Great experience overall. We've caught a bad weather at sea 🌊 and the crew managed to keep it beyond calm, and get everyone of us to safety. The crew was super cool and professional.

Itinerary
The island of Taboga is located about twenty kilometers from the coast of Panama City in the Pacific Ocean. The activity starts at 8:45 am (check-in 30 minutes before). We navigate to the back of Taboga Island and along the way you can see the Bridge of the Americas, the Amador Causeway, and the Bay of Panama. We anchored in a virgin bay around 10:45 am. The customers take advantage of the sea and the sun to swim and relax until lunchtime. Musical atmosphere and open bar all day. At 11:30 am we started the navigation towards the main beach and the town of Taboga.
We anchored in front of the main beach and the town of Taboga around 12 pm. We serve lunch on the catamaran with table service on china (no plastic). After lunch around 12:45 pm, customers have the option to go down to the island to visit the town and enjoy the beach or to continue enjoying on the catamaran. At 2:30 pm we pick up the clients who went down to the island and start the navigation back to Panama City. Musical atmosphere and open bar all day. Disembark at 4:15pm.

Very fun excursion!! Eric, Allison, & Mathew made it fun with games, music, and fun trivia. They were very hospitable. I wish Toboga had a bit more to do, but that was not their fault. The boat and swimming was the best.
It's an exciting experience from when you board the catamaran to returning back. Great music, excellent crew, history of the island shot games just a great time.
Tour was great only problem was the food thats not my style next time serve fry chicken most people eat that
Matthew, Eric, and Juan Diego were a blast. The catamaran was such a great experience. We got to swim out in open water and then head to the beach for a few hours. Lunch was delicious and it was such a vibe. Would definitely go again.
I enjoyed the crew and the level of professionalism and friendly atmosphere. Drinks, food and good music will always be a positive outcome in my opinion.
Such a fun trip! Food and drinks were nice and the music was 💯. Crew were friendly, fun and kept us safe. Shout out to Matt for the great service!
I had an amazing experience, even though it was raining and chill out, the crew made sure we had a great time, the only thing we needed was the sun to make it an unforgettable experience. One of the crew members Miguel assisted me in getting in the water since I don't know how to swim, that was very sweet he was there watching over me while i was able to enjoy the water. Loved that the tour was both in english and spanish, also history based. The dance and the activities were great. Overall an amazing experience.
Very good experience, so enjoyed the boat and the crew!! Good times, good food, great swimming
I had an amazing time! The crew members were so friendly and very interactive. The games were fun and educational. The line dancing was fun and hilarious. The food was good. The drinks were endless. The other travelers were all very nice! Everyone was just having a grand time. I would absolutely recommend this! Lastly, I forgot my sunglasses and one of the crew members searched for some and let me borrow them! I was so appreciative!
The experience was good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. More food options are needed for persons with dietary restrictions.
With a weekend in between the work weeks on our international trip a group of 7 (3 women & 4 men) we were eager to get in the water. This tour delivered. Clear communication in both Spanish & English. Chill vibes fostered by the phenomenal crew. We were at ease all day. We followed a schedule but they planned it well to where you were ready for the next step each time. Weather conditions were great and when the storm approached Taboga just as we had already planned to head back. Captain Rico navigated around the perimeter for a smooth sail back to port. The food was the only thing not 10/10 but that’s not what we came for. As always, be wary of other groups aboard as some relations seemed potentially connected to the crew (seemed like 2 girls may have been invited to bring the energy up) but that’s just an assumption. I got stung by a jelly in the finals moments in the water & Miguel was prepared with ointment. The crew had a high regard for safety throughout the trip.
The entire experience was such a vibe. We got put in the Manga tour boat and the new meet up spot was not communicated properly. But despite that, my friend and I had a great time. From swimming on the north side of the island, heading into town and making new friends while cutting up on the dance floor. A time was had! The staff was absolutely amazing and were a fun time. Best for small groups or couples traveling that want to meet fellow travelers who want to have a good time.
Amazing!!! Crew, food, boat!! Made my son’s 18th birthday one to remember!!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for good vibes!!
Incredibly friendly and enthusiastic crew. Fun music and food. They made it a great trip. Water and drinks supplied.
The staff was truly professional, kind and fun. The people on the boat was a vibe. The music was on point and the drinks and food were delicious!
Great experience, the tour guides made the day fun and exciting. Enjoyed swimming, visiting the island and relaxing! Would highly recommend!
Online check-in information incorrect. I arrived early at the designated location and waited an hour. No one was at check-in location. I called the number on the banner and a lady told me that I was to meet at a different dock. When I arrived, the boat was not the Red Cat but a different provider all together. Not helpful. This is a party barge, not a sight seeing adventure. Flies were all over the food and the service area smelled like the nearby bano. You get what you pay for.
