monkeys are adorable and it’s really special to get to be on the lake with the huge boats transiting the canal.
My family and I had a great experience today, with our tour guide Ricardo. He planned ahead and bought some fruit which was provided to the native animals, allowing us to experience the native animals first hand experience. One of the animals ate fruit out of my hand which was an amazing experience . The boat operator also provided a smooth ride which added to the experience. Thanks again for the experience you provided .
