Sheraton Grand Panama

This property does not live up to the Sheraton brand standard. The hotel feels outdated and honestly needs a full renovation — otherwise it might as well be turned into a museum. I stayed one night purely because of its convenient location near the airport. I had just come from the Sortis Hotel, Autograph Collection, which was superior in every way despite being priced almost the same. Given that, this Sheraton simply isn’t good value for money. The club lounge was underwhelming, but breakfast was even worse. As a Titanium member, I was initially told breakfast was included in the main restaurant. When I arrived, I was told it was only available in the club lounge. After some back and forth, the front desk finally confirmed with the restaurant that it was included. Honestly, the breakfast itself wasn’t even worth the hassle — poor selection, low quality, and the chafing dishes didn’t even look clean. Overall, this felt like a waste of money. I should have stayed at the Sortis, or perhaps tried the new Renaissance Panama Hotel instead. This Sheraton was a disappointing experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Service from Rosa! I visited the restaurant at Sheraton Grand Panama and received exceptional service from Rosa. She was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout my visit. Her warm attitude and attention to detail made the dining experience truly enjoyable. Thank you, Rosa, for providing such outstanding service!

This review mostly goes for the bar/restaurant named Mi Rincón beside the pool at the hotel. 2 bartenders stood out for me, Bennett and Jhindo! I hope the managers of this place sees the review and properly recognize and value these two employees. They made my stay here way more enjoyable, great drinks, great conversations. Bennett has over 40 years experience always willing to help, and Jhino is a young and and ambitious young man. I spent a lot of money at the bar because of them! 🤣

First, I don't know how in the world anyone could give this place 5 stars. The lobby is nice, but things go down hill from there. The hallways are dirty. The bathrooms are very small and wrre not very clean. For some reason the sink and shower drains drain very slowly. Our room was not very clean, and the list goes on and on. Basically, I found nothing good about what I saw and encountered. All I have to say is, go ahead and stay here and see for yourself. Again, there is no way this place can or should be given 5 or even 4 stars. Normally the majority rules, but with so many people leaving 5 stars, I have no idea whats going on and how they could have found this place worthy of 5 stars. Unfortunately, the best I can give is 2 stars.