Excellent music, beautiful beaches and a special thanks to the amazing crew that made our trip an unforgettable experience with games, singing and lots of dancing!
A fabulous time was had! Delicious lunch, attentive crew, excellent music, good vibes and drinks were in abundance. The cherry on top was the crew dancing! Highly recommend! Great way to spend our last day in Panama
It is a good time and the people keep the vibes going. The staff are cordial and do assist when help is needed. Plenty of drink options. It would be nice if they had a menu to choose from for drinks that are commonly requested. Also, you had to take your shoes off on board. I ended cutting my toe and my ankle in several places. The staff provided supplies to take care of that. Know when you get into the ocean from the cove, the waves are strong so you have to really be careful that you don't get pulled in the wrong direction. But once everyone was settled it was fine. They also had a person watching us the whole time. Snacks could be better. They were clear about timelines and meeting spots. I would do this tour again!
My friends and I had sooo much fun. The crew is amazing. I don’t remember everyone’s name but Esteban, Juan Diego, Eric I mean everyone was so cool. They dropped us off directly at the beach too which was so convenient. I wanna do this every time I come to Panama
This was our favorite experience of our trip. The crew was superb. Will definitely do again when we return in the future!!!
So much fun! The music was awesome! The staff were sweet and kept the energy up and popping! We were all doing the electric slide and Cha Cha! I can’t believe I got in the water, but the water was soooo warm, not cold at all! The island Tapoga had the bomb fried Red Snapper and the must drink Pineapple Pina Colada. This tour is great, the 8 hours go by like a breeze. Book!
Fantastic day trip! Great crew. Lots of fun! Enjoyed a calm swim off of the boat, then ate lunch, follow d by a few hours on Taboga. Had $5 piña coladas it’s free refills and rented 2 chairs & umbrella for $20 on nearby beach. Be careful as the tide comes in during the afternoon! Really enjoyed this day trip! Crew made sure everyone was safe but also had fun!
I booked this tour to celebrate my dad's 50th birthday, and it absolutely did not disappoint! The crew members on board were professional, friendly, and made sure everyone had a great time. The music was fantastic, the drinks kept flowing, and the party atmosphere started early and lasted throughout the trip. Lunch was delicious—the chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and literally fell right off the bone. Everything was well organized, and the staff did an excellent job ensuring all guests were comfortable and having fun. This was truly a memorable experience for our group of nine, and it was the perfect way to celebrate such a special occasion. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Panama City.
I was actually I'll the 1st half of the experience, but host helped me through the nausea and I was able to enjoy the 2nd half of the trip. Great music, great food, and great bar. The host were very entertaining and made the most of the experience...I will definitely do it again 👌🏽
We had an amazing time! I truly appreciate their hospitality and kindness. We had a lot of laughs and the places we went were amazing!! We got to swim in the ocean near an island and then the second stop was at a beach on the other side of the ocean. The food was good, but most of all the crew was awesome!
Great experience, crew was fun.
The trip was fun. The crew was attentive and friendly. Must bring some snacks because they on feed you lunch. Taboga island wasn’t something for me. Lots of run down shanty’s and stray dogs in the beach. We returned to the boat and just relaxed like we set to when booking this trip.
The crew was pretty cool, the views were great! We enjoyed our time on this excursion. This review is a week after our trip so I’m forgetting names. But we had a brief history lesson about the island and a fun Q&A time. Lunch was not bad at all. The water was amazing and much needed as it was a very hot day. We felt safe and in good hands during the entire time.
Great experience and crew! Beautiful tour. Closest island to Panama City. Amazing lunch provided. Highly recommend!!
The crew about our ship was awesome! The Manga is a beautiful boat, with space to spread out and the number of people was not too many. We met and chatted with people from all over which was fun. The music was always lively and the lunch…. So good! There was no rush to anything that day. We swam, toured the island and got amazing views of the city and tankers waiting to get into the canal. The captain and crew were super nice and friendly. They danced and told jokes and kept everyone in good spirits.
Five stars! We loved our experience with our hosts, Rica, Miguel, and Matthew. Lunch and open bar were really nice and the sites were so beautiful! Would absolutely recommend, especially if you can go on a weekday.
Our experience was amazing. The staff was super friendly and fun. The lunch was delicious, and the views on the boat ride were amazing. Great time.
When we first arrived, we were very confused because there were no indicators to determine where we were supposed to be going. There were a ton of army men standing around and none of them spoke any English. Eventually we found one of the host. The catamaran was so much fun. The hosts were fun, the food they served was pretty good and the drinks were non stop. When we got to Taboga Island, there was a lot of trash in the water so we did not want to get in but we were able to swim at the first stop and the water was beautiful there. We rented ATVs when we arrived and rode to the top of the island and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We got to see the entire island from up there. I would recommend anyone to rent the ATVs and be sure to rent them for an hour.
The experience was seamless from start to finish, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure on the water. The "all-inclusive" nature of the trip made for a truly stress-free day. The crew was attentive and professional, ensuring everyone on board was comfortable while we took in the stunning views of the coastline and the island. It was exactly the kind of polished and culturally significant excursion I look for when traveling internationally. If you are looking for an upscale, classic day trip that captures the beautiful energy of Panama, this is it. I highly recommend booking early—it’s a popular choice for a reason!
I took my family with me and we had a great time. The crew was super friendly and they provided a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great day trip on a boat to the beach.
Friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable staff. The open bar was a plus. The food was good. The playlist had a wide range of songs, making every one feel included. The dance session was pure vibes
My sister and I enjoyed the excursion. However, initially we were not sure if we would be able to board the boat. A policeman was standing at the gangway demanding to see passports with the stamp that most tourists received upon entry. We did not have our physical passports but did have a passport card and photos of our passports. I am not sure why this was a requirement since we were not leaving the country. After about an hour and when everyone else was boarded we were allowed to get on the boat without showing anything. If you book this tour, please be sure to bring your passport with the stamp from Panama. After the initial angst, we ended up having an enjoyable day. Please bring plenty of sunscreen and a hat to protect yourself from the sun. The lunch that was served on board(chicken, rice, salad, and plantains) was hot and delicious. Tobago Island had plenty of vendors who sold food, drinks, and souvenirs. The beach was nice. We rented chairs and an umbrella for $20.00. It is a long day. We disembarked at 5:00 p.m. I would recommend this tour. Don’t forget your passport.
Incredible crew, specifically Matthew and Gabriela, but only because I couldn't remember the others names. Engaging crew, great boat, fantastic service, and always there for YOU! Would absolutely do it again.
Great vibes not too crowded and not to mention open bar lol. Lunch was good. I would suggest bringing your own beach towels. Overall great experience
This excursion was not worth the money. PROS: The tour guides was very nice and friendly. Nice catamaran clean. Good strong drinks and great music played a mix of everything. CONS: Food was cold and undercooked and there were flies flying all over not one or two I mean tons of flies. When we reached Toboga Island couldn’t really swim in the water there was stuff in the waters biting everyone. To the point people including my own kids came out the water with red swollen marks over their body and no one warned us of anything being in the water. When we asked about it we were told oh it’s just baby jellyfish seemed like more than jellyfish to me. On the Island we had to pay for chairs and umbrellas. One plus on the island the food was amazing. Not to mention we had a ghetto chick on the boat that was just loud, belligerent, and cursing all Day in front of the kids and all so that was a major turnoff. Not worth the $$$$$$
The time on the Catamaran was so much fun! There was a lot of music, time to swim, a couple hours on Taboga’s beautiful beach, and delicious lunch was served on the boat. Great experience!
Book this experience and you won’t regret it.
It was an amazing day with this crew, the experience and the destination. The crew was very interactive and friendly and kept us happy and smiling. We were able to jump into the water and enjoy swimming around for a bit and then we went to the beach where we were able to enjoy some fresh fruit and jet skiing.
The tour operators were so knowledgeable, fun and organized. They kept us fed all day with lunch, open bar and snacks. Moreso, they kept vessel clean the entire time and ensured smooth sailing. Kudos to those young men!
It was just okay, the ferry to the Island is also an option and they use a dingy to drop you off on land. Its not a bad experience. Everyone on the excursion is very friendly and they have plenty of drinks on board, but all the snacks are pretty cheap party favors. Lunch was an upside though, super delicious and had no complaints there. They stop behind the island to a prime spot for swimming for a little bit, maybe because the know the beach in Tobago isn’t comfy to swim in, very rocky and rough. Water isnt as clear either, you cant tell what you’re stepping on. Now that I know what the excursion is, i think I’m alright taking a ferry next time. The island is very rustic and many of the businesses are small shacks that provide great options for food and beverages at reasonable prices. My suggestion? Do this excursion if its your first time but on your second, book tickets for the ferry.
Super fun, I’m not normally into party boats, but the crew was so cool! Good food and good drinks. Loved swimming off of the boat!
We had such a great time on the catamaran tour to Taboga Island! The catamaran itself was beautiful, and the entire experience from start to finish was nothing but fun and good vibes. The hosts onboard were amazing—super lively, energetic, and knew exactly how to keep the party going. They played great music, danced, sang, and really made sure everyone was having a good time the entire ride. The open bar was a huge plus, and the drinks kept flowing as we enjoyed being out on the water. When we stopped on the island, we grabbed fresh pineapples filled with rum for about $8, which was such a fun and refreshing treat. We also tried some food from a local spot, and it was really good—definitely worth it. Between the fun atmosphere, great hosts, open bar, and the beautiful views of Panama City from the water, this was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking to relax, have fun, and enjoy the scenery all in one trip!
